What's wrong with 1 that puts it that low, I remember it being better than 3 and 7 imo with 4-2-6 being my top 3 But if he really rates 1-2 as the lowest when 5-7-8 exist, that's insanity
What are you yapping about? FM5 is by far the most hated entry. I still remember everybody beeing disappointed by how much content was cut from FM4. The only fools who liked 5 didnt get the chance to play 4 when it was new
@@AviationLBA then you should play 6 or 7 becuase its just 5 but better. Thats why i dont see a reasons to start up 5. If i want to play a post 4 motorsport i will fire up 6 or 7
There's a *huge* difference between "nostalgia" and "experiencing a game in its time." Games should always be compared against their contemporaries for what they brought new to the table in terms of gameplay, features, graphics, sound, etc. FM2 brought amazing visual customization only rivaled by the likes of Need for Speed Underground/2, Midnight Club 3/DER, etc. FM2 in glorious HD launched at a time when Gran Turismo was stuck in 480P on the PS2 (no, "1080i" mode doesn't count. You need both output resolution *and* texture resolution). If you were a Sony fan (I was), you were stuck with GT4 for 6 whole years. In that time, Xbox saw: FM1, FM2, and FM3. Polyphony was announcing the delay of GT5 around the time we were seeing previews for FM4. GT5 was a bit of a dud, with a confusing interface, short career, and the premium/standard (PS3/PS2) cars all sharing a track. By the time GT6 came around, (fixing most of the issues with GT5), FH1, FM4 and FM5 were released. So, again, GT found itself on last-gen hardware and having released 1 game vs 3. Now, was the Xbone any good? That's a discussion for another day. Would I happily wait thrice as long for games that are even... 1.5x as good? Sure!... but they weren't. Playground and Turn10 were cranking out hit after hit. Still, though... it's hard to argue for "Forza Motorsport" (8) being a B or above game based upon wide-spread reports of absurd bugs. It's hard to argue against Gran Turismo 7 being the *clearly superior* game (minus the "menu" career progression and early ridiculous economy.) It's also hard to make a case for FH5 being anything other than bland and lifeless and with mediocre music (relative to other FH games), The leapfrogging that PS/Xbox have done for their flagship titles is great. It's just a shame that Polyphony spends so long on each game that by the time they come out they're borderline-obsolete (minus GT3 and GT7.) (For reference, I 100%'d GT3, GT4, GT6, FM2, FM3, and FM4. I nearly-100%'d GT5 and completed the career of FM5 and GT7. I don't have too many opinions about FM6, having gotten rather bored with it and skipping FM7 entirely. I never played GT1/GT2 or GT: Sport due to the online nature of Sport.)
FM4 was better than the FMs that followed regardless of nostalgia, only the created liveries were low res, but everything else was better, especially the content.
I still play modern forzas and idek what “microtransactions” you’re talking about. The car packs? Those are paid DLCs and have been around since like 2010, they actually offer you a decent amount of content for like $5 usually
I love y’all as always
Nah man to rate forza 1 and 2 as the lowest is crazy work. We all know the order should be 5,8,1,6,7,2,3,4

Worst to best, I’d say: 8, 1, 2, 7, 5, 6, 3, 4.
skyrim theme in background hits different
The FM6 intro will have a special place in my heart until the day i die
Motorsport 4 is still absolutely the best. Gotta give 5 some credit though for still looking better than the newest one!
Motorsport 4 is the goat
any of yall remember forza motorsport 6 Apex? Dont know if its still on the microsoft store, but it was basically a tuned down 6 for free

You can still like 5 even if you played 4. Yeah, it’s not as good, but it’s a solid experience and still looks absolutely beautiful.

Markyyyy😁

Best: FM4, no dispute. Worst: FM8, obviously, it's a demo disc and full of bugs.
BOOST!!!
In summary, "Forza 1 was the worst of all of them, it didnt even have micro-transactions. What a joke."
