If you want a real giggle to go along with it, make Rilifane Rallathil, the Wild elf god of stealth and survival the consort of Eilistraee. That will drive a further wedge between the high elves and the wild elves, because Rilifane is the primary god of the wild elves, not Corellian. Depending which lore you follow, Rilifane is part of the Seldarine, but he seldom goes to Arvandor. I also made Rilifane the creator god of the goblins, usurped by Magubliyet. That gives you CN goblins that ally with the Wild elves, making up for the lack of numbers in the wild elves. Without the worship of Rilifane and friendship of the wild elves, the goblins fall easily to the influence of Magubliyet. Just those two changes completely alter the elven races.
LANTERN ...G...ok so i have much to say...first off lets honor the art..i picked up the first crown i saw in the vedio..and soon tossed it over my shoulder for the second...what i think is that even thete he is teaching all of you...new Dm..what you might ask...the wronge choices..a lesson for DM and players alike..YOU NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH THE FIRST ARTIFACT YOU SEE..moving on..this vedio is outstanding..the crown wars is the history for all elfeven lovers too face..its no fairy tail..and i THANK U SO MUCH.. for making it just that ..this is your very best vedio yet ..AND THAT my man is saying something.. PS...I WANT TO REPLY to a comment in anothet vedio..ABOUT THACO...if u know how to coucilate a thaco..dont let the spelling fool you..i can still do that...lmao 15:36 lantetn out...oh the art of the storms the story the lore,and you job,this old wizard takes of his hat,wipes away a tear ,knowing that if you cant then my world and its lore got passed on RIGHT✨️

This is useful in the extreme. I was just working on a campaign world where the high elves didn’t “win” the Crown Wars and they are still ongoing. The Dark elves are divided by their religions into the Dusk elves, Twilight elves, Night elves and the Lolth-worshipping Drow. The Wild Elves are divided into the Emerald elves and the Sylvan Elves, who with their goblin allies, the Children of the Forest, who worship Rillifane Rallathil, wage a continuous guerrilla war against the high elves and their kingdoms.
A question I have is. How did a race that seemed to have a closer connection to their gods of good, get corrupted by so much evil for so long? and no help sent from the heavens. Another great video easy to follow. cool pictures and great music. where do you get the music from?
@@Mystic_Librarian the elven race inherited the traits of their gods ..hubris,pride,and arrogance. Even Corellon had these personality traits. ( His alignment isn't chaotic good anymore. He's unaligned last time I checked. (It's been a while). If you've ever read the dungeons and dragons comic that took place during the time of troubles, you would have seen the so-called "good" elven God Labelas Enoreth( elven God of long-lived, time, knowledge,blah,blah,blah) being a total douche-bag. The fruit doesn't fall very far from the tree..😅
There was never an elven civil war in LotR. In Silmarillion was the slaughter of the Teleri by the Noldor and the second kinslaying. There was not an actual civil war just 2 battles
The Vyshaan sound like weaselly small fry villains. They are like cockroaches. You think you have exterminated them all only for some of them to escape and survive then come back to pester you again.
@@ArronRatliff the Vyshaan were NOT small fries. They literally spent almost 100 years assassinating the High mages of Myeritar just so there would be none strong or numerous enough in that nation to counter-spell the casting of their "dark disaster" ritual. Plus many of those Vyshaanti high mages linked their spirits to Malkazid or his servants in order to cast high magic rituals that normally required multiple casters...less demanding or taxing (ei they didn't have to DIE for the ritual to work and it didn't require as many supporting casters. ) they were a lot more powerful than their peers. That's why it took a United elven race to carry out the death sentence decreed against them by elven court.
Ironically I changed it twice. Both are considered accurate with "Gray" as the typical "American" spelling and "Grey" being more common in the UK. Given I already found another typo I am more disappointed in, the perfect episode still eludes me :)

The elves use drow and one family as scapegoats and cringe in fear of justice for their crimes. That is a tasty campaign premise indeed!

Malkizid is one of my players patrons in my epic 5e campaign lol.
He is a half elf who's mother was forced upon by racists elves the tel quiseer. That in turn made him hate his elven half .

Is Gray elf considered insulting because Hrey is spelt wrong as Gray 😂?
