From the UK and found Love S.O.S shortly after I broke up with my partner (3 years together) in the first lockdown. So many other tracks i’ve fallen in love with! So glad to have discovered this.
I always wondered how Daft Punk reacted to hearing fellow french Justice's first album & their Planisphere EP. Id imagine they were either super impressed like seeing their child accomplish greater success or maybe they felt super threatened like seeing somebody do "your act" better than youve ever done it while making it look easy. The last & supposed final Daft Punk album was a huge disappointment despite all the hype & the cool Get Lucky single & I somehow feel like its Justice's fault lol...they raised the bar too high & DP tried to go the other direction & shot themselves in the robo-foot. I know Justice were huge DP fans & studied their best album, Discovery, like crazy.
for the small amout of time that a US media speak about our actual music, it's obviously a shitty, basic electro without originality, they never show the real deal, thanks vice !
Justice are literal electronic giants, you clearly don't know shit. They are one of the biggest figure heads in the french house scene. It's not even electro lmao get fucked
they have the opportunity to showcase them, but they don't, they stick to the label's mainstays, which are trash this is all because they aren't independent and beholden to sales, because that's what UMG demands
there is a fad in europe of wearing american sports team jerseys/gear. i don't understand it but i see so many random jerseys and jackets of weird teams and players i've stopped questioning it lol.
