In this video Nicole pours a concrete floor. Sometimes it is also called a cement floor, but this floor is made of concrete. With wheelbarrows we poured the concrete.

It was my first time too :-) Foil was for just in case, it could not run away.

Concrete seems like 5 to 6 inches-gaging by the plank she used on the side.
Regarding looks like ⅜ grids
I believe the concrete is too thick - risks of cracking is higher but not 100 %sure- anybody have a better idea plz.

Where i live USA! "the land of the free" it is not possible to do a pool yourself you need to summit drawings pay fees for permits that you are nit allow to obtain because you need to be a licensed contractor master plumber and master electrician so if you dont pay in average 60k you only allow to have a Walmart plastic pool!
