At the start of the video, it was giving a vibe of trying to find the record store but you’re inescapably stuck in Bed Bath & Beyond!?
Did you buy that UK "Aftermath" ? You might have one already.. you should see my last dig, and we just got back from Bangkok ! Did some record buying at one very cool shop in Old Town. Cheers, and nice vid for sure !

I love your tours of these shops especially this one with that display wall (STP, Soundgarden, Mad Season!). That particular shop doesn’t have an online presence so I’m always itching to go in there and see what they have. Thanks for another great video VG!

Love the small, highly curated shops - that one looks 🔥🔥!! I still have a Portland - Seattle - Vancouver road-trip/digging trip on my bucket list, and like that I could get Canada on the list where I have bought records.

Is that self care products too? Cool place. Nice atmosphere. Clean and organized. I spied the runaways and sound garden on the wall. I have a uk og aftermath as well. You really have to hit the tip toes to get to the back of those rows, don’t you?

You actually cant because of the essential oils in the air. LOL Plus they seal the records with those sticky sleeves
@@TheVinylGuru Hahaha! Dang it! They're ruining one of the best aspects of records; the SMELL. Records satisfy four our of the five senses (and sometimes one's sixth sense too). :)

They are higher. These type of places are bc they are so well curated and cleaned, etc.

You wouldn't even know that Token (Gift Shop) and The Tiny Record Shop had any records at all if one just entered the place seeing all of those bath and beauty products. What a hidden honey hole that store is. :)
Yeah but youd hate the prices. Places like this are $$$$. Knowing your deal hunt energy you wouldnt be too thrilled by that.

9:27 I'm a huge soundtrack collector, Christina. In fact, I used to be known as "The Soundtrack King" at an animation studio where I worked and I have at least 1,000 soundtracks on CD, but also about 400 or more on LP. :)

@@TheVinylGuru When I was a kid, I would study the bands on those covers and I knew they were going to be bad ass. Almost every one of those sessions blow away the stuido versions of the songs.
