Now that I am doing the entire show "solo" I'd like to see how different set ups actually work. No one demonstrates how to set up the microphone or speakers when connected to a MacBook Pro while playing to an internet audience and live audience in the room at the same time. I called NuMark and they suggested modifying the Sound Settings within the MacBook Pro (changing the input audio settings?). It would be NICE to see a complete DJ set up... Microphone, headphones, external speakers, how to do Skype calls for interviews, etc. Learning how to USE the mixer is easy. It's getting everything set up properly that is tedious.

Got put back in the box for months because I didn't really know what I was doing haha..... After watching your vid Iv been banging out some beats today and pissing off my neighbour!😂..... i was using a mixtrack pro 2 last night at a rave, and i think id prefer the effects area how it is on the 2, but the jog wheels and cue/loop button move is a bonus
All this new stuff is nice, even added a filter knob, but how can you honestly call a product "pro" when you still have no GAIN controls!? Personally I prefer dedicated effects buttons/knobs so you can tweak multiple effects simultaneously, but that touch strip gimmick is sure to attract newcomers which is fine really since that's who this controller is aimed at anyway.

Hello, great little video. Looks like a fantastic piece of kit. Is there a GAIN function please could u tell me? If the answer is a no, could u inform me of the next piece of kit very similar to this, sort of advanced beginner which is where i am for around the same price with everything this has but with gains. Im still trying to find out if they are so important as in my mind u have independent volume controls for each deck which is, technically a gain level so a knob that is for gain plus ya sliders for volume isnt needed to me but everything i read and watch, or should i say a hell of a lot say they r vital, very very important. may be u can clear this up for me...? the master gain is barely at 9:00 clock position, then why is the meter hitting the red so often? how to open the master gain to 12:00 position and still have meter in green

I still have My Mixtrack Pro2, and the only failing on It was the Volume of the Main Out (Master Out). There Is just not enough to Gig with It on the road. Great for the Bedroom though. Have You addressed this In this new version?. Also when You say sampler!. Can I add Jingles to the Pads, and they will fire without a delay?. And be assigned to all the individual pads?. Another thing over looked here as well, the Mic, No EQ: settings just a volume knob, and No attenuation on the volume when You start Talking. Not just a frailer on this But ALL controllers. Sort these and I might upgrade, but for now I'll stick with My aging American Audio SM4.1. For Sound quality nothing comes close to this one.
Yeah it works with vj8 but you have to pay $99 to unlock it, or you can only use it for 30 minutes the blocks the controller from working! But it's a really good bit of kit! I highly recommend it!
