The girl, Momo, is actually the main protagonist. At least, more so than the boy. The author said he wants the focus between them to be a 60/40 split or something like that. With Momo being the 60. The opening definitely frames it as if the boy is the main character, but I thing that’s just because of his transformation being a cool think to get people interested. But as the story goes, it’s clear that Momo is the one who gets more focus.

I hate everyone assuming okarun is the main character. They are a well balanced main duo. They both get as much action as the other and they are super cute together.

I LOVED the song that plays after the granny first drops the weenie line and ken starts running. The fast, hectic beat sounds like your heart pumping rapidly in your ears after you are genuinely terrified in real life. This whole first episode was straight gas.

I watched that intro on Crunchy's channel today and instantly fell in love. First with the animation in trailer - dance animations and different styles are just such a pure expression of amazing talent, episode's animation too. Read a few dozen chapters in one day. Man I love modern stuff.

Modern anime are truly kicking ass, most of my favorites right now are animes that spawned in 2020-2024 and it isn’t just recency bias, they’re just actually so damn good. Dandadan, Frieren, Delicious in Dungeon, CSM, JJK, ReZero etc. (I’m sure there’s a lot more lol)

as i have not read the manga people say that if they actually animate the manga properly this anime will be top G in few years, as i also watched bugou street that anime was also really impressive, each season of that anime surpasses the earlier one, so this is the same what i expect from dan da dan , the animation, the story, the comic, everything was perfect and the opening song is just obsession man
