When I was studying that in uni i couldn't comprehend the anguish of that punishment. That might just be the most heartbreaking game ever....

Then when Thanatos came to kill him as orderes by the gods he tricked him and chaines him with his own soul shackles and that caused huge havoc as people couldnt die anymore. Then when they finally killed him he managed to trick Hades and Persephone into bringing him back to life before he finally died of old age. The punishment is supposed to be an karmic irony about pointlessly stalling the inevitable, which was facing death.
I don’t remember ever seeing Miko so angry.

It is, and she realized that later. Which is why she didn't even hold a grudge against the golem by the end of the game, because it was just playing its role. Such a wise baby.

I joined the stream when Miko was doing the F gesture shouting the F word. I though it was the best game ever. And now, I just realize that if she was so upset, it's because it was the second time that Golem broke her, lmao.

Man, that was brutal. I can't even laugh....
i laughed the first few seconds when she panicked, but then i can hear the frustration, anguish, and anger in her voice. damn. this is the kind of game this is. there is always a trap near the end, like the falling platform in only up.
It was from long ago and since deleted, but I saw a clip with Miko (before she was Miko) getting badly scared by a jumpscare link sent to her, like the scary maze kind of scare. She was laughing and having fun and then legit terrified and started crying, shouting "why would you send that" among other things. It was heart breaking, the kind you never want to hear again.
Her scream and cries of frustration here after that golem are not exactly the same, but close. Especially when she said her hands were shaking. What a cruel game. I'm glad she beat it, proves there is an end instead of just torture.

But, for real, when Miko used to have something like this happen in Only Up, or Getting Over It, I found it funny. But when it happens in this game? It breaks my heart, it really makes me feel terrible for Miko.

She's persistent I consider myself to be a little bit better than her at Mario games but I'd never beaten SMB3 until I saw Miko do it first and all because she never gave up

I was watching this live and just broke my heart. I actually feel sad for her, but in the end she finished the game in the same stream. Miko as elite as is will never give up.
Honestly that was brutal but not enough to break the elite. And I find it kinda funny that pon master Mikochi could beat the game while hardcore gamers like Kaela and Korone keep struggling.
Man, I've watched her zenloss many times on Minecraft, but unless I'm forgetting this feels like the most broke I've ever seen Miko when playing a game. I can feel her desire to just scoop her entire PC into a bin and rethink her life. Luckily such rage doesn't last for long, this is the type of thing where if she had quit then, she'd have never been able to bring herself to come back to it. Ruthless.

I hate how games like this look at the snake in GOI and think to themselves "what if that was nearly impossible to predict and reset your progress out of nowhere?"
what I dislike is that they don't have "soft" checkpoints, for example in jump king if you fall you know where you will end up and it's one of a few places. sure there are a few jumps later that can reset you back further but those are known entities.
@@ratchet1freak in jump king you're punished for missing your jump. Sure it's harsh, but the harshness is communicated after you fall 3 screens at the beginning.
In this one you're 'punished' for not knowing. The golem is not even active/standing up until you come close.
@@dariainparka3134 only up also had a few traps like that from the clips I've seen, places that look like they are solid but actually aren't. That isn't fun game design, that's rage bait.
This game also makes it worse by forcing you to chase the boulder down the mountain for several minutes and hoping that it gets stuck somewhere even though the level design made sure it won't.
