Newcastle Railway Station (15/2/2016)

Has Newcastle central station shrunk, I am sure there were more platforms when I used to visit in the early eighties.Also I am almost certain that there was a much bigger junction which I was told was the biggest in the country.

Excellent videos! Curious as to what the hoses on the parked class 91 are doing around 17:45? How long would it take to turn trains round for their next service?

thanks! i believe they are used to get rid of the waste from the toilets, usually it will take about 30 mins to an hour depending on the station
