I don't even livestream on Facebook anymore. I used to, but they make it difficult for me to promote posts to help my TH-cam channel grow. And since I have a larger audience on TH-cam than Facebook, I mainly livestream on TH-cam, now.

Justin, I HATE Facebook pages so don’t want to go that route. But I did my first live stream on my personal page and got 600 views in the first 24 hours. I also asked for around 6 CTAs and it worked nicely.

Hi Justin! I love doing my LIVES in front of a window with a simple back ground. The natural light acts as a skin corrector if I have any spots that my make up doesn't cover. Makes my facial features pop :). I just signed up for season 10 of LCB and all of the bonuses! Can't wait to learn from you!

Cool, doesn't really change the format, I'd suggest you try to answer one question at a time without getting distracted by people joining and stopping your answers to say hello, maybe answer a question, welcome people in, then onto the next question. You can also still do your intro, "welcome to this weeks livestream, thanks for watching the replay! Today we'll be answering your questions so make sure you post them in the comments and I'll do my best to get to them" maybe something like that ;)

I have a question maybe you could help me with. I am a lash artist and educator and plan to use fb live for my students that want to take my class remotely. I recently took an online course to obtain certification in another area and I had to buy a kit...the purpose of the course was learn how to properly use the kit. Once the kit was purchased, I was sent an email that included a link, day, and time the course would be available on FB live. The company also stated that if I was unable to join the live at the given time, I would have 24 hours to view it and then the link will no longer be usable. I thought that was pretty cool, because the company doesn’t want anyone to get a hold of their content and have freebie courses going around. I’m trying to figure out how to do this as well, but can’t really find any content on how to even start. Starting FB live like anyone else is easy, but I don’t get how to make a private link for those that will be taking my course and to be able to view just for a 24 hour period. It seems like it’s similar to adding something to your stories then it goes away, but this recording was actually live and the link in the email no longer worked after 24 hours from them filming the original content. Do you happen to have any info on this? Thank you in advance.

Hi Judith - you can simply use 1 camera for that unless you want to show a different angle to your audience then that's where another camera would be needed. Have fun doing live 👍

For a variety of reasons, so I need to get that hook in there with a good short eye catching annotation at the start, then hopefully silent listeners will bookmark it to watch later. I think that stat is more for video than for livestreams.. Lives people are MUCH more likely to click in to join live. There aren't any cheap, live captioning services for facebook that are worthwhile yet unless you're on the pro / corporate end of things. TH-cam has live captioning now but that probably wont help you much either. I'd focus on adding some title cards or screens that you can bring up in the start of your livestream that tell people what it's about, also the Title and Description of the video would be important

We are going to start doing Facebook live interviews with guests next month and after watching a plethora of your videos I cannot seem to find the answer to this question: If we wanted 3 microphones and 2 (or 3) cameras so we can have 1 or 2 guests on at once when we stream live, what software would work with this? Essentially we are going to create a 30-60 min "morning show" for our community via Facebook Live for local people, non-profit representatives, etc., to come on and speak with us to inform our community on any given topic. The issue we are running into isn't the multi-camera set up, but the multi-audio ability for live-streaming with 3 microphones. Any help on this? Thank you, sir.
I find the facebook live video feature to be confusing. When I am setting it up - the video dims and when I add a description, it seems to cover my face...do we just ignore that? It is really difficult to make a video thinking...am I going to look like a fool?

It's your phone settings. It's taking all of your data to record and then when texts are received, that text takes away the data that you needed to record live. Upgrade to more data. If you have unlimited data, check your data settings.

The problem I have with using my phone selfie camera for facebook live is it flips the "signs" behind my desk. Is there some way to correct that?
