Thanks for hitting all the marks to make a successful video post. My fear was the stumbling and playing catch-up to correct things. You look very comfortable and put me at ease. I can do this in person but have been overwhelmed at the thought of connecting the dots and doing it all on line.
Its funny because we are always so worried about stumbling and making mistakes, but actually that's what makes your videos the best! People LOVE that you are real and if you mess up and can laugh at yourself, people will relate to you MORE! My customers love that I am goofy and sometimes stumble on my words. It creates more conversation and interaction, which is a GOOD thing. ;)

I have all my text for my description, my share posts, links etc. all saved in a word document so that I have it handy. I will usually go in just about 5 minutes before to get all my pages and windows open and ready to go live. Then I copy my text from my word document (you can use Notes if on a phone), and paste it in my description. Once I go live, then I share the video and I again just copy & paste my text when I share it. That way I'm not spending a bunch of time typing something out. You don't want to waste people's time at the beginning of your video trying to type out a bunch of stuff. Have it ready where you can just copy & paste and post. :)
Yes, I download the photos from my Paparazzi orders and once I am done with my live sales, I will find the photos of the leftover pieces and then upload them into an album.
You are welcome! Glad you enjoyed it. For the ring light, I got mine on Amazon. There are TONS to choose from depending on your preference. In this video, I am using a floor standing one that takes the place of a tripod. I changed my setup a little bit and I have a wider table now so I am currently using a table top ring light. With this change, my floor standing one would be too far away from me so a light that sits on top of the table works best. I would recommend looking through the options to find what suits your needs. Amazon has it all! Lol!

Yes that is correct. You are already live. You have to find your live video while you are live, click on the video from your computer and then share and invite. I just tell my customers that I am inviting and sharing and ask that they do the same by sharing it with their friends. I don’t leave the view of the camera as I am sharing it. I usually bring my laptop in front of me while I’m on camera. I go live on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm PST and you are welcome to come and watch how I do my lives. Hi Colleen. Very interesting information. May I ask how you make your TH-cam videos? Because I see your phone is on the tripod, then you have the computer and you are recording with some other device. TFS
I am actually recording a regular video on my phone using my phones video camera. After I'm done recording, I upload it to youtube. I do not use the live stream feature for TH-cam...just the regular camera. When recording TH-cam videos, make sure your phone is horizontal as opposed to when you do a live video in which your phone should be vertical. If I am recording a TH-cam video for a computer related topic, I use a software program called Ice Cream Videos on my computer. It is a screen recorder program that will record everything you are doing on your computer screen. It's very easy to use and was pretty inexpensive (I think it was less than $30). Hope that helps!

Hi Jill, I use Paypal to invoice my customers. All you need is an email address from them and that is what you use to create the invoice. You will already have their name because they will be commenting on your live sale or your FB posts. You can also invoice through Square but Paypal is easier to use for online purchases. You would need a Paypal account, but your customers don't even need an account with Paypal. Paypal just acts as a payment processor for you and allows the customer to pay using debit or credit cards online. I have a video on here that shows how to create invoices through Paypal if you want to check that out? If you have any other questions, I am happy to help!

Hi Erica! I am actually using an Apple iPhone, but it would be the same for either type of phone. There is a way that you can set the FB live video to where only you can view it and you can do it from your business page. You'll need to change your privacy settings on your page to "Only Me", and this will prevent anyone else from seeing your live video. Then don't forget to change your settings back to public when you are done making your video. :)

Exodus I’m not sure what you mean by guest list? When you are live, you need to use a different device to share and invite people to your video. On a different device, you should be able to see who you can and have invited.

I'm so sorry that I just saw your comment. I apologize but I am not familiar with going live on a laptop. However, there are live sale practice groups that you can join and the other people in the group will watch and give you pointers on how to improve. They can be very helpful. If you are not comfortable practicing in those groups, you can just use your phone's video camera to record yourself and watch them for practice. Then once you are comfortable in front of the camera, you can go live. :)

If your live is at 7 what time would you go in before that to put in your description and other preparations that are needed ??

Yes, your business page is public and anyone can share your posts or videos from there. :)
I can INVITE people from my phone when I'm live using my phone but I cannot SHARE from my phone while live. For that I have to use my laptop.
