    - praise yourself
    - recognize positive stuff that feels false as “unfamiliar”
    - make a mental point to make positive things familiar
    - don’t criticize, just tell yourself you’re a silly billy 😭
    - forgive yourself for making mistakes
    - whatever your focus on you get more of, stop focusing on anxious thoughts or stress
    - you’re mind is gonna try to act with you’re thinking, be optimistic
    - let out you’re feelings, be aware of feelings,
    - tell your mind to remind you; give it instructions
    - fill up your mouth with saliva and push your shoulders down
    - make vivid pictures to let thoughts in
    -

    We have to get your findings incorporated in the kids curriculum. Teaching them about how there mind works, and in a way they can easily understand will benefit every aspect of society. Let's make teaching kids the right things our top priority. They should give you the Nobel prize for your work Marissa. Thanks for all the gold love!!!!!

    Thank you for the reminder: Change your Thoughts; Change your Life :)

    • @alcudiababe1
      @alcudiababe1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Actually I saw a comment on the Internet ages ago there was this quote that said if you change your thoughts, you change your beliefs. Change your beliefs and they become your actions. Change your actions and they become your behaviours and I thought what great advice so because I write stories and I know I can't always tell great stories from my perspective so I started changing and reprogramming my mind to be these believable characters. One time, because I did this - I wouldn't have twigged normally but I realised someone was jealous and all of a sudden I had great Empathy for them. Imagine going through life feeling inadequate and others have it, the looks, the intelligence and no one looks twice at you, this is why jealous people turn out to do such cruel things to people and you know the saying that goes, "don't worry about them, they're just jealous of you." That almost sounds cruel to them using their weakness against them so they have to tear you down to look good, when in reality they are not happy people. They really do lead an insecure life plagued by self doubt

    The thing is the only person I don't take criticism well from is my Mom. She's the only person. She has always been the only person I've cared enough to impress - someone else could criticise me and it wouldn't bother me too much

      I can relate completely!! My mother is highly intelligent and very educated in the field of the psychology and human nature. Therefore not allowing her stern comments or judgemental ones to effect me can be very difficult to say the least! I have always been the closest to her of five children and admired her intelligence and emotional strength throughout my life! At 86 yrs of age she has just finished writing and publishing a novel( Just to give you a better idea). I'm a very compassionate and kind and intelligent women myself in the most sincere way but still feel like I have never quite measure up to her expectations of me!!! I seem to always fall short no matter how hard I try and please her. And the more I try and prove to her that I'am a decent loyal and responsible daughter and human being the more she seems to find fault in me (not sure why that is)! So I think I will give myself the permission to stop trying to prove anything anymore to her as painfully as it may be!! 😥Just practice loving me for me and know that I'm enough just the way I'am with or without her validation!!! Sincere and loving wishes to you all.🌷💞🙏

    Hello Marissa I thank you for your insight and knowledge you share with us. I would like to know how to help my child to change the negative language he uses for himself because it also hurts me. He gets into those pre_teen anger rages and any of my help, talk or support or trying to explain common sense it taken as annoying. I need him to learn how to regulate his emotions it worries me to seeing him like this and the impact of his negative language on him. I know I need to change the way I think about myself because his words hurts me too. But I am going to commit to think positively and learn more to be present and don't let those 'silly billies' 😊 affect me. Thank you once more!
