Saw you on Reddit. Eager to follow you on your journey. Another topic idea might be how/why you got into touring. Loving the content and wishing you well.

Hey thank you! Yeah I think I may make a video like that once I start to acquire some good b-roll during my trip :)

this journey is crazy man. now you got me wanting to try it out! where were your favorite stretches to travel so far? what were the most treacherous?

I think Tajikistan was my favorite. It was the most difficult, but the most rewarding for sure. I also used to lead backpacking trips up an active volcano in Guatemala, that was a big highlight of my trips too.
But you should totally go for it! The hardest part is just buying the plane ticket.

Did you ever get the Forumslader regulator? Does it perform better than the sinewave revolution?

I was revisiting this video to see how you managed to deal with the obstruction of the handlebar bag by the aero bars. Was it a problem for you? I have an Ortlieb Ultimate 6M bag and it seems you have a different one though.

I'm not sure which type I have at this point. But it just barely fits under the aerobars. The bag is angled down just a tad, and the bars are angled up just a tad, which I prefer anyways. I highly recommend the set up.

170$ to lace a wheel? Oh Heck! Where I'm from, we do it for 15-20 EUR. Just the work fee though, so if you got a good rim and spokes in the price, might be good.

Yeah I definitely would do it myself next time. I was just too busy with work to bother.
