Not surprising really, chicken breast and thigh, chicken gut with aniseed, salted strip steak, and I'm sure others have their own weird bait concoctions. I reckon sometimes you need to use baits that aren't the usual natural food choice of fish, probably more so after a lot of rain and the water is dirty.
