    Glad I went back and watched the beginning, just so cool to see this abandoned town with all the things that were left behind to rot away with time. Thank you for taking us through this gem from the past!

    That car I think is most likely Canadian made if it's pre 1975, before Canada switched to metric from imperial. It would show miles not km. Just a thought.
    Also, I appreciate the drone footage, it gives a different perspective of how it was set up. The land looks fertile and capable of sustaining crops. I wonder why everyone left.
    James, you did a great job showcasing this town. But it's just a little sad to see everything in such ruins. So many people lived their lives in this town. All with dreams and hope for a future and then nothing...

    Thank you Static Spaces for visiting my backyard. This is about 1.5 hours southeast of me. So neat. The cars were awesome. Again an awesome explore and amazing work. Big hugs😊😊

      I liked that area a lot actually, it's almost a desert, so it made for a very enjoyable explore. Didn't like all the cracks I got in my windshield though! 😂 Glad you enjoyed it Kimmy and thanks a lot for your comment!!

    So many awesome things to see in this ghost town. I loved the camper! If i remember correctly, i think the half circle metal ring on the Fury's steering wheel was actually the horn. Amazing how things have changed in automobiles. Thanks for sharing this incredible place James!!

    Hi James
    You always find the coolest locations. All of these homes and cars seen better days. I couldn’t believe you walked
    thru some of them. I was worried for your safety James. Is that farm still being worked. It looked all dried up and
    dead. A very interesting and enjoyable Static Space. Thank you for bringing us along on this adventure.👍🆒
    It’s a ghost town but we didn’t see any ghosts.👻👁️LOL!!!!

    • @StaticSpaces
      @StaticSpaces  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Ya, this place has been abandoned for a long time and nature is taking over. Yes, all the farm fields are active. Everything looked dead because this was in the fall...also, it's a semi-arid climate, so almost desert like and they don't get a lot of rain there. So glad you enjoyed it Irene and thanks very much for your comment!!

    It's really cool to see an actual ghost town! I thought the camper was really cool with the vintage televisions in it! My favorite part was the 1968 Plymouth Fury! What a cool old car. Thanks for bringing us this one. We really enjoyed it! 👍

    Oh my god, i forgot to leave a comment for this!! Loved how the drone shots added to the 'middle of nowhere' atmosphere of this place which really makes you consider how isolated they must've been when the place was thriving, and it's interesting to see the village slowly returning to being farm land again, which is a nice change from the places that you explore back home!

    Great video ❤ If the walls could talk what a story we would hear!! I enjoyed walking through the buildings and looking at the cars❤ A beautiful price of property and your pictures were great!!!! It would be fun to restore an old camper like that!!!!! Did I understand it was a railroad town? Thanks again for a great adventure!! Pam❤️❤️

    • @StaticSpaces
      @StaticSpaces  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So there is a whole subculture of people that like to restore old airstreams and from what I have learned it's quite expensive. I don't think that one was an airstream but it does give you an idea of what it might take. Either way, it would be amazing to have one of those! Really glad you enjoyed it Pam and thanks very much for your comment!!

    Well Canada was switching to metric system in 1970. And totally switched in 1975. Just looked it up. So that car that was in miles . Those cars were in the 1960s and 1970s still in miles

    • @StaticSpaces

      Yes, around that time. In another video, I had heard that there was one man who stayed into the 90s, maybe one of these was his home. Thanks very much for your comment!!
