Thanks Taevis for doing this type of videos! This is gold, and I’m sure it will help so many of us snowboarders to get better! 🙏

Keep it coming Taevis. I'm looking forward to you breaking down the riding that is yet to come, since you get A LOT better at that point. And just props to you for putting yourself out there like that.

4:40 this story is wild because it's exactly how I snapped my collarbone in half a few years ago. Clipped my heel edge on a slushy takeoff, flipped over backwards, and landed upside down. I had bs 360s down well too before that, but since then bs spins mess with my head so much

Brutal!!! Ya I was scarred by that slam for a long time. Really shook me. And I didn’t break anything. But I know a bunch of ways to avoid it from happening now so it’s not stressful anymore haha

@@SnowboardingExplained at least you weren't seriously hurt! I could do up to back 7s before, but I think I learned from that fall I had bad habits I need to fix. Thanks for the great vids you put out man

Definitely, that fall only happens do to bad habits. Build up the fundamentals and the tricks will come back easier then ever:)

Appreciate this video a lot as someone who's had some gnarly injuries and trying to progress

Stoked to hear that, good on you for overcoming those injuries!
Snowboarding definitely takes a toll on the body

The problem I run into right now is, I can do quite a lot on the snowboard addiction training kits. (Tamp and jib) but I struggle to do even 1/4th of it on snow

That means the snow aspects of the tricks need more work. There’s aspects of rails you can’t train on the gear
