Great video mate. I’ve started keeping British this year (redpolls). I’ve been breeding and showing glosters for years and wanted to to bring in the British but didn’t think I had the set up to breed them. Gonna bring in more British next year. Looking at bullies and green finches so good to see they will breed in double breeders and larger. Keep up the work mate.

For many years I wanted a pair of green finches, but was put off with the disease they got , but clearly this wasnt mentioned so I assume it's not around anymore ,

Kindly, I have a pair of UK Green Finches, and they have a closed E 3.1mm ring, but it seems a bit tight. Do you know if it is legal to use the G size 3.3mm instead on the youngsters? Kindly, when should a ring the youngsters, because I don't wish to disturb them so much because it is their first nest?
Something else, please do you which artificial type if grass or leaves I should use because it is my first time and where I live Green Finches do not nest?

Nice Video again mate. Quick question, how do you manage enteritis in your young green finches? Green Finches are known to suffer from it when young..
I use a coccidiosis medication, this stops them from suffering

I don’t think so, they are in a different family so are more distantly related than what is generally possible to breed mules/hybrids from

The females have markings like a necklace and are a bit duller. The males are more brighter
