Hey John, I think I'm disappointed by that, haha.. I expected you to love it! You're right about the fake paneling though... I believe the neighbors are cutting the grass here, because of where it is.. The lockbox, many places have them, sometimes they're forgotten.. It's sitting wide open, so your guess is as good as mine... Thanks for your awesome writeup, i'll make sure its pinned!
Hey Rachel. It was my pleasure. Thank you for stopping by to watch and comment. I agree this place is gorgeous and has so much character, it could be made extra special easily enough! Thank you again and I hope you will watch more of my videos
Hi Linda! I'm also old school and appreciate a lot of the things that this house has to offer. I'm glad that you saw the video and really enjoyed it. Thank you for calling thinking I hope that you'll check out some more of my stuff!
This home is gorgeous. I'd tackle that garden in a heartbeat, the main living area finished in wood is amazing as is the views from almost every window. Definitely was someones heaven
Hey el! If you want to tackle that garden, I think somebody should let you. That is not an easy task and obviously somebody that wants to take it on has some good ideas! The woodwork is among my favorite that I've seen, and you're right. Most of the windows have a terrific view! Thank you so much again for watching and commenting, talk soon!
Hey S D! I totally agree with you! So much more character and charm. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch some more of my videos!
Th this one beautiful home. How come someone isn’t living in it? I love all of the amazing woodworking through out the house. You really find such beautiful abandoned homes. I would love to live here. As l keep watching this is too clean. Someone owns this house. Who’s paying the electricity bill. It’s cleaner inside than a lot of peoples homes that are lived in. It’s spotless the door in the front opening is so beautiful. I would keep it. So glad that it’s not destroyed by vandalism 🌹🌹💯💯👍👍
Hey Crystal! I'm glad you enjoyed this place, I loved it myself. I don't know why it's lived in, I know it was sold for land value, but it obviously could still be used.. It's a shame for that woodwork to go to waste right?? I never understand who's paying the electricity when it's on, your guess is as good as mine!! LOL.. I love that it wasn't destroyed by vandals, they ruin everything! Thank you so much for watching this one and commenting, I hope you'll be back for more
This is probably one of the coolest houses that you have explored! Awesome outside and in!! Love the family room. Nice fireplace and all of the woodwork and sky lights, it looks good with the blue carpet I think. Never seen wooden spotlights like that before, that’s unique and cool. Awesome explore as always brother!!!!
Hey man, that is awesome to hear! I did enjoy it a lot.. The woodwork and sky lights were definitely amazing.. I knew you'd enjoy that! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thanks for being there!
This was a beautiful home. I like the floorplan. I didn’t really like the basement. I can’t believe the light was still on. Those lights in the bathroom around the sink are going to be in style one of these days again and will sell for a lot. They really need to be taken out and asked for those white chairs in the kitchen with the blue seats, I love love love them. I’ll bet, they don’t go for cheap these days. I had identical ones, but I believe the seat padding may have been red. I honestly can’t remember but I love them and we had a matching round table. I left it with the ex. It’s on such a beautiful lot also. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks again,Greg.
Hey Kathi, this house was cool but yeah the basement certainly was not a highlight in any way haha.. I always can't believe when the lights are on. I loved a lot about those chairs and the kitchen setup in general.. Thanks for watching this one, I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
What pity that this house has been left empty. Good idea that this house be rented or bought. It is a very nice house. 1970's houses are good. Everything seems to be intact. Love it.💖💖💪💪
Hey H Chapuis!! I totally agree, this place deserves a better fate than this.. Sadly next time somebody lives on this land, the house will be gone. This beauty should be preserved!! Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I hope you'll be back for more.. Sorry for being slow to reply!
An amazing and cozy house. I love the living room with the once beautiful view of the garden. It just needs a few small renovations and some work in the garden and it would be a super cozy and wonderful home again. Fantastic and interesting tour, Greg. 👏👍 Thank you ☺️
Hey Andrea!! I'm glad you saw this one, I totally agree about this house was amazing and cozy, and the yard at one time was pristine! I'm glad you saw this one and enjoyed it, thanks for checking it out, its good to hear from you!!
Hey Laurie, I believe the neighbors cut the lawn because of the area it is in, and some towns have strict bylaws about that.. Inside was surprisingly clean considering the place has been wide open! Thank you for watching and commenting on this!
Hey Amanda! Thank you for checking this video out, this was an absolutely cool spot to do so I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed it. I love the hummingbirds stained glass, hummingbirds are too cool! Thank you so much for checking this out and I hope to hear from you again!!
Hey James, I totally agree with you, this is one that could easily be a great home still. Thanks for checking this out and commenting! I appreciate it!
Hey Mary. I'm glad to hear you loved it! Thank you for watching the video and commenting. It means a lot! I hope you'll check out some more of my videos
Uncapped!!🤘 Great job, nice little home, with a little fixing up of course. Loved the skylights, family room. The backyard was gorgeous! Fun explore with fun people, as always 😊 Best of luck to you on the 23rd 🥊💪 Keep us updated! Go Uncapped 🤘🦅
Hey SMIPA! I'm glad you enjoyed it, definitely a cool spot.. The skylights were the nicest I've seen in a long time! The yard was huge!! Thank you for the well wishes! Thanks for being part of this thing as always!!
I love that stove, which I’ve seen in lots of older houses but different pictures. This one reminds me of Maple syrup shacks. The railing going downstairs upstairs is quite nice. All the rest in the sink means the iron content is very high. The Coca-Cola closet, well I guess somebody liked drinking pop and, I like the. It reminds me of the front door locking up. The chair in the kitchen is ugly and I liked the basement kitchen cupboards more than the upstairs ones. Great video as always Greg Katie
Thank-you Kathi!! I think you commented on the wrong video but I know which one you're referring to. I'm glad you enjoyed it. We both appreciate your comments!!
Hey Vickie! That's so awesome to hear. I'm glad you loved this place! Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch some more of my content!
Hey Marsha!! I'm really glad that you enjoyed this place, it was a really cool one to do. Wish it could be saved. Thank you so much for checking this one out, great to hear from you again!!
The overgrowth is awesome. Love the knotty pine wood outside the whole flavor of this place. The basement seems like it was finished some and stripped. A very neat place that seems like its not been abandoned too long. With some changes and a few updates like some windows, central air and heating this would be an awesome place. Every home I have owned were ones needing help. Not a fan of the super modern. I like homes with the retro vibe like this one. Thanks for the great video!
Hey GJ!! The overgrowth in the gardens was insane right?? This place had great wood choices inside and out, just awesome character... You might be right about the basement, i mean some definitely was stripped, but I'm not sure they finished the ceiling. I think this place has been abandoned a couple years. Definitely could be updated and reused for sure. This one had the perfect vibe right?? Thank you for watching and leaving another awesome comment, I really appreciate you!
Hey jst! It is quite an awesome house isn't it? I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you so much for checking out the video and commenting. I hope you'll subscribe and check out some more!
Hey Thelma! Thank you so much for watching the video and taking the time to comment. I'm glad to hear that you thought the home was beautiful and I hope you'll be back for more
Hey Wendy! This place has the most incredible woodwork! I'm glad that you saw it and enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I hope you'll watch another one of my videos!
Hey Robin! Glad to see you saw this one! It was a really cool place to do, I totally agree it's a complete shame! Thank you so much for checking this one out, I always appreciate hearing from you!
Hey cuddle grammie! Thank you for checking this one out, this house is full of character. Completely unique too. I'm glad that you found the video! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!
Where's the listing?? We need to buy it. This video felt like a realtor showing a house for sale. It looks perfect, except some of that wallpaper shriveling up in the basement. It's amazingly clean. The only work it needs is to clean up those beds around the house, and do some driveway work. I would live there in a heartbeat. Also, I wouldn't change a thing about the interior. It is so untouched, there's nothing worth changing to me.
Hey MilleMeteor74, I wish this place was for sale, unfortunately, I know that developers own it now and the future is probably grim for this place. It is a perfect home that could easily be used still, I fully agree with you.. The interior is cool here, its really special, it shouldn't be changed! I'm glad you found this video and enjoyed it, I hope you subscribed and will watch some more of my stuff! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey Matt! Thank you for watching and commenting, I'm glad you enjoyed this one! it's located in ontario canada.. Thank you again for watching, I hope you check out some more of my stuff!
Hey Marion, the neighbors are taking care of the property, the area it is in, is a nice area. So they don't want an eyesore. It isn't usual to see that..
actually, some do. Look at some of my older stuff, I have been in places half disintegrated with power still! Thanks for watching and commenting though, these things can be deceiving!
Hey Karen! I agree it's a pretty decent house, and some updates could make it perfect. I'm glad you saw this one and enjoyed it, thank you so much for watching. I hope you'll check out some more of my videos
Hi Sandy! I totally agree, it's an absolute Beauty and somebody should be enjoying it! Thank you so much for watching the video and commenting and I hope you'll check out another!
Hey Tina!! I totally agree, it's a beauty, should not be demolished. But you know how it goes.. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I hope you'll check out another video! sorry for the slow reply
I actually really like this house the kitchen is just fabulous love the organization and look all it needs is a dishwasher. Did I miss it anyway and the living room is great Floor plan is good Coat closet needs a door doesn't it that was odd a front hall closet and no door Basement is a bit odd apartment is nice with the private entrance not crazy about the kitchen almost no very tiny but blue countertop is pretty, and the workshop is very nice Thank you for the tour I would move in tomorrow if I could 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hey Theresa, I'm glad you enjoyed this place. The kitchen really was a step back in time, so I'm not sure a dishwasher would be appropriate!! (HAHA). But I do agree with you. I think the front closet was an after thought, as much of the basement was... It is a great home, it should be saved, and thank you for joining me for the tour, I hope you'll be back for more and I hear from you again!
Hey Kelly!! I totally agree that's what makes all these old places so cool, they have character! Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I hope you'll be back for some more
Hey Jules, which wood paneling would you change? The inside (all of the house??), or little bit outside?? Thank you for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch some more of my videos!
Hey Greg what an absolute stunner and that fire place was so cool, hey man I liked those seats in the kitchen and yes im going to ask cant believe the power is still on. This 70s home is still good to live in mate another uncapped films special cheers buddy.
Hey Werner I'm glad you saw this one! It really is a stunner eh?? Don't see many places like this. I can't believe the power is on either LOLOL Thanks so much man
@JohnShinn1960 thank you John! I'm officially 1-0 as an amateur boxer! I do have video I will post on Instagram at some point soon. Thank you very much for your contributions again
Really cool house Honey as usual I love it and would soon get that garden into shape . House is lovely and clean i love the shingle finish that tree 🌳 is absolutely beautiful hope everything goes well on the weekend Honey i will be thinking about you 😘
Thanks for being there as always, I'm glad you enjoyed it! You can have at that garden, it's a mess but if you're up to the task, go for it! Thank you for the well wishes for the fight!!
6;27/2024 Ms Gwendolyn Pittman tharpe , beautiful old abandoned house, Just need to be bought back to life,!!!!! Time 11;36 pm Thursday night ,!!! Late vacation time, est Georgia 🇬🇪
Hey Mrs Gwendolyn Pittman Thorpe. I agree with you and it wouldn't take very much to bring it back to life either. Thank you so much for watching and commenting I appreciate it. I hope you'll check out some more of my stuff
hey greg how are you mate really nice explore to such a beautiful old 70s styled home lots of colours inside that home loved the ceilling wall panels very nice pretty big place always great watching your explorations hope your well greg look forward to your next explore.
Hey Peter, I'm well hope you are too! It was a cool place right? I loved the wood work the most, made it unique and filled with character.. It's always great to hear from you, look forward to seeing you in the next Peter!
Hey ms sunshine! It's incredible right?? So stuck in time but still amazing looking. Thank you for checking this one out and commenting I'm glad you saw it!!
And Ceasar and repont! I'm glad that you enjoyed this place, I totally agree with you. Houses today do not have character. Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I hope to hear from you some more!
Hey Luiz! Thank you very much for watching and commenting, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the house and thought it was beautiful. I hope that I'll hear from you again!
uncapped Films thanks for sharing this video with me about How Could They ABANDON This Beautiful 1970's Time Capsule Home | WHERE DID THEY GO i really enjoyed this video and God Bless.
Hey ms sparks!! Definitely an interesting house, I love the wood paneling upstairs. The carpet colors are truly wild lol. Thank you so much for watching this one, I always appreciate you!!
Hey Shettikka!! Is a great place isn't it, I think a lot of people would be happy to live here. Thank you so much for watching and leaving the comment!!
hey Suzanne, it is a bigtime waste right? It's great inside, wouldn't take much to make most people happy.. Thank you for watching and commenting, I hope you'll be back for more!
Hey Melody, yeah they do mow the lawn. A lot of towns have bylaws about that, and other places, the neighbors will just cut the lawn so it isn't as much of an eyesore. This is a nicer neighborhood, so probably both are reasons why its mowed. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch some more of my videos!
Hey Ann, it was for a pool cover, possibly a neighbor ordered it. I believe the neighbors are maintaining the property so it's not a disgrace to look at.. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch some more of my videos!
Seems like this house is on the market or soon to be. The lawn is mowed (front & back) and the kitchen light left on is for 'showing' purposes. I also saw packages are being delivered there. Beautiful home and property!
Hey tatertots! It was on the market a couple years ago. I believe the neighbors are cutting the lawn. And somebody had a pool cover delivered there (that's the box). Very strange! Thank you for watching and commenting! I hope you'll check out more of my videos!
Hey Alicia! I agree, it's a shame and a complete waste, it still could make a great family home for sure.. Thank you for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch some more of my videos!
Thanks for a really interesting explore! I got the impression that this house was somehow in transition. It has lots of original features, with some very strange hacks. The great room is amazing, while the rest of the house kind of goes from ok to just weird. The unusual baseboard heater issues and the covered thermostats made me wonder if someone was starting (or planning) to upgrade the heating system. I wonder if they were restoring the house to be true to its original time period, but in a classy and more functional way. “Retro-Renovation”. That’s a thing here in the U.S. But those are just my thoughts; I could be wrong. The yard is beautiful. Every time you admired it, I felt nostalgic for my childhood home on 10 acres. I appreciate the way you keep your viewers oriented to where we are in the house.
Hey Gina! I'm glad you saw it and enjoyed it.. You described this place perfectly, it definitely had some strange hacks. I agree the main room and kitchen were the highlights of the place. I think they were renting the place and that was their solution to prevent use of the baseboard heaters honestly lol. I loved the yard too, glad it reminded you of your childhood home! And I appreciate the compliments, I do my best to make it like you're with me on the explore!! thanks for watching and I really hope to hear from you again! Sorry for the slow reply, I wanted to make sure I properly addressed your comment!
Hey Gloria! Thank you for watching and commenting! I'm glad to hear that you loved seeing this home. I believe this place was bought out by a developer and it is currently sitting In Limbo. I'm sure we know what will happen though. Thank you again and I hope you'll check out some more of my videos!!
Hey Joseph! Thanks for watching the video and commenting. Somebody does maintain the property, that area may have a bylaw about it, or the neighbors are cleaning it up because they're tired of looking at a mess. That is a very common thing to see. Thanks for watching and I hope to hear from you again!
Hey Debra, would it still be called that if it was built in the 70s? I would agree it does have that type of style.. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you'll check out more of my videos!
What cities. You post the videos but maybe someone would be interested in buying the home if they knew what city? Someone might want to move to that area but dont have the money to buy a home that is move in ready but could purchase since its in the shape its in.
Hey Peggy! I actually try to protect the locations because people tend to show up and trash them. However I can tell you this is near Toronto Ontario. Whereabouts are you?? Thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it
@@UncappedFilms thank you i understand why just figured if you find these wonderful places and dont tell a general location someone interested cannot find them to buy them. Some of these are going to become so run down they will need to be razed. And Toronto gives us a idea i would not but someone else might would be interested. I love the old homes they have character not cookie cutter. But im of an age where move in ready is what i need now.
Hey Funny things we do, yes they ARE a pain, and a major problem here, good luck to them! LOL thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you'll check out more of my videos!
Hey Connie! They do have a beautiful big lawn don't they?? Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment, I hope you'll watch some more of my videos!
Looks like houses I grew up around in Michigan. We could not afford one of those houses, but the rich people could. Back in the day, I guess $150,000 to $250.000. We had a superb of houses like that which had big private backyards. Some had pools too.
Hey mk farm Michigan! Yeah it totally reminds me of what was normal when I was growing up too... Things have drastically changed haven't they?? Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I hope you'll check out some more of my videos!
I like to see these houses but I don't think you need to open all of the toilet seats. That is unnecessary😐 I think it ruined the presentation of the house.
Hey Margaret! Thank you for watching the video and I'm glad to see that you enjoyed the house. I do apologize about the toilet thing, I actually have a lot of people that I enjoy the whole experience and I'm a bit of a goof, so I hope it doesn't take away too much from your experience overall. I do try to make up for it with being thorough lol. Thank you so much for watching and leaving your comment.
Hi there. Is there any way for my husband and I that see this beautiful home. We LOVE this house! We would like to know where it is. Can it be purchased?Thank you!
Hey Iyana, this house is located in Ontario Canada, not sure where you're at. As far as I know it's owned by a developer and will be torn down at some point.. Thank you for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch more of my videos!
Hey Gary! I think a lot of people would like to have this one. Thank you so much for watching the video, I hope you watch some more of my content! Have a great day
Hey Lincoln Town car, this place is 100% abandoned and has been purchased by developers. It will be torn down at some point. Thanks for watching and commenting again!!
You ever explore any homes that ppl still live in ❔ or like a garden that's NOT all kinds overgrown ? ❔ but that's right you enter thru the basements! This one looks pretty clean , how long has it been abandoned ❔do you work for a realtor ?
Hey Leticia! It is a gorgeous house, I agree that someone should be able to buy it and be able to live there. It's sad that it's sitting In Limbo. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you'll watch another of my videos!!
Hey Kim, it would seem they change the upstairs after they've added that weird shower. It's a very strange setup isn't it? Thank you for watching and commenting. I hope you'll watch some more of my videos

I'm not as impressed as I thougt I'd be, still, I like the floor plan and the genuine real wood paneling, the fake paneling would have to go though.
I belive it's not totally abandoned yet, someone's cutting the grass, there's also what looks to be a realtor's card box and a key lockbox outside the front door at 2:10
Thanks for the tour Greg! 👍🤠

Old properties have such character. This home is gorgeous and just needs a new owner to make it extra special.

Hey Didi! This was a really cool home and I loved it too, thank you so much for checking it out!
@UncappedFilms OH wow, Greg, it was my sincere PLEASURE! 🤗🤗🤗
Pretty clean home
Hey Rodney, yes it is pretty clean, but it doesn't take long with our winters up here for problems to develop.. It won't stay that way if it sits!

So someone is mowing the lawns! Usually when a place is abandoned the lawns are a jungle as well as the gardens! Not so here!
abandoned places dont have kitchen lights still on either,im sure this is not abandoned, maybe for sale for a very long time
Hey Marion, the neighbors are taking care of the property, the area it is in, is a nice area. So they don't want an eyesore. It isn't usual to see that..
actually, some do. Look at some of my older stuff, I have been in places half disintegrated with power still! Thanks for watching and commenting though, these things can be deceiving!
I could imagine this place with a full veggie and flower garden. When weeds are big ,easy to 0ull out. O H YES!!!
That is true! That makes it easier. I like the ideas you have!!

I actually really like this house the kitchen is just fabulous love the organization and look all it needs is a dishwasher. Did I miss it anyway and the living room is great Floor plan is good
Coat closet needs a door doesn't it that was odd a front hall closet and no door
Basement is a bit odd apartment is nice with the private entrance not crazy about the kitchen almost no very tiny but blue countertop is pretty, and the workshop is very nice
Thank you for the tour I would move in tomorrow if I could 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hey Theresa, I'm glad you enjoyed this place.

Someone has mowed part of front and back you can see the tracks in the yard
Hey Melody, yeah they do mow the lawn. A lot of towns have bylaws about that, and other places, the neighbors will just cut the lawn so it isn't as much of an eyesore. This is a nicer neighborhood, so probably both are reasons why its mowed. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you'll watch some more of my videos!

Hey tatertots! It was on the market a couple years ago. I believe the neighbors are cutting the lawn. And somebody had a pool cover delivered there (that's the box). Very strange! Thank you for watching and commenting! I hope you'll check out more of my videos!
What a shame this house is lovely some body should be living in it 😘
