Hi Ben, thanks for the comment and for following along. Almost ready to launch the new update so will be great to get back into regular content. The cardinals all got along fine however I now only have 1 left. No idea what happened to the other 2 as I never saw any fighting and i've never found their bodies but really nice schooling fish if you have a few. I no longer use the hydras but from what I remember it was a simple ramp up for 4 hours, then peak for 4 hours, then ramp down for 4 hours. I can't remember the 4 hours peak settings though. Mojooe V I’m running it on my nano pal but can’t in the 425 as it will kill my refugium, it’s definitely working in the nano tho 👌 I’ve had a minor miracle in the 425 tho I’ll release it on the next video pal 😎👍
I did do that probably about year ago swoped from aquaforest to ati pro and my tank didn't like it at all so went back to aquaforest and all is well again strange isn't it
Yea I've found these things hate change and get used to what you're running mate. Got a video coming up though as I've managed to completely stop carbon dosing now and nitrates are holding at 10
What are your perameters on your mixed reef, great video's though love you content, i have a channel as well featuring my tank would love to no your opinion 👍👍
Mogsys Aquarium thanks for your comment, really glad you like the content. My alkalinity is 8 (but i'm slowly lowering it to 7.5) magnesium is 1400, calcium 470, nitrate 10 and phosphate 0.08 (I normally keep it at 0.03 but i've had to take the gfo out to use detox so it's slowly climbing, it'll be back in tomorrow). I'll have a look at your channel pal, It's great seeing new youtubers start as love new content. The one thing i've always done and would recommend to anyone doing it is just keep it open and honest as people can learn from your ups and downs pal :-)
@@ukreefer4907 thanks for your reply mate really appreciate it thats what mine is about, its about being honest and not to be scared of setting up a marine tank as people feel daunted, the only fish i have ever had was a goldfish i won off the fair when i was about 6, tjats it and now ive been in this hobby a little over 2 years, loved and hated it in that time but i feel in my content to just be real with the viewers and hopefully give them information on the mistakes ive made but also the things i think work, thats just my opinion. Once again thanks for your comment and keep safe during these unprecedented times 👍
@@MogsysAquarium great attitude to have with it that pal :-) mines always been about the people and producing the best content/video content that I can not worrying too much about numbers which has worked well. I'm hoping the videos will improve further now as I've upgraded the gear along with the way I edit them. We've been in the game a similar time, i've been in 3 years now but love it as I learn new things every day. I think the worst time for me was getting white spot 10 months ago, I'd got 90% of the rock and coral out of the tank on the floor trying to catch fish and it was an awful 3 months. No worries at all on replying to you pal, I try and reply to everyone :-) keep yourself and your family safe mate and keep the youtube channel going :-)

I used to keep tanks,but i came to realise its a horrid hobby that does not good to the reefs and amazing animals,they dont look like coral reefs to me anymore,just tacky glass cubes that are cruel and look rubbish ,save ,go see the real barrier reef or donate to its preservation that this hobby decimates
