It’s amazing how he could make such a messed up death obsessed, sadistic, pervy traitor actually lovable. Any other actor would not have been able to portray that character so convincingly. I would so be there for every episode of Yabu grunting his way through London/Europe with Blackthorn if the story had gone there.
It's hard to say who's the best actor among all these. They all did an excellent job propelling the story forward. I've got a soft spot for Yabushige/Tadanobu, the crafty and wily guy who tried to play 4D chess and failed, a morally ambiguous character who could sometimes be counted on to do the right thing. It's a strange character and Tadanobu played it so well.
I loved hearing their process for working in such a period specific time in the Japanese culture. Their collaborative experience has me yearning for that.
It is pofound effect that have for Japanese who luve abroad since we often feel inferior to other counter parts. But this show n recieving a numerous awards, this is the affirmation of what our culture is about. I really appreciate that all of them tried capture what our cuture was all about. Not stereotypical persona.
I think for all it was a great experience to be in that's years of Samurai and bring to us to know how they live. They are a great actors, producer, Director. And this serie is going to win a lot awards. Congratulation to all of you ❤❤❤❤❤
Hiroyuki Sanada is amazing in anything he’s in. I love his humbleness here and how he speaks highly of his costars. He seems like a very classy guy

Tadanobu-San's acting in the film was the most fun, unique and authentic one in the movie.
