What do you set your color limit on

I leave it at default. ( off). Just leave it off because it does what it says, it limits color. We as livescope fishermen are site fishermen. You start to limit color then you see less.

One last question I have a Garmin at my console and when I’m out and idling around using my down imaging and I see a area and I mark it on my GPS is there a way you can link your garmin at the console to the Garmin at the bow of the boat where my garmin livescope is at so that the coordinates will be on the other unit

Hey Ken. Glad you enjoyed the video. Bud, that ole wind is gonna drive us all crazy. Hard to fish the Rez with a stiff wind. Right now the fish are so slow to bite with the cold weather and the water temp falling so fast. Next month will be pre spawn and the fish will be jumping in your boat to get your jig.

Yes Sir got some pretty gooduns. I think the biggest was a 16.5”. There was plenty of fish just real slow. But got a nice mess in the livewell. Had a lot of fun for sure. Thanks for watching my friend and your support.

Hey Matthew. That Rez can rough really quick so matter what boat you get you’ll have to pick your days to go. In my opinion 18’ is about right but for that lake bigger is better. My boat is 17’ and I can go just about anytime by choosing which side of the lake to fish the wind. In my opinion 17’ would be the minimum but I have fished in a 12 John boat many times. I am subscribed and watch all the time. I appreciate the content especially when you start talking about how to locate fish on creek and river channels in those bends. Seems like the fish relate close to the channels year round and suspend at different depths near or on cover defending on the time of year. I’m learning all of that from your videos

In your opinion do the fish prefer steep drop offs or gradual drop offs along the channels?

Steep drop offs for sure. That’s what I’m looking for on the maps is tight contour lines. Especially on points and steep curves. Something that’s unusual on the maps draws my attention. Right now on the Rez they are on deep drop offs. But during the warmer months they tend to stay on top of the drop offs. Just about any kind of structure from just a stick to a huge lay down. By the way always mark a lay down. Crappie love lay downs. Last weekend it was freezing cold and the pattern that I saw was the small structure was the key. Didn’t take much to hold the crappie. Look for odd places on your maps. It even may be an old slough or an old underwater oxbow where the river once ran. Standing timber is also very productive. Love snipping off the trees.

Hey CB. You da MAN. Can’t handle that much cold. It was in the 30’s with no wind here when I left. That ole sun shine warmed the coveralls right up. Stick to the channels and deep drop offs with brush piles. Sometimes just a stick on the bottom can hold a wasp nest. Hey Curt. Glad you enjoyed the video You know, the video with all the big fish was a day after a rain. As long as you work the deep channels you should find fish. Now will they bite? You may have pester them to death to get them to bite. But if you can find deep brush piles on the drop offs, and that can be just one stick, you should find fish. Take lots of different brite colors and keep changing until you hit that magic one. Thanks for watching and your support.

Yes Sir. They are great poles. I use three 12’ A 7 1/2 for casting. And a 13’ rear seat. All great poles. I mostly pitch to the fish but I do enjoy casting with that 71/2
