I agree Phase, LO such a great set. Only issue I had was that the Tina I pulled is incredibly OC. I bought 5 or 6 of the Pikachu TG cards. Any card with Ash and Pikachu will be highly sought for years to come. This was the first set that I had to complete the Trainer gallery which naturally snowballed into every TG GG card into a section of my binder. Love showing of all the Trainer and Gallerian Gallery cards to people that also collect.
All these popular pokemon trainer gallery cards are undervalued. Pull rates for that gengar and charizard are similar to the pull rates of stellar crowns squirtle and bulbasaur, and they are about 10% of the price. The art isn’t as cool and the yellow borders hurt them but no reason these shouldn’t be 10 or 15 dollar cards. Same for the eeveelution cards from brilliant stars.
Ik it sounds crazy but it’s much easier for a $400 box to go to $800 than it is for a $150 box to go to $300. Simply because by the time that box is worth $400 the supply has shrunk by so much that doubling is no longer as hard as it was when the product was readily available. I just picked up a giratina PSA 10 for $685, paid only a little more than what I paid for my gengar at $660.
