I don't know if you'll see this but I know you're a gun guy so I'll ask anyway, currently looking to pick up my first pistol and I'm looking at the Canik Tp9SFX. Thoughts on it being a good first gun? Cheaper than most Glocks and I've heard it performs better, a competition pistol straight out of the box and a good for home defense and fun at the range. You might not have experience with them though just thought I'd ask lol.

I just bought my first pistol. A glock 19. I was told through sources I trust that its an excellent all around pistol for a first timer. Taken to the range twice now and I'm happy so far. Was $699.

Don't buy it. Theres is bigger chance of an accident in the family than there is of you being robbed and that gun being close enough in the moment to matter.
Atleast promise me to keep it locked away and seperate from ammunition and make damn sure your kids can't get access to it!

Don't get a pistol as your first firearm for personal protection. Look at the S&W M&P FPC or a 12ga longarm. Pistols are advanced systems for those who have many hours of training.

The filmmakers worked with real arms dealers. The tanks used in the film are real and belonged to a Czech trader who was supposed to sell them after filming was finished. Also, more than 3,000 AK-47s used in the film are real because they were cheaper to use than to produce dummies.
The changed name of the trader ship is 'Kono'. It is also the name of the most diamond-rich area of Sierra Leone and of a tribe from this African country.

I don’t know that seems kind of stupid. I grew up with Nerf, guns water, guns, hell even airsoft guns at some point, but I always knew they were not real guns. They’re plastic. They’re bright, yellow and orange with a tip. Guny guy fun fact: when they are walking through the warehouse in Ukraine full of AK's they are actually Polish Vz 58's. it was too expensive to find that many AK's so they chose to use Polish rifles as to an untrained eye or at first glance can be mistaken for AK's. the receiver and dust cover totally gives it away hence why they are stacked with magazines showing and not the receiver.

Common theory I've read, given the position of the table relative to the door, where the mobster was sitting, and how the hitmen didn't wait to see him before pulling their guns out is that that particular mobster either owns that restaurant or has an arrangement with the owner, and that table is specifically reserved for him because the underside of the table has a steel plate in it for specifically this reason.

It used to be that all the money was in the big arms race during the Cold War. Now it's all about exploiting historical conflicts among emerging nations. The big arms race of development is replaced by races of acquisition of arms on both sides of many smaller conflicts. And they can sell arms which are mostly outdated on the global scene, and budget munitions from older stockpiles or the few munitions factories that haven't discontinued their tooling. And budget munitions don't reliably keep. So clients are forced to use up the munitions periodically and replace their stocks, or else it becomes unreliable and renders all the big hardware functionally useless. It's just too easy to get rich keeping impoverished nations in conflict. The money's too good -- there's always gonna be somebody willing to do that job for the right kind of cash.

My wife and I have no plans to have any children due to my chronic and debilitating health issues. However, if I did have kids, I wouldn't want them playing with toy guns either, as I feel it could lead to the thought process that all guns are toys. Some may not agree with that, and feel they can teach their children about gun safety and the difference between real.and toy guns, and that's their prerogative. To each their own.

Blew my mind when I found out that it's easier for the US to leave arms and ammunition in whatever country they're in than transport them back home. Best most recent example is Afghanistan!
Next on the agenda is the recolonization of Africa.

In the end Vitaly got exactly what he deserved. His last despicable act in life was to pull the pin on a grenade to kill his brother in order to try and save a group of refugees that were dead before the two of them even arrived.

This is so ironic in this day and age. The amount of money being made in a conflict in Ukraine is insane. Also, they just released the guy who the movie was based on! LORD OF WAR is free again.

Garand Thumb just did a video on a Uzi purpose like weapon if you’re looking for it for use but if collecting nevermind ❤️ have you watched his videos and Black rifle Coffees videos? Matt Best has an amazing gun collection. Funniest video “tactics instructor Earl cribs episode” US Green Beret Evan Haffer owner of Black Rifle Coffee , he does a comedic bit on tactical instructors and has a million guns hidden in plain site at the home , it’s hillarious!

When you talked about aesthetically pretty people have nothing in their life but being pretty and just having a conversation with them you just want to hit your head against the wall pretty much summed up my interactions with hot girls in high school. Right after the fall of the Soviet Union, there were tons of surplus Russian weapons left over. If he could have brought those guns to the USA he could have sold them for a few hundred, but selling to 3rd world countries over seas those weapons were never worth very much, especially with the number of arms dealers that were in business.
