What is that black stripe covering the top of your rimless tank? I have a Waterbox with Blades (3) and wish to make disappear the spill from the Blades.
I like that, looks great. Aquascaping is my weakness. I can do it, I'm always in such a hurry to get everything setup, I rush and don't take the time to aquascape.
I wouldn,t cut the stags, i like the mixed sizes, i think it would look awesome if stags were twice as big, it will look like your frag tank if you make them all uniform in size.
What are your thoughts on a tank lid, since you have the AI Blade lights ?? I have a Red Sea Reefer 350 g2 with the 39” Blade grow on it. I have the same stock slim light attachment. I want to get a lid, so fish won’t jump out and to have a little bit of help with evaporation.
Hmm, I think the blades are flush with the top part of the tank so the standard mesh won't work, but having a lid of some sort is a good idea, as long as you can let the heat out.
I just see a lot of SPS tanks with torches and listening to some experts like Chris Cap I remember him (and others) saying Goni's and torches do better with more flow. I'm no good with Goni's though... I do get the impression that my torches grow faster with more flow (but don't puff up enough). I did used to reduce flow during evening times when I looked at the tank so the LPS expanded - I don't know why more people don't do that.@@TreasureCorals
@@sunnygoold9449 thanks, that’s a great insight. I am not the best with gonis either. My torches do get a ton of flow. But they also have to be very healthy to start with.
beautiful tank 😍 can I ask you how many gallon is the tank? I see that you have little flow in the tank can I ask you too which settings do you have on the vortech?
love the videos & the channel. it always boggles me how people can keep more than maybe 2 aquariums. i consider each one as a pet. and if a person can’t manage just one, unlike you of course, they try to push their boundaries and set up more. and i’m sure we’ve seen plenty of stories of reefers just failing with all their tanks yet continue to setup new ones. this is a side point. not towards you. as always, great job on the rescape! it looks fantastic
Looks Good and nice selection of fish my friend 👍🏴
Thank you, it does host some of my absolute favorite fish.
That rug really ties the room together
Those who know, know, brother.
I'm also a huge fan of ZERO light noise spillage in my reef. Well done!
Beautiful tank, love your channel.
Your Centropyge loriculus is awesome 😍.
I got to say thank you to Ron for suggesting this particular individual. Love this guy.
I love how looks your Blade ❤.
Yeah, can't do that with any other light :)
I enjoy this new look, i like the big chunky stags, and plenty of room for the fish to swim.
Kinda reminds me of practical reef. Save the large favia that was on the right of that tank.
Good times :)
Love the new look. A job well done !

I just used that film that people put on the back of the tank to create a black background.
I like how your blades are concealed, it looks really nice
Yep, I am a huge fan myself

Yeah, and it is different once you add water and your corals start to grow, I have been tweaking mine all this time.
Looks fantastic. Also really like what you’ve done with the blades.
Appreciate it, really dig the new look

Good idea, check out my latest scape
This looks gooood!
Thank you!

I think (most) torches and also gonis are more suited to acro (high energy) reefs than LPS systems - very cool to see this ;)
Interesting, what makes you think that?

The tank is about 100 gallons. There's tons of flow but I usually slow down the pumps when I shoot videos. They are all on reef crest or gyre
How much turnover do you have? And what % on each Vortech? Thank you 🙏
@@Redsea250 I run these at about 60-70% of their max, never calculated turnover, but the flow through Vectra M2 is quite low
How are the blades mounted? Also do you have both of the blades think one is a grow and the other?
I am using old Hydra mounts on my bigger tanks and just blade mounts on the other. All grows for me.

I totally agree and I like your pet analogy. I think that evaluating one's limits is a good thing, and I'm good with my latest decision.
@@TreasureCorals how did you attach the blades by the way?
