- Hey guys, Merry Christmas! What's more Christmassy than a look into everyone's favorite Elite's faction - the Swords of Sanghelios, from their time of conception, to the Human-Covenant War and up to their current status?!
Thanks a lot for watching guys, got some cool stuff in the works, some of which has been in incredibly high demand for quite a long time now, so expect to see that soonish ;D Next time, we're discussing an idea I had surrounding the Masterchief's 'death', and how it could tie the Created story arc to an almost perfect close, without strictly killing Chief. Trust me, this is one you're not gonna want to miss :D

Uh, ONI does what it does for the right reasons. A united Elites would pose a threat to the UNSC if one of them had any ideas of a renowed offensive.

Good elite with an energy sword waiting behind the door on Halo CE on legendary is my favourite.
Since Jul M'dama's Covenant is finished and the Banished are most likely to be the main enemy ( which use the beautifully designed H2A elite models), I really hope that that means they can finally scrap the horrid Gears locust/ brute splice of an elite model that they designed and give the Swords the H2A model because I think that one really suits them. I'd also be fine with the halo 3 or reach ones tho.
Oh and my favorite elite besides Thel and Half-Jaw is the hugging elite at the end of CE
GAME IDEA: play as the Arbitrator and fight along side the rest of the swords of sanghelios to take sanghelios and defeat other covonent factions
That would be a dope idea for a Grande Strategy game, or a Halo Wars campaign

Thank you for clarifying that the Covenant Separatist movement was not universal. Many people can't seem to understand this.
My favourite Elite is "Sword Guy", because of the sheer panic and chaos that ensues whenever one of those bastards is around XD

Isn't the Banished consider a threat to the Swords? After all Atriox controls a large amount of weapons and soldiers under his banner.

Geez... Can the UNSC look anymore slimy than it already does? Without the help from Arbiter's faction humanity would be much worse for wear.
I mean don't get me wrong there would still be some tension between the humans and elites after all of that sure, but the current Arbiter and his followers have proven to be valuable as allies, and have proven to be trust worthy time and time again. They have no interest in wiping out humanity. Those they are fighting do.
They should be helping them, not undermining them with dirty tricks.

Parangosky went _directly_ behind Fleet Admiral Hood's back to pull this proxy war off. In doing this, ONI has essentially committed treason against the UNSC and, by extension, the UEG itself.
It is _because_ of ONI's action of trying to keep the Sangheili in a prolonged civil war that allowed the whole plot of Halo 4 to happen.
Hell, Parangosky green-lighted things just as ethically dubious as this if not more so; because when Halsey goes behind Parangosky's back to replace the kidnapped SPARTAN-II's with flash-clones that would eventually die to prevent their parents being tormented by their disappearance, it condemned 75 sets of parents to watching their children die slowly and is an unforgivable crime. When Parangosky commits actual treason by going behind Fleet Admiral Terrance Hood's back to instigate a Civil War among the Elites he's trying to negotiate a meaningful peace with, it's about trying to neutralize a threat.
Keep in mind, ONI had a prison ship where they allowed captured Flood specimens to infect human beings and even a captured Sangheili in an effort to figure out how to control the Flood. With emphasis: *ONI* thought it would be a _great_ idea to try to gain control of a parasitic species that had the potential to consume the *entire* galaxy.
ONI has no morals, unlike the UNSC. And Karen Traviss would have us believe that ONI are the _good_ guys.

Yes. He was also a prominent character in the novel "Hunters in the Dark," and I really liked how he was portrayed in it. He realized that his initial reasons for hating humanity were based on lies and he adjusted his attitude accordingly, which is something to be respected.

I feel like there should (and maybe will) be a combine Human and Sangheili faction. Like a faction so sick of the conflict and distancing between the two races that they form their own faction. I mean while both races have sour relations, there are clearly individual Sangheili and Humans who do like each other, so I don't see how they couldn't form their own faction (Especially since the current factions are tearing themselves apart).
There IS that one Colony World, Carrow, where Humans and Shangheili live....sort of together.
There should be some kind of animated series based on the events mainly taking place between Halo 3 and Halo 4. doubt that could happen but still

HiddenXperia. I wanna run my theory by you. And I had the idea of the halo universe being in a loop before I saw this video. My theory is based on the Origins 2 mainly, how it is shown that humanity fights the flood on some planet with the help of ALL the races we know of (except drones but that doesn't matter much). If that is cannon then it would make sense that the universe is in an eternal loop, except for now I believe the loop is broken (not just because this is the one we are living through). I think it's broken because we "beat" the flood (first wave really) and went on to make changes that now that there's no forerunners, there won't be a way to reset those parameters (didact and awakening of the guardians and reformation mendicant bias etc..) this also I feel explains why it's been 100,000 years since the halos fired. Wouldn't humanity have had plenty of times over to evolve to tier 1 (or at least tier 3), so what I propose is the sentinels and monitors of the lifeworkers repopulate the universe almost immediately after the firing of the halos, and that has happened a few times. If the librarian did set up the seeds for The master chief to basically do everything he's done up to halo 4 (when she speaks to him through her embodiment AI in Requiem) then what keeps her from having done it and everytime the universe resets, there's the exact same beginning humans that eventually lead to master chief. And not because this master chief is better than the last however many loops' MCs but all because The Pillar of Autumn jumped to the first Halo (ramdon slipspace jump) emphasis on the Random, getting Master chief to the first halo and learning so much of the forerunners (with Cortana) breaks the loop.
They should make a halo wars 2 DLC where you play as the arbiter and you control the SoS during the bloodying years
Personally, I think my favorite elite is a tie between R’tas Vadume an Thel V’dame.
My favorite is Xytan 'Jar Wattinree. Although he doesn't appear in the games, he is the highest military ranked Elite before the schism and is well over a meter taller than Thel 'Vadamee. Making him the biggest Elite in the time of the actual lore.

We need a game with two campaigns, one from the perspective of a human, maybe a former ONI agent and a sword of Sanghelios. Play as both of them and both fight ONI and the servants of abiding truth
Jul'dama became one of my favorite elites but I just wish they would have expanded his story farther than spartan ops
For me my favorite elites would be a ty between Jega’redomnai and the arbiter.
I can imagine that due to the state of the covenant, halo 6 will involve the remaining forces to surrender to the banished in effort to eradicate humanity, forerunner, and flood forces.

The more lore I hear about ONI, the more I can't help but compare them to the Inquisition from Warhammer 40,000. All that's missing is for them to start glassing planets for harboring rebels.
