I like the back phrasing one best. Watching in TX by the way. So it would be helpful if you were able to give more specific examples of what makes back phrasing and forward phrasing work. Maybe I missed it but I was confused as to how to recreate the forward and back phrasing on my own by the time I got to the end of the video
Great! Thanks. On my way around this tunes to get beautiful Jazz Voice Details for singing in our Prog-Fusion-Jazz-Metal Band Extreme Mind :D Wonderful Inspiration and beautiful doing
Oh my god my brain when you sang the back-phrasing. BOOM. And then the forward... BOOM AGAIN. It's all scrambled. I think it's hard enough singing ON TIME lmao
For me the forward phrasing is the best. First it sounds like a singer in Swing era usually did. Second, it is storytelling better, maybe that the style you the most confident because you said Musical a lot too.
Hello my name is kain weekes and I was wondering can you sing me a song called one little coyote from the wiggles on TH-cam or lyrics please I love cowgirls can you sing like a cowgirl 🤠
After the intro I almost stopped watching tbh... but that tone you’ve got that sounded tinny to my ears at first quickly took a back seat & didn’t matter when you started in with your examples. Nice! Imo (which doesn’t mean beans) anyone who thinks the “straight” version sounds good might want to consider sticking to a musical theatre or show style of singing.
Very helpful. Forward phrasing is more playful and exciting
I like best forward phrasing! But even your "straight"-sung version sounds very good! I like your voice.
Thank you! 😃
A tip: you can watch movies at Kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Brett Carson Definitely, have been using KaldroStream for since november myself :D
I have a competition on Friday and have to sing jazz I'm so glad I stumbled across your teachings thank you.
Hope it went well 👍
Forward phrasing is my favorite

@@SarahBrickelwell when I tried to listen to your mix of forward and backwards, I couldn't recognise when you were doing which.
