Why is it so many of you have a hard time believing that a homeless woman is wearing makeup and takes some pride in her appearance? First, I met Kelly at an event hosted by The National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty. Kelly was scholarshiped into the conference. The event just ended moments before this interview was recorded. Kelly spent the night before in a hotel funded by the National Law Center on Homelessness. When I was an outreach case manager working with people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles, 80% of my clients you would never know they slept outside by looking at them. For many, homelessness is not the end. People are survivors. Even while on the streets people do what they can to take care of their appearance. Those of you commenting about Kelly wearing makeup need to let go of the wrong perceptions you have about homelessness and homeless people! The image you have of a dirty baglady or some bum with a wine bottle with a cardboard sign is not an accurate representation of homelessness and homeless people. Yes, it's sad when the human spirit gives up, and there are hurting people on the street in horrible conditions - BUT THAT'S ONLY A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF HOMELESSNESS! In any community, the percentage of chronic homeless people runs between 20% to 40%. Around 60% of individuals YOU'D NEVER KNOW THEY WERE LIVING ON THE STREETS UNLESS THEY TOLD YOU! Many have jobs but cannot afford a place to stay. Most wash in fast food bathrooms or 24 hr fitness facilities! I know this may come as a shock but HOMELESS PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE! REAL PEOPLE!
David Tiareh - fact is makeup to get the job done can be very cheap. They have an abundant selection at the Dollar Tree where everything is actually $1. So for $5, you can have enough for a month. This whole makeup deal isn't where anyone should be concerned.
Invisible People I am one of the many people without a home at this time and taking a serious backlash for being on here. I'm more about informing and encouraging others. My situation doesn't follow the stereotypical homeless person either. The video on my channel provides proof but most won't bother to look at it. God has plans for me and I am fighting back. We won't be homeless for long and I have a great case. I only wanted to share a little but I that wasn't enough. Many people are genuinely caring and curious but my goodness some on here are just evil with their comments to me. No matter I push through it all and give thanks. My kids read these comments and are so grateful that most are kind. We're not giving up or backing down and will always help others to get to a better place in life. Blessings to you all.
Alisha jane Bless you so much. We don't want to be in this situation but it does happen plus it isn't a permanent point in our lives. Many homeless people recover from their ordeal and move into a home again. We're not mindless zombies begging for your entire life savings. We want others to understand that this is happening all over the world especially America. We don't need bashing but encouragement. Kindness goes a long way. Alisha you are so awesome and. Blessings and Love
Texter-EX I question many of the things Kelly believes and says, but being mean is not the answer. She IS an attractive woman and she is what I would call "full body", not fat. Don't drag yourself into the mud. This comment told us far more about you than it did Kelly.
anonymous?piano **** that is so true. I don't think most people realize how close we all are. I was previously homeless years ago. Since then I have always owned a motor home. That way is something should happen I have a place to go. I have given a few away and had to get new ones. ( It's amazing how cheap they can be if you don't mind cleaning and fixing them up a bit. )
Me too Rosanne Massman. I went from being married and having a business making an annual profit of $240,000 per year. I got a very bad incurable disease so my husband didn’t want me anymore n I was too sick and on my deathbed to fight my husband legally and he took all our money and everything and I ended up homeless. He hired the best attorney and I cannot do anything. I found an attorney who will help me for a retainer of $3,500 of which I don’t have. So yes..... anybody at any time can end up homeless!!!!
This woman is ICONIC. I love her integrity. She’s so strong and inspirational. This woman does not deserve to be on the streets at all. No one does for that matter.
Just not true cannot everybody is that way in this country your thought about it everybody that's not true. This country is doing it best I think it is what is your opinion on that matter
This is true... Know I e knows what their future holes... Know one chooses to be homeless and sleep on the streets...... ANY ONE HERE COULD EBD HOME HOMELESS....EVEN ME... so, let's be kind and be respectful.. The care everyone
A ton of people saying she’s “so paranoid” SHES AN FBI WHISTLEBLOWER AND A HOMELESS WOMAN!! like how do y’all not get that?? Calling her “paranoid” is like gaslighting her situation
I work with mentally ill people every day. We only have this womans word, no confirmation from anyone else. She literally thinks the EPA is supposed to protect people from the environment. I hope she can get the help she needs. There are many womens agencies in DC.
it's just the way she talked of him is like the bogeyman. "They refused to arrest him after found guilty." "because I was pursuing him, my landlord kicked me out because of him." idk I hope she is good but something dosnt feel like it adds up to me. I hope she will get off her feat. I wonder what he allegedly did.
Her thoughts are organized. She's not mentally ill. I work in a shelter, you would not believe how often this type of things happen where people in power abuse women and ruin their reputations. I pray someone helps her soon. What is in the darkness will come to the light.
@@joshuakhan8099 you obviously know nothing about high-ranking Freemasons and how they all protect each other and how basically every single person in our government and court system is involved in Masonry. You mess with a Mason your life will be completely trashed maybe do some research before calling people names like this
Kelly is an advocate just like my father who is a whistleblower. He lost his job because he was fighting corrupt cops. Anyways, you'll get what you deserve. God loves you and God is good always. Keep on fighting Kelly!
I'm sure there is a lot more to this story then what she is telling us. There must be a reason the whole Kentucky system is 'against her'. I'd love to hear the other side of the story. Where are her friends and family? Not every single person in your life turns away from you without a pretty good reason. Seems fishy to me....
It’s crazy how small this world truly is. I met Kelly while working at a Starbucks in Downtown DC. I never saw this video until now, and I can truly say that she is a grounded spirit with a bright light. I knew her situation as far as being homeless but I never let her be reminded of that reality when she came in during my shifts. This video make me happy to know that her story is being told and people are so quick to send positive energy to her💓💓
borabelle from what I gathered, there was a serious matter of some nature between her and an individual. When she sought out legal action, this individual was protected by other powerful individuals. Her current circumstances are a result of procedural retaliation for her speaking up against the person. Hope that helps!
If this pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that ANYTHING is possible. Homelessness can happen to anyone. I can only hope that if I were ever put into this position, people would show me compassion.
Josephine Tuinman I agree however in other terms the universe and its force :) we all are matter and when we don’t give we don’t get the world is a mirror
Yeah It can happen to anyone in the US. In many European countries people get tons of benefits from the government. In countries like Germany if you can’t work you’ll get supported fully. They’ll pay for your apartment, electricity, give you money to buy food,... y’all need to think about that next time you vote the republican party

For those with all the negative comments: This woman is an advocate. A true warrior and fighter and unless you have 'been there', or you 'walk there', there is NO WAY you'll ever get it. And, yes.... no matter what a 'judgement' might be in a court? MONEY can buy ya out of it, and she has marched on anyway to D.C. People would do well to educate themselves because believe it or not, the next homeless person could be 'you'. This is FACT.
Don't even address these people missy. They don't know love, empathy or compassion! THEY are walking zombies who don't know how to fight for what's right. Shame on them
Jerry A. It's probably because she is scared to tell the whole story? Or maybe the scum that ruined her life in the 1st place. Could be a very famous and loved person for all we know has something like a gag order in place. Who knows and why does it matter wether it makes sense or not. We get the basics, terrible things have been committed. Justice unserved. Without all the questions can't we just send good vibes anyway?? I'm sure invisible people wouldn't promote false accounts.
Jerry A. She added many facts women suffer from when being homeless. And money talks which is also a well known fact and more important than humanity. Besides all the other points in her story what doesn't make sense??
After my husband left me and gave me no money I realized how easy it is to become homeless. I am unable to work due to arthritis. I am so fortunate to have my mom to live with. If not for my mom I would be in a shelter or on the street. All kind of circumstances can lead to homelessness. It is so sad how easily it can happen to anyone. Never judge a person living on the streets. Help them with food, change, clothing, supplies whenever you can.
I feel you, I was meant to travel, resigned and had a week left to finish off when the borders shut, lockdown level 5 for us... Anyway I lost that contract, however didn't realise that I had been putting some serious symptoms off... So when you mentioned the arthiritus I know exactly how that feels... I battle that and a thyroid condition... So when I have a flare up I'm literally stuck in bed... And the depression that goes with it makes it so much harder... I have always felt for the homeless, however I have learnt now that there are even more reasons under the sun now to be homeless than I thought and with our condition it truly will be hard to maintain a job... I feared many times the past few months that I would end up on the street... People think we are lazy or have a poor mind, very judgemental... And artiritus pain is so hard to describe... I trust and pray... And day thank God for daily sufficient grace🙏

Having to choose, wearing a skirt, to get raped or go to the bathroom without being taken to jail.. OMG!! NO WOMAN should have to feel like THIS! We shouldn't have to worry about this sort of thing! Women's rights, more protection! God Bless You and keep you safe!
sebastian popek both women and men can be killed instead of raped and sometimes both so what’s your point? This comment was talking about what the woman in the video has to go through, you mentioning men isn’t necessary
I'm so sorry this is happening. The same thing is happening to me and my kids. My former neighbors are also facing homelessness too. My home was full of mold, asbestos, sewage and I was hospitalized. I was bullied property management and charged $600 for mold on a bathroom vanity. The apartment owner was a famous civil rights advocate and a very influential leader in Atlanta. No one would listen to me. HUD refused to come out to investigate and the news only made my situation worse by adding that I was a burden to tax payers even though I worked as much as possible before my health started to fail. The city of Atlanta had very little interest in my situation because of this man's philanthropic giving. It is so amazing how quickly people are to dismiss your proven claims when you're going up against a person of power. The great thing is that I documented everything with video, photos, hidden voice recorded conversations etc. I have a media background and I'm going to show what citizens go through that are less fortunate. Please check out Atlanta Deadly Government Housing to see my neighbors unit next to my unit. My documentary will be out soon. Blessings to you all. Did you get the chance to watch the video on my channel? You should take a quick look.
Shabbon PedoBear Hi Sweet, thanks for your support and I will post it. I have so many to post and pictures too. Thanks again for your response. Blessings
piperpepperpickeda peckofpickledpeppers Hello and thanks for your concern. They're a number of people and businesses that turned a blind eye to this evil. The owner and property management company, The City of Atlanta, HUD, The National Housing and Compliance, The City-County-State Health Departments, State Representatives and Community Leaders. I have reached out to so many people and organizations that I lost most hope. Then I remembered that God chose me for a reason. Out of everyone that's being bullied by this company, I'm the only one with all the documented proof. I saved everything from the nasty letters that property management sent out to residents, hidden camera conversation, pictures of my unit and other units, I documented each time I spoke to anyone, and have copies of everything in other places. This coverup is bigger than Al Sharpton, Kasim Reed, or Jesse Jackson, and yes, they know the owner too. It is so sad that even attorneys are quickly to to discourage you from fighting them but I must. God is with me and that's why I must fight for everyone that's too afraid or too tired to continue on. It has been hard but I have no fear. Only for legal reasons I don't mention the owner's name at this time. The irony is that I once worked for this company at the location where I lived. I know the dirty deeds and I am exposing the real evil of this company. A sweet person from PBS has been working with me so I can get my documentary out soon. Thanks again for your response.
under the current lunatic administration, maybe, but the current administration is demolishing the entire country. she reminds me a little of congresswoman karen bass, who i'm thinking would make a great ally. i totally agree with Denis. She could be a serious game-changer if even a few good people in politics stepped up to support and mentor her. and of course if her story were covered by a few reputable magazines.
What people don't understand is that everyone in this country is one paycheck from homelessness and you need to look at each and every person on the streets like you would someone you love, who would theoretically be homeless.
I agree, just why?! I also saw a person fat shaming her right here in this comments section. I can't believe people have the heart to do stuff like that 😡😡
No kidding! This is an interesting situation. I wonder what type of job she had before? It doesn’t sound like she was fired from a job, she sounds like she just chose to pursue her case instead of work. Am I missing something?
Chantel Thompson I did not choose to be homeless because I stood and fought aganist the rich I was Blackballed and unable to secure employment in their attempt to silence me
@@kingkellymiller So happy that you are at least OK. I am glad I saw your comment bc I was about to say, "It's the principle" that keeps you fighting for justice and I get it. God bless you for fighting the good fight! 🙏💪
I was homeless, and besides the slight confusion in her story, I have no real reason to not belive her. You can be homeless and wash regularly. You can be homeless and wear makeup. When I was homeless, me and some other females had about one cosmetic each, and we'd share. I totally understand not wanting to go to a shelter, which can be very manipulative and abusive. I find it rediculous that some don't think she's homeless because she doesn't fit the right "look".
I didn't look homeless. I had on makeup every day,I rolled my hair every night. Those were the only things I had control over. I wore clean clothes every day. But because I didn't look homeless, I wasn't taken seriously. Until I started going to city hall and fighting 4 my rights and rights 4 other invisible people. I'm no longer homeless. I'm living in an apt, and have been for past 3 yrs 3 months. But I am not the same person. Besides being disabled and bedridden, I'm suffering from PTSD. The horror things that I dealt with on the street will forever be with me. I don't socialize with people much. I'm only comfortable with my homeless friends. I go check on them when my health allows me. I'm a senior citizen and nobody cared about me. A stranger, reached out to me and said that she was going to help me. And she did. I never once disappointed her. I proved that I was worthy..
That's actually a pretty good idea; also it would probably help her a lot with her case and also inspire people to fight for justice, etc. I think there are a lot of wins here with your idea!
I applaud this lady , she’s not lying, I live in Eastern Kentucky, there horrible here .... she’s telling the absolute truth.... they do as they please here like they have there own country, good luck too her ... some how they get out of anything there accused or charged with here .. like the government and FBI is scared of them or get paid off .. it’s unbelievable

Many comments here confirm the stereotypical attitude towards the homeless. Feel she is especially attacked, with much doubt and hostility, being a middle aged woman. Shown by comments as there must be something wrong with her, she's a junky, her story is b.s.., she's not educated because she mispronounced a word etc. What happened to her, can happen to anyone. Maybe this fear, brings out unfounded hostility, towards her. I truly hope this woman receives justice. She has been to hell and back.
I agree with you dude, and Yes you would be a bit coocoo by now too, if you had been through what she has, I'd like to see how mentally healthy you'd be in this situation, and btw, some of the craziest pricks are the ones in suits at the top of a skyscraper looking out of their penthouse window. Do you know her? And can you definitely give an accurate account of her life story? Judgemental outhouses!!!
Amen. I was judged like this, too. I feel a kinship with her. It's hard to fight depression and have your family abandon you. Let's all pray she gets justice and peace. Many folks are mentally ill, even the rich and entitled. They need serious help, too. God sees all.
Mynipplesgethardwhen Ithinkaboutnamjoon lol I was laughing at how you said your forehead and it made me laugh at your comment but your name is funny too lol 😂 😂 😂
It's amazing how people choose to disregard people who are homeless. It blows my mind. That could so easily be you. That is a person not a target for you to laugh at, mock or abuse. How we treat the less fortunate says more about us than a person's homeless status says about them. Good luck to you Kelly. I hope you get the help you deserve as a human being.
Our government needs to figure out how to take care of the homeless. No one should have to be homeless. I'm homeless with a vehicle every place I go to at night to sleep I'm woke up by the police and my i.d. gets ran and they want to search my car, just for sleeping. BS
America is a country without compassion,,haven't you noticed how people are just miserable here to anybody,,do you ever notice people never smile even to people who aren't homeless,,just so into their phone,,,i see 0 compassion,,so it's not just homeless,,buncha anti-social self seeking aholes ,,,that's why we have pets :)
@John Smitty I'm not lying I said shes a good person I dont look for people's flaws like you send me your picture I'll look for your flaws and send them to you
From your videos I am discovering that most homeless are very intelligent people. I believe you actually have to be intelligent to survive on the streets.
Watching the videos has also shown me that you can be highly intelligent, articulate, etc, and still have mental health issues preventing you from living a functional life. I don't doubt some local Kentucky govt crooks screwed her out of justice, but how did she decide to abandon her job (did she even have one), social network of friends and family, home, all her earthly possessions, etc to live in a homeless shelter in DC for two years while 'pursuing justice'. It doesn't add up at all. She sounds like someone who is intelligent/articulate with paranoid schizophrenia--and if you put her in a home she'd tear down the walls convinced of wiretapping or something. And when people generically say "I've got two masters degrees, three PhDs, four BAs" etc like a qualifier for intelligence, it's usually a sign they don't actually have said degrees.
Also, there's no such thing as what she's talking about--an EPA roundtable for the homeless, EPA stands for protecting people from the environment? It's literally the other way around--the EPA is to protect the environment from human pollution. When the EPA discusses homelessness, it's to address the pollution issues it creates--not the wellbeing of human lives. That's for other govt branches, like the dept of housing and urban development...
@Henry B. Just to play devils advocate here. Wouldn't it have been more intelligent to have secured funding to take care of yourself or a job before moving to a new city? I'm sorry but the reasoning is the opposite of intelligence.
I would too but I think it’s really hard. I’m a vendor that regularly visits a beauty shop in Beverly Hills. There was a regular customer I would always see who eventually lost her job and would come in for free samples of shampoo, skin care and etc. The store would always give it to her too! After 3 months of being homeless she literally broke as a person, she would walk up and down the street talking to herself, come into the store yelling and didn’t look put together anymore. I think you have to be amazingly strong like the woman in this video to not have homelessness affect your mental health and the way or the ability to take care of yourself. On a brighter note! I used to volunteer at a women’s shelter that provides personal care products and some beauty products so it is accessible! :)
Kelly Miller is an inspiration. What a strong, intelligent, powerful woman. I pray that Kelly receives justice. People love to complain about the wrongs of society, yet never act. My mom is sick and when my parents got a divorce she would of been homeless if it wasn’t for my siblings and taking care of her as much as we could. My sister claims her on her taxes and she’s only 26. The state only gives my mom food stamps, she can’t get disability even though she is sick and the doctors have written that she is sick. She’s been to court so many times in the last 5 years yet they refuse to give it to her. ANYONE can be homeless. Your health gets you wealth. If you’re sick and can’t work, unless someone is helping you, you could be on the streets.
Kelly, you're amazing. Sometimes it seems there is no justice for women. Thank you for your articulate account, and for speaking truth to power. You give voice to so many. Keep fighting the good fight!❤

Sounds like she was targeted for speaking up about gender based violence. I can relate and know what that feels like. The patriarchy in this country needs to be dismantled.
Hadi Kosh This isn’t biased, its generalisation as many men who aren’t even homeless will pee on a bush/a wall/wherever with little qualm. Men are also vulnerable in homeless situations but as she stated women face more problems. Squatting to pee often gets urine on clothes so a bathroom is preferable. Menstruation is an entire other ball game that requires sanitary items (and attending shelters etc.) to get a hold of them. Saying ‘men have an easier time going to the bathroom’ is not untrue, as women, by way of biology, have more to deal with.

I'm also from KY originally, but raised in NC and I also experienced homelessness for a few years. Fortunately, I never slept on the streets. I never knew where I'd be and furthermore, I had two children (now we have 3). This was all a direct result of a substance use disorder involving prescription opioids which was a result of the trauma I experienced at 17 when my *perfect* life was flipped upside down and my parents died in a tragic accident. No one believed that I was homeless or going through addiction, food insecurities, etc. I was always well kempt, was highly aware of my physical appearance and spoke with intelligence and a broad vocabulary. Thankfully the right people crossed my path at the right time and I am now 32 years old and 6 years into recovery. I work as a Certified Peer Support Specialist/Recovery Coach/Administrative Support Specialist for our county Public Safety/EMS Community Response Support Team. Now I have my own office where I help connect struggling individuals to basic support. I am extremely effective because I have the shared lived experiences and that is a priceless addition to my resume. Life can change dramatically in a very short amount of time and I am proof of that!

What a wonderful woman. And what a wonderful channel! I discovered this last night and will be sharing your cause. Thank you for helping these people have a voice.
What a brilliant woman. I spent a year on the streets of the uk. I lived in boxes, and telephone boxes. I still wore make up, brushed my hair and teeth. Went to the local bath house for a shower, even managed to get regular clean clothes from donation bins. Never judge a book buy it’s cover. I’m educated, I live on the water surrounded by yachts 28 years later and no one would ever imagine what type of life I had. I remember eating food out of a dumpster eating old McDonald burgers 🍔. We don’t all look or sound the same. I wasn’t a drug addict, but I saw a lot and experienced a lot on the streets. Some of us turn our life around for the better.
I AM FROM THE FUTURE. She’s on Twitter, you should be able to find a link to it in the comment section. Seems like she’s still homeless but a good advocate

Believe. me, the addicts have it worse. Just look at your words and see the lack of understanding and pity. They are all hurt inside and addiction is a 25/7 hard work job. The violent ones who steal from others can fuck right off though.
I was homeless at 14 and no one knew. I got to school as soon as the gates were open and took a “shower” in the bathroom and washed myself with the hand soap, I brushed my teeth without toothpaste, just water lol I was able to take an actual shower in gym a few times. I was able to stay after school and help certain teachers and I ate left over lunchroom food and would secretly put some in my book bag or pockets. I felt so much shame for taking the food, I felt like I didn’t deserve it and I didn’t want anyone to know. I would do my homework and study until they left for the day. One of the teachers, she was an angel. She was so kind to me. She would try to give me money for soda but I wouldn’t take it so she started buying 12 packs and would offer me one in the afternoons sometimes. She asked me if everything was okay at home or if I needed to talk to her about anything she would listen. I would lie and act like everything was wonderful. Deep down I think she knew something wasn’t right. I went to a library or public building downtown in the afternoons when I couldn’t stay at school.

If you think you'll never be homeless think twice. Anything can happen unexpectedly
anonymous?piano **** that is so true. I don't think most people realize how close we all are. I was previously homeless years ago. Since then I have always owned a motor home. That way is something should happen I have a place to go. I have given a few away and had to get new ones. ( It's amazing how cheap they can be if you don't mind cleaning and fixing them up a bit. )

I went from being a married (with children), business owner, to alone and homeless. It can happen to anyone!!!
What's your story?
Where are you now?
I hope your doing ok in Jesus name
Me too Rosanne Massman. I went from being married and having a business making an annual profit of $240,000 per year. I got a very bad incurable disease so my husband didn’t want me anymore n I was too sick and on my deathbed to fight my husband legally and he took all our money and everything and I ended up homeless. He hired the best attorney and I cannot do anything. I found an attorney who will help me for a retainer of $3,500 of which I don’t have. So yes..... anybody at any time can end up homeless!!!!

It’s crazy how small this world truly is. I met Kelly while working at a Starbucks in Downtown DC. I never saw this video until now, and I can truly say that she is a grounded spirit with a bright light. I knew her situation as far as being homeless but I never let her be reminded of that reality when she came in during my shifts. how did she lose her kentucky home and live in a truck because of a lawsuit? i couldnt connect the dots there
borabelle from what I gathered, there was a serious matter of some nature between her and an individual. When she sought out legal action, this individual was protected by other powerful individuals. Her current circumstances are a result of procedural retaliation for her speaking up against the person.
Hope that helps!

Rent should be cheaper.

Nora Williams Is the "whose name cannot be mentioned" Al Sharpton or Kasim Reed or Jesse Jackson?
piperpepperpickeda peckofpickledpeppers Hello and thanks for your concern. They're a number of people and businesses that turned a blind eye to this evil. The owner and property management company, The City of Atlanta, HUD, The National Housing and Compliance, The City-County-State Health Departments, State Representatives and
Community Leaders.

RUTH Honaker,You must be a precious 🌹🌹🌷 being ❤️
From your videos I am discovering that most homeless are very intelligent people. I believe you actually have to be intelligent to survive on the streets.
You do. Especially, not to get hurt by other people.
@@user-jz2bm4wz1g That's actually very commonplace to find intelligence mixed a mental health condition.
@Henry B. Just to play devils advocate here. Wouldn't it have been more intelligent to have secured funding to take care of yourself or a job before moving to a new city? I'm sorry but the reasoning is the opposite of intelligence.
just goes to show you homelessness can happen to anyone.
God Bless you Kelly ❤️🌷🙏

these are the kind of people who should be in charge of stuff. and here she is, doing just that. props to her
Huge amounts of respect for this beautiful articulate woman. Hope she comes out the other side in a better place, because she deserves it!
Kelly Miller is an inspiration. What a strong, intelligent, powerful woman. I pray that Kelly receives justice. People love to complain about the wrongs of society, yet never act. This woman has sacrificed everything. I hope the right person sees Kelly's testimony and gives her a job. She would most definitely be an asset. Peace & blessings. 🙏🇺🇲❤
Damn! She's a FORCE! But still a homeless person. The system must change.
Kelly, you're amazing. Sometimes it seems there is no justice for women. Thank you for your articulate account, and for speaking truth to power. You give voice to so many. Keep fighting the good fight!❤
Truly a strong, amazing human being. I so do hope she gets justice.
It's so incredibly disgusting how mean people are towards the homeless.
Hi.. where are you from ..
Are you a English native speaker ..?
Washington DC has such a high percent of homelessness not to mention this is the city where a child has went Missing from one of the homeless shelters
MsThemjs You're right. I'm in DC & the cost of living here is beyond words. To move away? Has to jobs there, not just cheaper housing.
Jen Smith COME TO TEXAS!!! 😀😁😁
SauceySlimesDIY,And More. DIY09 it’s cheap as long as you don’t live in Austin like me 😂
one kid? come on black ad brown girls have gone missing for years in dc and no one ever talks about it. just snatched off the street. my classmates' sister's friend. my friend's gf. just gone and no one knows where they go.
Sounds like she was targeted for speaking up about gender based violence. I can relate and know what that feels like. The patriarchy in this country needs to be dismantled.

Hadi Kosh you’re weird and clearly deranged 🤣 take your own personal views outta here and have some respect
Hadi Kosh yes I do bitch, now log off
hell to the yes. thank you.
This woman is awesome. She has that reflex of looking out 24/7...on the sharp end. I believe that is the only justice in this life
I pray Kelly get's justice. Bless her soul.
Hello Letit🤩
We need an update on this women! She's amazing 👏
"I want justice my way. Not how people want me to settle for justice." Powerful, brave woman. I hope she got her justice.
She’s a hero!!!
Can we get a update? I’d love to see how she’s doing on her quest for justice and equality
Where are you from ... are you a English native speaker ..?
Let’s help this lady to get a room in DC while she completes her “business”.
shes having beautiful eyes and is pretty still
Pretty sure she’s back in KY, as her Twitter feed seems to indicate. I think you’d be very surprised by what’s she posts there. Quite a different woman from what you see here, I believe. mobile.twitter.com/kellymillersaga?lang=en
cynterslave Can someone verify this?
@@rachelsmith6359 verify what? Look at her twitter feed. I watched a video she posted oct 12th and she’s still in DC and she DEFINITELY paints a much more clear picture of her current state of mind. It’s nothing like this TH-cam video.
She is so well spoken and knows what she is talking about. I hope she will find justice. Just shows money talks. I hope she finds someone who will help her.
She's a fighter with a mission. Whatever it takes. So inspiring.
This woman is incredible. I adore her tenacity.
to be cast into the outer darkness for the sake of justice; there is no greater honor
sozfan1 👏
It's called politics...And it happens a lot more than you think it does. Glad she is speaking out for ALL victims like this.
Any update on Kelly and her advocacy for the homeless since this interview?
Kelly Miller blew the whistle on fraud, corruption, misuse of power in law enforcement and government agencies which resulted in retaliation against her. Ms. Miller took her fight from the eastern Kentucky Coal Mountains to the nation’s capital in Washington DC. where she currently has litigation in the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia for the RICO Acts of law enforcement and government agencies.
Despite Ms. Miller’s ongoing personal adversity of homelessness, she continues to give back to society by actively advocating for others. Miller is an advocate for homeless persons as well as basic human rights and devotes her time advocating for the needs of the homeless community and fighting for homelessness and human rights across the nation.
Kelly is still homeless but is still a great advocate. Her twitter if you’re wondering: mobile.twitter.com/kellymillersaga?lang=en

Kelly Miller I hope your doin well and that you are getting the justice that you deserve! 🙏🏾🤍
Kelly Miller what is the justice you need? What was done to you before becoming homeless? I’m looking at your twitter videos, but there are no details at all...just that you are looking for your justice and it has a certain price? What’s the price? What happened? What did the offenders do? What justice? Please be specific so we can understand what the heck it is you need help with
I'm also from KY originally, but raised in NC and I also experienced homelessness for a few years.
I don’t know you personally, but your story brought me to tears. You made it through!! Please know that you are stronger than most of the other people in this world. Be proud of yourself. You are amazing!!! ❤️
Life can change. Don't give up
Stay off drugs!😮
What a wonderful woman. And what a wonderful channel! I discovered this last night and will be sharing your cause. Thank you for helping these people have a voice.
This channel should honestly be more well known. I love how they show light on these issues!
The more I watch these the more I see how messed up the US is.
If I had one wish it would be that I could help all of the homeless people. GOD BLESS THEM ALL✝️✝️✝️✝️
What a brilliant woman.
This woman is amazing. I am hopeful that she is doing well today.
I'd like to see an update on this lady's situation! Hope she made it somehow!
I AM FROM THE FUTURE. She’s on Twitter, you should be able to find a link to it in the comment section. Seems like she’s still homeless but a good advocate
She's on Facebook too
I really wish Kelly happiness in her life and that things get better for her
I hope she gets her justice
Well done, Kelly. God is with you indeed.
This woman is sharp! Very intelligent...she just gave me a few jems in 10mins.😎🤘
I couldn’t keep up the pursuit ..it takes a toll on you. Sometimes it’s just better to walk away with your sanity
Never walk away darlin it shows weakness and other trolls will pounce on you
How can this woman be so motivated given her circumstances. She is a massive inspiration to everyone. I no longer complain about my country. I’m not where I want to be in life, but I now humbly recognise my privilege
This video is 3yrs old now and iv'e only just come across it.Would love an update on kelly.Wow what a strong educated articulate wronged lady she is.I hope she gets the justice she deserves and gets a home back in her state of Kentucky.Just shows anyone can become homeless at any time of their lives.SHE DESERVES BETTER......Good luck to kelly...Tony....UK....
This lady is awesome. Love her energy and mind. Wish I could meet her
Love her energy... she’s a fighter. “Give me freedom or give me death” she will fight for justice if she loses everything she has and I respect that. Many are not brave enough to walk the path
I know this video was taped a while ago, BUT, how in the world can we help her !!! This is a tragic story. She is an inspiration !!

Hi.. where are you from ..
Are you a English native speaker ..?
Too much enemies Kelly!!! I wish you the best and success in your fight.
What a gem of a Lady ❤️ wish her well...
Kelly you are amazing woman.
May God bless you & Watch after you.🙏
The guy interviewer is almost speechless 'your story is powerful.' Shes fighting for justice in spite of her own safety if need be. Powerful story!!
Kelly seems lovely. Wishing you the best Kelly.
It breaks my heart to see homeless folks especially ones who aren’t addicts.
If being homeless is bad, being homeless while having every dollar u can get going to medicine you need just to be well enough to wake up in the morning has got to be even worse eh?
Believe. me, the addicts have it worse.
God bless you Kelly
