Other than crowding the surrounding walk ways with the chosen landscape and foliage, could you explain why OSB or plywood was used as the backer for the rebar and shotcrete install? It seems really odd or wrong to use wood as a backer board and later bury it whether it’s cement or dirt. I’ve never seen a pool install leave wood in place. Typically the pit is shaped accordingly, rebar installed followed by shotcrete. Looks sketchy otherwise.
Looks great! Only thing I would have done different is not having trees so close to the pool. I’d be worried about roots causing the pool shell to break over time, but that’s just me. The design is incredible though.

Dig desired size 12-15 inches deeper/wider than needed, build and level form boards add plumbing for, drains, skimmers, returns and any accessories. Add wiring and piping for lighting. Add rebar every 12-16" on center tie rebar together keep it at least 2" off floor an wall forms. *Ground rebar to the earth every 6ft or less* blow in concrete, shape concrete, remove form boards and back fill around pool up to 18-24" from surface depending on your states/counties frost line.. while taking into account of pool piping diameter. Finish plumbing, check for leaks, finish back filling, add coping and decking materials finish pool interior with desired options install lighting. Mabe have a electrician wire electrical from your junction box to sub panel. But you definitely can run your wiring to a junction box and save $$$.
What a lovely pool. Another fine concrete product. I'll take this over vinyl and fiberglass any day. The shallow area with the two loungers and the little table was a brilliant addition. Roughly what was the final cost of the project? Curious how this compares to other ones I've seen. I am also convinced that labor costs could be greatly reduced if we could get workers to work at time lapse speed :-)

I think it’s a paper filter if some sort. I just cleaned them recently. It’s 4 filters and they’re about 30” tall

Yes it’s called Gunite. It’s a fine powder and it’s really strong
