Believe it or not Kansas has cities with electricity, running water, and indoor toilets. A lot of Kansas is rural, but Butler County is near Wichita, which has a 300,000 population. And, we have our share of crime besides traffic violations.😅

If you really want to dismantle the idiocy that is the "Soveriegn Citizen Movement", J. Regier is exactly the man for the job. I don't know why you give him such a hard time. Dude is a laser beam. He's like one of those top-notch Medical Doctors with a (very) shitty bedside manner. He treats every case like it demands the full attention and effort of the prosecutor. Would love to see him as code enforcement. He'd legit show up and check the length of your grass with a ruler. Thank goodness we don't live in a society like Judge Dredd, though. Judge Reiger would be dropping bodies for whispering too loudly after 7pm.

Even if the feds are the good guys ( Mississippi Burning and similar) the hero / hackman character does not feature that look and has to work against characters with that look / outfit. Most of the time these guys are the bad guys to begin with ...

A tunning fork is a solid piece of iron. It has no moving parts, and is made of a single piece of metal. It cannot get "messed up by bumpy roads". The only way to change how a tunning fork behaves is to melt it down and recast it in a new shape.

The judges and the prosecutors are trained to counter the SovCit script, A judge like Mike McNally or Cedric Simpson will move quickly to squash the SovCit script, Some are more liberal and will entertain the argument but eventually squash it just the same. Notice that the judges skillfully, courteously put down the script and move forward. This particular case is the first that I saw a prosecutor take out the motion of jurisdiction with reference. A defendant arguing a felony or even a misdemeanor pro se is like a weekend warrior against a pro athlete, it is just plain dumb. They have too much at stake when they lose.

He almost got there while questioning if the radar was working properly. Probably wouldn't have worked, but, he could have argued that not checking it at the end of shift it could have drifted before it was powered on the next day and it reset itself. Bookend calibration checks are common in the analytical testing world. Mostly for the event the data ends up in court.

here if you are speeding 20+ mph over the limit that's considered reckless driving and you go to jail, and your car is towed unless you have a licensed driver in the car with you.,

A tuning fork doesn't "go out of tune". It merely is a solid object which is made from a material, a mass, and a shape to produce a frequency when struck. The only way to change it is by removing or adding material or significantly changing shape. The mere fact that that radar unit showed as calibrated when the fork was used shows the fork was working as well.
