Have had these for about 1 week and they are absolutely amazing. Super comfortable love the LED on them and the fact you can turn rumble off if you don't want it.
With the latest release/firmware updates on the Binbok and out of the box on these Doyoky, i haven't noticed them lighting up Docked at night anymore. Can't guarantee they don't but, if they do it's a lot less than before. (You can always disable LEDS btw) . @@Keyfram3d
How's the D pad. My gripe with the official Pro Controller is the phantom right or left inputs when I try to press down. Several third party controllers I have bought don't have this issue so I'm curious about this one.
I am still baffled 8bitdo never took a shot at something like this. Hall effect sticks and an 8bitdo dpad would be a no brainer purchase. Currently though, the Split Pad Compact is my go to and I am hyped for the new transparent Eevee variant coming up.
In the same boat. Browse the web and you can find similar controllers, almost (or even) identical, even some that are grip controllers you slide your switch into that are wired.
I have had these for over a month. Excellent joycons. You do need to be careful when turning them on as if you knock a stick it will de-centralise otherwise great.
Thanks for the great review, i've had an earlier model from binbok and the sticks might finally be going out the door little by little after a year and a half. The company really just makes great stuff. The fact that a controller like this can be so cheap while having the hall effect AND all these features really speaks to how money-grubbing all these game companies are. I'm tired of getting drift on every single controller since the ps3, and it's so great there's more and more companies making hall effect controllers
How does this compare to the Nyxi Hyperion in terms of comfort? The Nyxi have more room in the “side handles” but I’ve also read that it is too big (I have smaller hands). Thanks!
I have small hands and have no issue with these personally. (i can't use the original Joycon ever again) Binbok also do a Slim Version which is still larger than originals, but feels great also. (BinBok own DOYOKY btw)
With Hall Effect, it uses magnets to determine the position of the sticks, rather than it being dependent on physical components which inevitably wear out over time and give you "stick drift". Because it uses magnets it isn't susceptible to developing stick drift. So.... YES you want Hall Effect on your controllers lol
When detached, do the motion controls work well such as Skyward Sword remastered? Is it the same or improved/worst than the motion control with Nintendo’s joycons for skyward sword?
I have the linyuvo ones and to be honest they are very very satifying, the sticks are very responsive, the rgb lights are nice and bright,I got mine for under 30 dollars on Ali express I totally recommend.
All of their joy ins got “hall effect”? Or only specified version. Because it’s not mentioned in their website, and there is other variant I have in mind, not that black :)
I'm looking for these kinda joycons are these ones the best, better than binbok and all the others, price wise, quality, any problems, dangers, buttons, and all overall?? And if so what switch case would work best with these joycons and other accessories
Are the dead zones trash? My problem with every joy con similar to these that I've tried is that they all have terrible dead zones. Can't do anything that involves any sort of accuracy with terrible dead zones.
Binbok (who own DOYOKY) fixed the DeadZone issue long ago. (Some games having a slight DeadZones is actually better) Firmware updates are out there to update the older slim/fat models.
@@PiManiac I see it, thanks. I''ll wait for more variations like the clear version. I just got the CRKD Nitrodeck so I'm pretty happy with that for now.

How comfortable are they on your hands? I am returning the hori pad pro because after 20 mins of gameplay. My right hand started to hurt.. Also can you tell us if the triggers feel better or worse than the original joy con triggers? Thanks for the video.
@@PiManiac How did you connect these to the PC? I'm holding down the Screenshot button and the Home button on both Joycons and my PC still isn't picking up the bluetooth

@@PiMania thanks for the info. I have two more questions, does this thing still dock when they are attached. Also how is the dpad? I can not stand clicky dpads. Like the one on the 3ds or retroid pocket 2 I like them tall with give you know?

Same! I'd give anything to just have their Pro 2 controller in a Joycon format, it would eclipse all the other options.
I think mobapad m6s would be better

How's the gyro/motion controls on these do they feel like they have delay

You can recharge them and use them independently of being attached to the switch ?
