Hello Mark, I loved this video... You definitely seem very genuine in speaking of the traits that are clearly of your own... It's plain to see you have a good and pure heart, with a strong mind as well... And I have to say that you are absolutely adorable... Very easy on the eyes for sure. Much love and respect... 🇨🇦💜🇯🇲
I'd love to find a Jamaican man to marry. Im in the U.S. but I'd like to find someone around my age. Any advice on finding a Jamaican man for dating and marriage? Thank you. 💖🇯🇲
I love my Jamaican man.... there is good and bad in every culture. I dated a bad Jamaican before he was crazy possessive, jealous, abusive.. man oh man it was toxic. But this one!!!! Has me on my knees thanking God. He’s hardworking, sweet, healthy family background, no kids.. ahhh I finally found my future husband.
Every culture has both bad men and good men. Hard working Handy man YES wonderful...something I really like. I love outdoor life, family and friends but I also like stay own home and yard reading books and watch movie...if man wants to go football, drink something with friends no problem...I like self-employer things work myself why not men too...supportive is important both ways...but I am not so out going I prefer couple time and friends family visiting eating own yard playing music...Blessings
I'm new here. I am in a relationship with my first full blooded island raised Jamaican man. So far, I'm starting to love him. He cooks for me and makes sure I'm okay, me and my daughter. He's very sweet to me. I'm hoping we move forward and nothing changes, but only gets better. Jamaican men are some beautiful beings frfr 🖤✨
Iam African American. I have been with my Jamaican husband for 26 years He’s loving and sweet, very hard working .has a little bit of a temper ,but he’ll walk off Iam very happy with him .now dealing with his mother is another story
Lol that’s wonderful to hear and yes a lot of mothers are over protective of their adult sons but dont let that come between both of you enjoy and thanks for the support.
@@Junior2uu can you tell me more about the Jamaican Moms? This lady is very over bearing of her son and we just starting dating so it’s turning me off.
Am Jamaican and listen we not so crazy like the African or other traditional countries your man with put her in her place if he manly enough tell her to back off as ur feeling uncomfortable period or even you just the fact we don’t play here honey with nobody respect due but from u messing around out the head or even the tail go were no non sense ppl better yet
Bullshit!!!. Not all Jamaican men are handy. I hate when people generalize and post shit like this. Find someone who will respect, love, and care for you irrespective of nationality. I am Jamaican, and will date whoever meets the standard and expectations I am looking for. Stop the madness!!
NadZ DaughteroftheKING it's clear that I'm speaking for the ones who are like this and not e everyone in general I don't understand why you angry women are so mad at my video if you don't like it move on I said what I've said.
NadZ DaughteroftheKING this is what gets people into to trouble all the time with Jamaican men. They see the foolishness and exploit it. Many men will be willing to play the role.
NaturallyNeicey7575 1. I didn't grow up in an abusive home. 2. I never beat any woman and neither did my friends. My question is to you America men don't abuse women?? And use them??
Mark Plunkett #JVLOGS Most of these females bashing jamaican men like other men from other countries prefect. Alot of these American men love to beg and try play u. nobody is perfect not giving up jamaican men for nothing
I’m Jamaican and I never put my hands on my gf I never used her either I always treat her with respect and like a queen and I’m loyal to her I don’t cheat 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
@@plpcg This could be said for any culture I have known some Jamaican men who are respectful like myself. I do not tolerate men being abusice be it physical or verbal. Heck I have dated American women who behave like they allergic to water ewwwwww!!!!!
I am from the UK my parents are Jamaican. I would love to meet a nice Jamaican man who is not desperate to leave the country. Why cant I meet someone who said come and live with me in Jamaica? or is impartial? Many of my friends have married Jamaican men and brought them to the UK and it has been a disaster for them because all they wanted was a ticket to the UK. Men like those I would find it very hard to trust. I do know some that have worked out as a true love match but those are rare. There must be some Jamaican men who do not want to live abroad, where are they?? My Dad is the loveliest Jamaican man, faithful, humble, respectful hard working and kind. He can cook clean sew, jack of all trades around the house like decorating and fixing things etc. He has also been successful in terms of coming over to England and doing well for himself by hard work. He is proud and would never beg any one for money (especially a woman). Don't get me wrong theres nothing wrong with coming over here or abroad but I have a problem with those that pretend that they want to marry just for a ticket out of Jamaica, thats not fair if that is the case at least be honest about it.
Womanmad hello thank you for watching my video. Now I must say that you already have the answer to you question but let me elaborate for a minute, as you know England is a well established country far better than Jamaica at one point the resources that we once had was sent to England to build that country and that left us in a bad position. Now we want the opportunity just like everyone else to make life better for our families and eventually create our own just life your father did. Not all Jamaican men are bad some genuinely love there women just like you stated and some move on. Now you can’t expect a struggling man on Jamaica minimum wage to take care of you and created a family he will want to opportunity to come to England and earn enough to take care of you so that’s one reason why if he and his Jamaica girlfriend can migrate he would so if someone from a better country want him why not help him if you love him??? You can’t look at it from a negative stand point cause that’s the only thing you will expect even if the guy is good you already judge him as bad and that’s sad, you say you find it hard to trust if that’s the case just stick to Jamaican who are already in England you can find love there if that’s what you truly want so you won’t have the issue and brining over a Jamaican man I hope this helps.
@@Junior2uu True what you are saying and I understand that, but its difficult to know who is really genuine. My uncle came over here in the 70s but he loves Jamaica so much, he didn't stay here for long he went back and made it in Jamaica and is living very comfortable. On the other hand my aunt who is Jamaican came here in the 60s married a genuine man and they have been married for 20 years she brought him over they bought a house and sold it and went back to live in Jamaica it worked for them. Men like that you don't mind. Its not as though my friends did not try to help these workless cheating men and give them a chance. I know some that have given 3 chances meaning 3 different relationships with Jamaican men but it never worked out. I don't consider foreign women biased but some stupid people burn their bridges. I would be very wary.
I understand but as i said if you want to be happy find a Jamaican man in England and just be happy there. You have to be real with yourself jamaica is hard so if someone getting a job overseas they will take it and I've seen Europeans leave their country go to England for a better life better job and all so if you truly like someone, then you would work with them and help them out of their situation. What works for others won't necessarily work for you. so it goes both ways so you can't just look at it as you just doing for him only, one hand clap the other at all times we all need help in some way shape or form.
Glasme M Roye lol you need to continue doing your research if you thought it was that easy. My recommendation for you is to 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Just started dating a Jamaican man. He is a hard worker. He is romantic. He is business-minded just like me. This sounds good, but I don't get the part about him getting dressed to go out. Wherever my man goes to party-I'll be right there with him partying beside him. My guy is not into the nightlife--homebody but I enjoy him--just being right there in his arms. We are both the same age so we like a lot of the same things. I just don't know if in the future I can retire in Jamaica away from my family. Already said he's in love with me, and had the nerve to ask me if it was too soon to say it. I told him yes, too soon. I don't think he's lying tho. He has already talked engagement, ring size--makes me so nervous. It will be my second marriage and his 3rd. On another note, my experience visiting Jamaica prior to meeting this man is they are very much after the women and I always feel it is for a green card. Now the ones over here already--I am not so sure. Put your trust in God or whomever you believe to direct your path--not every man of whatever land means you good. Stay prayerful.
hustling is better than a steady income look at it this way no limit to the income stream compared to a 9-5 once that money done you have to wait on another paycheck a hustle the income is unlimited
I just got back from Jamaica on my bday vacation and I met several. Most were my excursion tour guides or taxi, but the one I met , some other ppl Tour Guide at the club was really sweet, we hung out and chilled and he opened up to me on what he had going on. He felt confident in telling me things, he took me to his place and we dance 💃🏾. He was very respectful. I told him the things I got going on as well. With that Tour guiding business, he is extremely busy as you know. He's younger than me, I sometimes wonder do he think I'm out of his league. I get this feeling. I dont know I could be wrong, I like him and told him will be back to visit. Not sure where it would go if anywhere
Thanks for this video. Helps me to understand how Jamaican men are. I've been chatting with one for 3months. He so humble and loving. Makes me ify because he so sweet. He tells me to open my heart to him. He wants to marry and so do I but not yet. I need more time getting to know him. He tells me love don't have a time frame. I'm African American. He lives in South Carolina. He talking to visit me in November. I'm excited and afraid. I do pray and so does he. Ladies please give a update on ur visit to Jamaica. I want to hear know things going for u whom posted over a year ago😉
Neicy Nunnery Happy I can help but as you say it’s 3 months take your time to build the relationship. But being sweet don’t mean it’s a bad thing sometimes we allow our past to affect our future instead of taking that brace step forward. Good luck to you and thanks to the support
@@Junior2uu yes I know what u saying. It's possible because I'm humble and loving myself. Just seem so unreal..I think I need to spend time with him also to really connect.
I'm married to a Jamaican. He is definitely respectful, but not a jack of all trades, he is hardworking and provides for us though, he loves fancy clothes and shoes but is no longer a party man (stopped before we met), he isn't a hustler, he is both literally and figuratively strong, and can squat 500lbs!
My Jamaican man asked me to marry him we only met through a dating app and we are trying to figure out what we need to do my concern is he has a business asked for money to get his visa claim he had to get his son stuff I won’t send not nothing we know each other just not comfortable with that I feel if he wants to get here he will do it on his own
hello thanks for the comment you have to do whats best for you in this situation if you feel its best to not pay for his visa follow your gutt feeling good luck.
This video was dead on. I love Jamaican men, although they all are not the same. I would say that these 5 tips goes for dating all men, we should support our men!!
Tiffany Davis Aww you're welcome and thank you I'm happy you took something from it and something positive some of us are really sweet. Thanks for watching.
Ty. I'm in America dating an island Man. Ilyallllllll🥰🥰🥰 I've learned so much and still a I'm working on the spices and seasonings now. I'm a good American cook. He hates American food and what we put in our food so he's teaching me and I. Loving it. Thx for this video sir
Thank you this information is very helpful to me I am currently looking to socialize and or date for the first time with Jamaican men I find them very respectful very hard-working and more trustworthy then some American man
Sheryl Motley You're very welcome most!!! of us are ensure than you find a decent Jamaican guy to date and get to know him and ensure he's honest with you. also ensure that you know what you want and make it clear communication is key also enjoy our culture and way of life as well as food and music, good luck.
I've been dating my Jamaican man for eight months now, im here in the state's and he is there in Jamaica. When we first met he was so sweet and kind. We talked for a month or so then he asked me to be his woman. I told him that he was too young for me as he is, he said that age was just a number to him and that he prefers older women because women his age in Jamaica play too many games and will only be with him if he can give them something. I told him that I would be his friend so we talked and he text and he called me every day. He asked me to install what's app as it would be better for him to talk to me so I did. I quickly fell for him because he was very sweet, kind and caring. I fell in love with him and he again asked me to be his woman and I agreed. We were doing very good and things were going great between us. I am very possessive when it comes to my man and I can be very jealous as well. So noticed that he would be texting other people while he was texting me so I'd ask him who he was texting and he would get angry with me. Then things started to change, we begin to argue a lot and he would curse me out. Then he would text me like nothing had happened. He introduced me to his family members and I began to talk with his grandmother (as she is the one who raised him) on the phone she calls me and I call her at least twice a week. Then in July of this year i sent him $150. 00 for his birthday so that he could enjoy himself and he cheated on me. I found out because he sent me a pic of him in the outfit that he bought for his birthday and I saw a passion mark on his neck. So I asked him who put it there and he said that he payed for a hoe and I was furious. I said to him ( you used my hard earned money to buy a nasty hoe?) Then he said that it was his ex that put it there. I believe his first answer because he said that his ex left him because he had no money. As you can imagine I was deeply hurt... I told him that I was done with the relationship. He said that he was high and drunk and that he made a mistake but he never apologized for doing it. He continued to curse me out whenever we'd argue, I remember him telling me that I get on his nerves and calling me names like idiot, blood clot and saying that I have no sense. I've been sending him money to help him out every now and again and we still argue only he doesn't curse at me anymore because I told him that I didn't want to be in a relationship with someone who is verbally abuses to me. We get into an arguments because he always thinks that I am talking to other guys online and I'm not. He is the one talking to other females. Even though he says that he has no other females to talk to... I know that hes lying because he gets extremely angry when I ask him who else is he texting while he texting me. I try to break up with him because I'm tired of being hurt from the way that he treats me and im tired of arguing but he won't leave me alone. I uninstalled what's app but he just calls and text my phone until I answer then he ask me why am I always trying to let go. I just recently told him that I know that he doesn't love me because he hardly talks to me now and he doesn't call anymore. He says that he doesn't like talking on the phone. he just doesn't pay any mind to what I've said to him because I tell him that I need time to myself to hurt and get pass this and he said I have a funeral to go to before Ican come to be with you. It's like he blocks out anything that I say that has to do with me ending the relationship. He always acts like nothing has happened, he text the next day as if everything is good and when we're done texting he says luv u but never I love you, like I do. Honestly I think he's just using me and I've been trying to let go and just be his friend but he holds on. he's very jealous or at least he acts like it because he yells at me with extreme anger when he thinks that I'm being unfaithful to him. I don't want to hurt him so I try to work it out because I love him very much. You being a Jamaican man, I really would appreciate your opinion on what you think and what I should do. I'm sorry that this is so long but I really wanted to make sure that you understand what I'm going through. Thank you
troubled heart Hello I want to thank you for watching my video as well as reaching out to me. I going to be very straight forward with you about this issue. Also the advice I give you won't change anything unless you really want to make the change. The situation you explain to me is not a good one as you have stated you're older than this young man and I would assume that you never meet him in person. You say you love him but is it really love or your just comfortable with the way he treats you before the arguments?? You have to understand that people will use you just as much as you allow them to. So Anything that happens you have to take responsibility for it's your actions that cause this and not him. We choose to be naive and stubborn and make excuses. You are wasting yourtime with this young man and stressing yourself and no one can make you stop but you it's simple no one is forcing you. You know what you need to do let this go if not your going to be right back where you started. So let It go there's nothing there for you point blank.
It sounds like you never met this youngster face to face...### Why are you torturing yourself and spending your hard earned money on someone you don't know.. There are a lot of good Jamaican men right here. Sounds like you wanna pay to bring a bag of trouble for yourself..
Orsan Jordan sweet heart, walk away. I met my husband through his family, who is amazing and I thought because he came from a good upbringing I wouldn't have to worry about the lying and cheating. We dated long distance for two years before we got married. He was sweet and kind during those times. I sponsored him and supported him with his dreams. Helped to build him up and all that wonderful bull only to have him leave me while I was three months pregnant with our third child for one of the women he's been cheating on me with. Ten years later, I'm filing for divorce, left to raise our sons pretty much on my own while he lives with another woman and asking to come back home. Take heed.
wow that was completely on point. My husband is from the carribbean not Jamaica but I imagine the culture is similar because I couldn't have described it better myself. We've been together 6 years and this is true except I'd say the very last part I might be a little weak compared to him..emotionally, physically and so on were pretty different but I guess in my own way I am strong. This video is good because it went beyond the cliches and stereotypes.
pretty and young That’s really nice I’m happy you enjoy the video I try best to speak the truth and share my experience as best as I can. I keep it honest
Chase Banks does he live in Jamaica? And do you live abroad? LOL if he lives in Jamaica you live a broad. They’re such thing as fake love he probably has seven baby mother how many girlfriends and is soon as you get off the phone SMH is a whole different world for him. Meanwhile you’re staying loyal and faithful to somebody who probably aim to you. What I learned about Jamaican man is they are very sneaking and they were bold face lie and cry to ur face 🤷🏽♀️But good luck girl try to keep some of your money in your pocket
I loved this I just married a Jamaican and you described us all the way down to a tee. I have a question. I truly believe he is faithful to me. we video chat all day but besides that I don't go past 100 days without visiting at least a month at a time. my question is. I'm terrified that once he come here and see how aggressive and disrespectful American women can be, how can I get passed that how do I keep him from straying
Miranie Desameau Congrats I'm happy for both of you, and your regular visits will help the relationship to grow while you are apart. but it is hard to prevent anyone from straying weither it be man or woman. it's good to have trust in a relationship. Also don't be too jealous and pressure your partner take your time to get to know him more as he gets to know you that will help alot but I wish you all the best.
Me Me De Jamaican man! there's nothing you can do to keep him from stop him from starting ..its in his blood. Dem bawn unda pumpum tree. Very unfortunate but true. Plus Jamaican culture glorifies men having lots of women and cheating. No matter how often you visit or video chat he's getting it somewhere else..might even have a whole other relationship or baby mother who knows about you but she won't mind as much, as long as she gets money....just be prepared and don't be too gullible. Don't let him see desperation in you. It's a gamble. There are probably 10 out of a million who'll remain faithful. Hopefully yours is one of them. Good luck
Helpful video I’m an African American woman (28) and I’m dating an Jamaican man from Portmore Jamaica (40) yea lil age gap but he’s a very hard working caring man, but I was curious about the stereotypes lol! But we are going to Jamaica in May to meet his sisters (he has 13😰) but we’ve been dating for a year now and he hadn’t showed any of the bad stereotypes lol
That's very sweet, yep we are good people and yes i have a lot of uncles lol my grandmother on my mom side gad 10 children and on my father side i lost count but its a lot. Now a days its been we plan more and have less kids its nice that you're building a relationship continue to do so and learn each other plan and make it work thanks for watching and sharing your story.
If he hasn't shown any of the bad signs, dont look for it or worry about it. At the end of the day nobody is perfect. If he is taking you to see his family back home, he is very serious about you. Best believe. The nice little age gap might be healthy for the relationship. Good luck.
I'm in a relationship with an handsome hardworking really respectful and dedicated jamaican king. He's exactly how you describe, there's some strong mothers beside thoses well raised man. Yes there's some players but from my experience and other womans experiences around me jamaican can definitely be faithful and honest.
Lakita Butler how did you guys meet. I've been talking to a Jamaican guy for 4 months now he lives in Jamaica. I will be visiting in October for a few days.
There is good and bad man every where. Being in relationship means just like buying a lottery. When you buy lottery you know it's a chance that you might win. Same thing it's a chance that you might end up with good man with a lots of blessings! Just pray about it!
im betroved in marriage with a Jamacian American I am a Hebrew American. He gets angry if I send him little notes via texting off and on throughout the day. I do not understand where the anger is coming from. He has had bad experience with Jamacian women who faked loving him and cheated on him.
That is weird i suggest that you talk to him about it and really get a better understanding of him mental space maybe that will help you to understand his frustration
Mark Plunkett #JVLOGS Oh, it's ALL you because most Jamaican men are not at all as you described. They used to be like that but not anymore. Very few (the ones raised in intact families with both mother and father, mostly in the country) are like that now.
GreatWall OfMexico I have to disagree with you not having both parents does not mean you will come out better I was raise by my mother I don’t hit women or abuse them it all comes down to who you really are. In those stable homes as you perceive them to be most times there is abuse and the kids see that mom can’t leave so she stay and the kids see that as the norm so to say people who grow up with both parents is better I disagree.
Mark Plunkett #JVLOGS You are SO right! It was just my prejudice speaking. You are a very beautiful Jamaican man and it's apparent that you were raised by and with a lot of love. God bless you. I pray that you will fine tune your film making skills and begin to show all the world positive portrayals of Jamaican men in ways that will inspire my beloved country people to get back on track with the high self-esteem and loving way our culture taught them to be and not this disgraceful thirty children with twenty different baby mamas trend popularized by Bob Marley.
GreatWall OfMexico Trying my best and I try to be as fair as possible with being bias but I get where you coming from thanks for the feedback and comments I appreciate it you can also support my effort in getting a new camera here’s my GoFundMe link www.gofundme.com/can-you-help-me-get-a-better-camera?pc=ot_co_dashboard_a&rcid=97cd575a33434e488a284043b40d6bf9

I think the responses to the comments provides the alternate if not more realistic view most people were asking about...IE Jamaican men, as all men, are capable of disrespecting women. Read the comments ladies before you suck this up with a straw.
I was talking to a Jamaican man a few times then never heard from him for a year then out of the blue he writes me again then in a few days he asks if I can buy him a Van to use as a taxi, so I’m thinking I don’t know if I can trust him, he acting like he loves me so much I have never met him in person
Sounds like to me Jamaican men love and want alot of things that I have been put down for by some African American men. Hmmmm. Nice! Love this vid. Had to sub, like and comment. Love your personality❤ and the fact you spoke where I could understand you! Cool stuff!
Would love to meet a good, trustworthy, sexy Jamaican man who's an entrepreneur so we go into business together! Then i can move there and start a new life with my sexy black king! No gyalis , bad man or worthless users! lol
In order to have you need to build a good relationship and also have that same mindset have your plans just like he would have his and work towards them but i hear this all the time i want this and i want that but are you really willing to put in the work to get all of that??? the truth is alot of women live in fantasy land and it's sad, when they play a fool of themselves and turn around blaming Jamaican men.
Ms Entrepreneur lol Good luck! Good luck! Even people’s mothers nowadays is taking their money and using it for their own business and not doing what they say they’re doing with it. So good luck! LOL
This was a good video. I am an African American woman and I have been talking to a Jamaican man for 4 months. I will be visiting Jamaica in a couple of months. He seems really nice and I'm just hoping that he doesn't turn out to be the stereotype that in on Jamaican men from women here in America, but I'm willing to give love a try. Thanks for the tips. It was helpful. My Jamaican guy lives in Jamaica. We video chat and talk a lot. We have not met in person. But I'm looking forward our visit together.
Dorothy S That's very nice of you love is everywhere and who knows you might just fall in love, but I would prefer both of you stand in love and be real forget about the fairy tails stuff. Understand who he is and he should do the same with you learn him as he learn about you bond go with acceptance and an open mind it's two different cultures, life styles, struggles and more it's the real world so go with an open mind and try your best to enjoy your self and your boyfriend. Experiences last a lifetime!!!! Those are the things we hold on to so good luck again and thanks for watching and leaving a feedback.
Jessica Colbourne So are you saying only Jamaican men cheat? Let me ask you this do women cheat?? Females always make a meal of things and act like women don't cheat too or even American men pick your battles be wise.
Amonee Mathis Lol that's good ensure that you come with an open mind toward us and the culture apart from that we are good people thanks for watching remember to give it a thumbs up thanks again
Bless up yourself! Respect for the video! However, everyone is different; there is good and bad in everyONE! I was with a Jamaican for 9 years! My story could definitely be a novel and nominated for #1Best Seller! :)
Mine can never talk at night his phone is always charging. Hes asked for phone credit and for me to get him a car but I shut it down. We only text call n facetime but hes stopped asking for money. Hes so sweet now very charming and sweet and handsome. He wants me to come over there but I'm not I told him to.come here. Hes from spanish town.yes hard to let go cause his charm is on 100. I was skeptical so I did started talking to another one he got upset cause he said his phone would be out of service friday I accused him of having company and that this is why he said it so hes pissed and said he added a 2 day plan on his phone just to talk to me and that no one is to his house but because I accused him he said let's give the relationship 4 days then we can pick up where we left...... Advice please
Elegant Lady I’m really not sure what to say to be honest it seem like both of you need to get past the old bagged before going into a new relationship the last thing you both want to do is start a toxic relationship. Things can become unstable real fast so just get to know each other some more then make a decision from there.
Thank you for the tips! These were great! I know Jamaican men can be stubborn, I have one I’m interested in & let me be honest, this is a love at first sight situation. The man watch everything I do along with the help of his friends. We see each other at a Caribbean club every weekend and he is VERY shy!!! It’s been a year since I’ve been dealing with this. He is shy to approach me, so we basically haven’t talked or made a move to date yet. I’ve actually been waiting for him. I just feel like he will be the one I marry. This is a highly spiritual connection. So tell me, I’m half Jamaican and I know for a fact that this is not the typical behavior. Did this man fall in love??? I appreciate this because it gives me great discipline. What do you suggest or advise??
Aww, that's really nice as a woman there are a few things you can do men are shy, to be honest, most of us but you can drop signals to make him know that you like him as well and maybe he will approach you if he's taking too long then you can make the move and say hello to him and start a conversation and see where it goes from there good luck.
@@Junior2uu oh gosh idk I’m shy too! I’ve never made the first attempt on a guy. My father always said that men were created to hunt..so I don’t feel comfortable making the first move. I don’t mind saying hello though. Thanks for responding! 😊
Great video! I've had both good and bad experiences with Jamaican men. However, some of the ones I dated were more romantic, loving, caring, and hardworking than the Canadian men I have dated.
@@mariahsneed3445 Girl lol well I just start dating one, but I'm used to being with African men.lol this one is very caring, loving, down to earth @somewhat jealous we shall see I will be there in February 2019..
Hi! Love from South Carolina, the U.S. Hoping to travel to Jamaica one-day... It's my dream place! You're absolutely amazing! I love all of your videos and your accent! Stay amazing and loving!
Thank you love, I appreciate you so much for your honesty... I actually broke up with him today and he was very calm and said that he was in love with me and wanted to come here at the end of the month. I'm not going to allow him to stay with me when he comes. I can't stop him from coming but I can stop him from staying with me. God bless you sweetheart, have a blessed day. Thank you again.
@@Junior2uu we all know the positive..but the negitive out wear them and if your telling the truth dont do bits do everything...and your really not saying anything different...
I reckon if you can find a Jamaican man who is not substance abusing, you have a reasonable chance of a lasting relationship. My long term Jamaican ex smoked dope (as did I for a while) cheated, was afraid of work and was violent. Serious stuff especially as we had two sons. He is still trying to restore a relationship with me almost 30 years on.
ms. hart Wow that’s sad to hear most Jamaica man don’t smoke it take drugs it’s just a few and the most they will do is smoke weed or drink some beer or rum there’s always a few that do step out of the line tho but taking drugs don’t equate to having a healthy or toxic relationship it’s just the person and how they are that determines that.
I just started talking to a 60 yr old Jamaican he is sweet an loves to cook for me but he is scared to try different things he still wants to stay in or rather scared to do or try different things...OH SO THERE STUBBORN???
lashaa Wiley yes most of us are stubborn and stuck on our own ways especially older folks that’s just the sad reality but keep trying and show him that it can be fun sometimes you just have to push us a little bit for us to move. Good luck to you.
I'm seeing a Guyanese man and he's starting to change. Made promises to me and my kids and followed through on pretty much nothing. I know Guyana is not Jamaica but isn't the Caribbean pretty much the same? He told me I'm too passionate and he thinks I love him more than he loves me.a
Daksiezo we are similar but not the same no one person is the same so try to get rid of that mind set people will be people with similar attributes and you have to ensure that you look for the red flags and that’s a red flag anyone that tell you that you are too passionate and loving them more, clearly not giving you their all so be careful.
Sheryl Motley it's all about getting the right one am jcan and I'll be the first to tell u that we can be way better and way worst than what ur used to lol
My boyfriend is from Jamaica and I’m from London uk we are in a long distance relationship but he’s the nicest guy I ever met wow didn’t know you could fall in love with someone so far away from u lol
I was in love with a Jamaican woman in the states until I found out she was gay 😒 I should have dated her sister who wanted me first...but I felt she was too young.
From my personal experience when I first start speaking to my partner 2years ago, i used to compared our relationship to past experiences and he did say that he didn't like that .... No comparison Encouragement Motivation Like to be appreciated for their intellectual more than their body .xxx
NO ONE MAN CAN SPEAK/REPRESENT FOR ALL. MEN ARE ALL DIFFERENT -THERE'S GOOD & BAD IN EVERY CULTURE ...SO STOP STEREOTYPING.. .THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS ARE POINTLESS...
Gina how am I stereotyping anything when I specifically speak on the positive aspect of my culture and it the negative which I made a video about. Anyhow thanks for watching in fact you contradict yourself by saying this video is pointless when you are debating the points I made in said video there is a reason for everything so with that said have a happy new year enjoy subscribe and share for more bless up.
Perhaps you should consider making a balanced video. I always said I would NEVER marry a Jamaican man ...then I met one and regretted it. I blocked him and he changed his number and came with a mouth full of lies. Happy for all those whose story is different
That’s how life is sometimes we have to learn in order to grow many of us have been through rough patches with people from different backgrounds and cultures but we just Have to pick ourselves up and go again.
Remember to give the video a thumbs up please, feel free to leave a comment and subscribe for more thank you all.
I love my Jamaican man
Hello Mark, I loved this video...

See look at that there's good and bad in every culture and now you find your king i wish you all the best enjoy and thanks for the comment.
Are you still together?
Every culture has both bad men and good men. Hard working Handy man YES wonderful...something I really like. I love outdoor life, family and friends but I also like stay own home and yard reading books and watch movie...if man wants to go football, drink something with friends no problem...I like self-employer things work myself why not men too...supportive is important both ways...but I am not so out going I prefer couple time and friends family visiting eating own yard playing music...Blessings

Hi Keisha
I'm new here. I am in a relationship with my first full blooded island raised Jamaican man. So far, I'm starting to love him. He cooks for me and makes sure I'm okay, me and my daughter. He's very sweet to me. I'm hoping we move forward and nothing changes, but only gets better. Jamaican men are some beautiful beings frfr 🖤✨
Kee gold awww that’s really wonderful to hear ensure that you treat him with love and care support him as he supports you good luck to you both.
Iam African American. I have been with my Jamaican husband for 26 years
He’s loving and sweet, very hard working .has a little bit of a temper ,but he’ll walk off
Iam very happy with him .now dealing with his mother is another story
Lol that’s wonderful to hear and yes a lot of mothers are over protective of their adult sons but dont let that come between both of you enjoy and thanks for the support.

Not all Jamaican men are handy and hardworking.
Mia Lui Yup and not all American, Canadian and British woman are hard working
Bullshit!!!. Not all Jamaican men are handy. I hate when people generalize and post shit like this. Find someone who will respect, love, and care for you irrespective of nationality. I am Jamaican, and will date whoever meets the standard and expectations I am looking for. Stop the madness!!

NaturallyNeicey7575 1. I didn't grow up in an abusive home. 2. I never beat any woman and neither did my friends. My question is to you America men don't abuse women?? And use them??

You missed my point, but never mind have a good day.
explain how I missed your point I get your point and I gave you a solution as to avoid all the issue that you brought up.
Thank you for advice as I am dealing with a nice Jamaican man and so glad for this

I’m glad I could help and you’re welcome
My guy is sweet respectful calm disciplined responsible hard worker talented sexy sensitive communicates nicely. I’m African American
Thats really good to hear take good care of him
Just started dating a Jamaican man.
Alright
Women want stability. The hustle isn't steady income
hustling is better than a steady income look at it this way no limit to the income stream compared to a 9-5 once that money done you have to wait on another paycheck a hustle the income is unlimited

His full of bs, girl that's who they r lie to get anything they want. Girl N a green card him a look
Jessica Colbourne. That's exactly what it sounds like.
Take heed.
Your very handsome and intelligent.

wow that was completely on point.

Chase Banks That’s wonderful it’s good to hear good news not all of us are bad.
Hmmmmmmmmm I was truly believe in faith of my Jamaican man until he put a new born baby in Jamaica....so be careful
Good luck
As long as you are feminine you will be fine.

There is good and bad man every where. Being in relationship means just like buying a lottery. When you buy lottery you know it's a chance that you might win. Same thing it's a chance that you might end up with good man with a lots of blessings! Just pray about it!
Sole Be This is very true thank you for watching
And that's true there's good and bad everywhere
Very useful advice especially being a British Nigerian dating a full blooded Jamaican man
ThoniThonez Oh wow that's very nice I always thought about dating someone from Africa, and I like Nigerians too very funny People and full of style.
I LOVE MY COUNTRY JAMAICA AND IM NOT THE TYPE TO WANT TO MIGRATE. PLUS I LOVE MY CUSTOMERSI COOK FOR. JUST WANT A FEMALE THAT IS LOYAL AND DOWN FOR ME
I definitely understand i hope you find an empress one day.
Great advice and video Mark! Keep up your positive work on your channel!
~NP
+TheNubianPrince8 Thank you man I really appreciate it.
keep up the good work bro... great advice.
im betroved in marriage with a Jamacian American I am a Hebrew American.
Mark, you are 100% talking about yourself. The lucky girl who gets you!!
GreatWall OfMexico lol I do add a Lil bit of myself in there 😂😂😂😂😂
Mark Plunkett #JVLOGS Oh, it's ALL you because most Jamaican men are not at all as you described.

This is the first time I've had a Jamaican man. This is great advice. Thank you😊😊😊😊😊
You're very welcome and i hope you see the first comment that i made good luck alright.
Dont be afraid just be yourself and keep positive alright good luck
I think the responses to the comments provides the alternate if not more realistic view most people were asking about...IE Jamaican men, as all men, are capable of disrespecting women. Read the comments ladies before you suck this up with a straw.
I was talking to a Jamaican man a few times then never heard from him for a year then out of the blue he writes me again then in a few days he asks if I can buy him a Van to use as a taxi, so I’m thinking I don’t know if I can trust him, he acting like he loves me so much I have never met him in person
Oh wow are you going to buy him the Van?
Run to the hills . stay far from him.
Sounds like to me Jamaican men love and want alot of things that I have been put down for by some African American men. Hmmmm. Nice! Love this vid. Had to sub, like and comment. Love your personality❤ and the fact you spoke where I could understand you! Cool stuff!
You’re very welcome I’m happy you understood me well
The one I met , a fast , talking , slick LIAR, then I seen dominating! , it’s awful how he lies. He is soooo gone with the wind.
Sorry to hear
I never had this experience your talkin about with any jamaican man i met in the USA
I guess im just the only one
Maybe you are looking at the wrong guys there's all different types of people so if thats what you prefer to keep looking
You have described my guy to a tee. Thanks for the tips.
LOL
@@kerrychin5756 why are doing this?
Girl they are all the same dnt get fool, yes they are hard working man but LIEEER, N CHEAT OMG
Jessica Colbourne So are you saying only Jamaican men cheat? Let me ask you this do women cheat?? Females always make a meal of things and act like women don't cheat too or even American men pick your battles be wise.
Dorothy Sidney omg! That's all I have to say....
Mark Plunkett #JVLOGS yes the whola unu...stop gwaan like
I'm definitely interested in a Jamaican man right now.
Amonee Mathis Lol that's good ensure that you come with an open mind toward us and the culture apart from that we are good people thanks for watching remember to give it a thumbs up thanks again
I love my Jamaican men, they are the best...
Good luck with them. I hope you find a good one.
Amonee Mathis 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️💯🏃🏻♀️
Bless up yourself! Respect for the video! However, everyone is different; there is good and bad in everyONE! I was with a Jamaican for 9 years! My story could definitely be a novel and nominated for #1Best Seller! :)
Empress Ijah lol that’s true and thank you
Oh wow. Bless u
Elegant Lady awww that’s nice
Shalah Anakha awww that’s good to know a lot of good men out there people just need to be real and honest with themselves.
@@Junior2uu
Exactly! :-)
I love your vedio. Thank you for the info
Wow. This vid is soo helpful and I'm super grateful. I've got a soft spot for Jamaican men.
The perfect match for an African lady..😊😊😊

@@mariahsneed3445 Girl lol well I just start dating one, but I'm used to being with African men.lol this one is very caring, loving, down to earth @somewhat jealous we shall see I will be there in February 2019..
Hi! Love from South Carolina, the U.S. Hoping to travel to Jamaica one-day... It's my dream place! You're absolutely amazing! I love all of your videos and your accent! Stay amazing and loving!
Paula Gaffney Awww thats so sweet thank you my jellybean means alot
Mark Plunkett #JVLOGS thank you for replying!
Anytime
Thank you love, I appreciate you so much for your honesty... I actually broke up with him today and he was very calm and said that he was in love with me and wanted to come here at the end of the month. I'm not going to allow him to stay with me when he comes. I can't stop him from coming but I can stop him from staying with me. God bless you sweetheart, have a blessed day. Thank you again.
troubled heart You're very welcome keep safe
Why aren't you saying the lie cheat use head on us..yes they do all that at the beginning
Delorse Chambers I prefer not to highlight the negatives like other channels instead on the positives
I would love to date a jamaican man, where can I find one in Louisiana?
thats nice but im not sure
New Orleans got plenty of them
I just started talking to a 60 yr old Jamaican he is sweet an loves to cook for me but he is scared to try different things he still wants to stay in or rather scared to do or try different things...OH SO THERE STUBBORN???
lashaa Wiley yes most of us are stubborn and stuck on our own ways especially older folks that’s just the sad reality but keep trying and show him that it can be fun sometimes you just have to push us a little bit for us to move. Good luck to you.
Gurl, Gud luck! 🙌🏽😐
This video made perfect sense. Thankyou!!

Jace Official what's that??
I'm seeing a Guyanese man and he's starting to change. Made promises to me and my kids and followed through on pretty much nothing. I know Guyana is not Jamaica but isn't the Caribbean pretty much the same? He told me I'm too passionate and he thinks I love him more than he loves me.a
Daksiezo we are similar but not the same no one person is the same so try to get rid of that mind set people will be people with similar attributes and you have to ensure that you look for the red flags and that’s a red flag anyone that tell you that you are too passionate and loving them more, clearly not giving you their all so be careful.
Ty . great advice
You're welcome
I love my Jamaican man
Tiffany Williams lol that's good thanks for watching
Would you suggest that I pay Jamaica a visit I'm so skeptical of some of the Jamaicans that are herethat they may have become Americanized

Mark Plunkett #JVLOGS I will be going to Jamaica to meet him in June I’m very excited
I was in love with a Jamaican woman in the states until I found out she was gay 😒 I should have dated her sister who wanted me first...but I felt she was too young.
Good 2 know! 👍
From my personal experience when I first start speaking to my partner 2years ago, i used to compared our relationship to past experiences and he did say that he didn't like that ....
No comparison

That’s how life is sometimes we have to learn in order to grow many of us have been through rough patches with people from different backgrounds and cultures but we just Have to pick ourselves up and go again.
some nice tips!!
Thank you
I know this is over a year later, but I have one question...how do you feel a Jamaican man should treat us as the mother of this earth?
