PP Arnold’s ‘lost’ album finally released - BBC London News

The American soul singer PP Arnold is probably best known for songs like 'The First Cut Is The Deepest' and before that she was one of the backing singers for Ike and Tina Turner. But perhaps she would have been an even bigger star had it not been for a 'lost' album that she recorded here in London 45 years ago. Well now, it's finally being released. It's like there they gems out there, nobody really knows about, but just have this great talent. but yet you hear them all the time. People like Brain Eno, Ronnie Lane, kinks(main catalog)ask someone if they know who Mick Ronson Is? its crazy, in many ways it just not right.
