Looked like a rarer pressing of Whipped Cream in nice shape, so 10$ not excessive, quite collectable now. Martin more 1$ than 2$. Talk Talk not bad at 10$. As a dealer I'm often intrigued by records vastly over or under priced in stores.

I think you’re right. You cannot fully judge based on a few prices. But it is a good indicator. May not be worth a deep dive. Bug sometimes places like this have a grail or two one might be willing to pony up for. There was a store set up like that in Portland. Each genre had its own wing. Was near a great sandwich shop too. They made their own potato chips in house. Fresh. While you waited for your sandwich.

Funny coincidence : last weekend I bought that Talk talk album - ”It’s my life” , you snagged from the first crate you flipped thru , and yesterday I bought the Adam & the ants - ”Kings of the wild frontier” you flipped by 10 seconds later. You need to dig deep. I found a perfect tubular bells and Its a Beautiful Day for a dollar. It was awesome. Looks like a neat place. I’m guessing a nice variety? What did tou find??

I'm glad i stopped collecting vinyl back in 2013 & kept my focus on CD's. At those prices i'm not surprised CD's are making a comeback & soon all these indie record stores will go out of business. 😆$250 for a Sex Pistols bootleg.

I've visited this store and found a few vintage gems, but most of the inventory was new, which isn't necessarily a bad thing depending on who the customer is. I have also found a lot of great albums at Dead Parrott Records which is just down the road from BJ's.

Hi Guru 🌞 ! Love the Mad Season disc & have the Deluxe cd reissue. The original vinyl is 3 sides & probably sounds great & is around $400 USD 💵. That's high but 1K is crazy high ! Gotta save some money for food 😋
