Thanks for sharing! I can’t wait to get back on the water with this knowledge. I was missing a step trying to mark stumps. Very good insight to the Garmin programming. Thank you!!
Thanks for the video. I like your presentation without the background music and the straight forward information. I have my unit set up similar to yours. Anyone new to Garmin and some that have had Garmin FFS for a while could use this info. Thanks again from the old man in Western N.C. Be safe on the water sir.
@Charlie.M.S mine I cannot. Mine didn’t come with maps or a place to plug in a transducer. It has to be a xsv model which mine is not. But you can make your own maps with garmins Qickdraw feature. I bought a map card for mine.
Hey my friend. Thank you, I appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the video. The biguns want to play now that the water has cooled off. But they are going deep fast here on the Rez.
Jimmy, you are the BOMB! Glad I'm a subscriber to your channel. I have only fished Ross Barnett a couple of times and having a hard time finding productive structure to catch fish. You definitely are helping me to locate areas where I can at least start. I drive almost 2 hrs. one way to be able to fish the lake, so I'm ready to learn it where I can make my trips at least a LITTLE productive!! Thank you for turning me on to Sid, his jigs are absolutely phenomenal! I have turned on others to his jigs and they are just as impressed as I am. Thank you for making your channel and all of the hard work you do making these videos. I eagerly wait to watch each new video you come out with. Hope I get to meet you on the lake one day. Glad you are finally better. Good to see you do what you obviously love to do. I can't wait to start exploring Pelahatchie creek, seems like that would be a great year-round area to fish. Fall is here and winter is coming....my favorite time of the year to chase slabs! Thank you for all you do! If you see some knucklehead in a silver Xpress boat with "Slab Chaser" on the side, that would be me. Get my attention, Jimmy....would love to someday meet you!
Hey Troy. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and are finding them helpful. It’s guys like you that keeps me going on the channel. Thanks for your awesome comment. Sid makes some great jigs Make sure you tell him you’re subscribed to crappie bytes for your great price. His jigs are normally $2.00 but for subscribers they are $1.50 and if you use code Jimmy10 you get another 10% off. If you need help with the lake just ask, I will help to the best of my knowledge. I will keep an eye out for the Slab Chaser. Look forward to meeting you. Thanks for your awesome comment and your support. Jimmy
Hey Robert. Bud I hope your sawdust pile is as good as the one on the Rez. I catch a ton of em on that spot. Thanks for watching and your support my friend.
Hey Jeff. you’re welcome and I hope you found it useful. I made the transducer pole myself. I work in a body shop and enjoy making my on stuff. I made a video on the pole a while back It would be in the how to playlist. Thanks for watching and your support.
Hey Jeff Thanks for your comment. I use a Minn Kota Ultrex Quest. This thing is a beast. Very quiet motor extremely powerful and heavy. The heavyness is the only problem I have with it. I’m getting old and not as strong as I used to be. But other than that it’s a great motor. No problems at all with it. spotlock works way better than the Torrova I had before this tm. Thanks for watching and your support. Jimmy
Great video. Thanks for sharing with us.🎣🎣🎣🎣

Another great video. I enjoy your simple teaching method and showing what works for you. I like Crappie Bytes!
I had asked you a question about marking spots with my 1222, since I use my Helix for maps. Can I use the map on my 1222 without a map card?
Hey Charlie. Glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful. Thanks for watching and your support.

I knew I could make combo screens, but I had no idea that I could hold the number buttons and preset those custom screens. Thank you very much!

What trolling motor you use on your boat?
