  • These 2 teams don't like each other and in the end was a big blowout fight between the 2 teams at the finish line as Margie is not happy with how they treated them.
    Watch the Amazing Race every Sunday at 8:00pm on CBS cause the finale is just around the corner as 4 teams remain!!

      Nah, I don't think it's going to far. I'm not on Margie and Luke's side on this one, but I'm not on Keisha and Jen's side either. They both did wrong things. Jen did push Luke too, called him a bitch, however, Luke did the exact same thing! So I say they're both in the wrong, and I do think Keisha laughed at him being deaf, the mumbling he made, and I think Margie, like any mother would, defended her son by placing them in the position in which they placed her son. Keisha is being ableist. I guess from my point of view, and I respect yours and others' as well, I think they were both terribly wrong. Which they have since admitted and, moved on. They actually helped each other out on the season in which Jen and Keisha won. I say if the teams involved got over it, so should the rest of the people.

    Actually, Kisha/Jen called Elimination Station in this season after their Beijing elimination. The eliminated teams all wished they had won instead of any of the final 3... in season 18, their wish came true. So it kind of is a karma-tic season.
    I honestly wasn't a big fan of the cowboys in season 16 as I was cheering for Jody/Shannon, Dana/Adrian, and Steve/Allie to reach the final 3, Jet/Cord were very cool in Unfinished Business though to make up for it. :)

      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      TBH, all four of these remaining teams ticked me off by the time they reached the legs in China. Tammy & Victor for their tiring argument in Romania and their petty note to Kisha & Jen in the next leg, Jaime especially who treated nearly every task local like street trash and proceeded to demoralize them for not understanding English, and I absolutely cannot stand Luke's victim mentality even though he can't verbally voice his opinion.

    • @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep
      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Sahal E. M. Patel Tammy & Victor decided to write "sorry, we can't outrun you" on Kisha & Jen's photo on their U-Turn board. I feel like it was better off had they not wrote anything. The sisters knew they were stiff competition. A note was just flat-out unnecessary and petty. And what are you trying to say about defending Jaime and Luke's behavior?

    • @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep
      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Sahal E. M. Patel Jaime was literally mean to 90% of the taxi drivers she's ever seen on the race simply because she's painstakingly impatient. Also, Luke always relied on Margie to console him whenever things didn't go his way emotionally. He didn't exactly think for himself when he was on the race.

    • @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep
      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Sahal E. M. Patel It's obvious to me that you are trying to change my opinion because you can't stand seeing it. It's not swaying. Since when is being overly snarky direct and clear? 💀 And of course Jaime would back up Cara, they have a close bond and are great friends. Moreover, whenever things didn't go Luke's way, he always complained to Margie instead of dealing with it himself. He passed the monkey to her even during the Guilin Pit Stop.

    • @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep
      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Sahal E. M. Patel Do not twist my words, Sahal.🙄 Cara's great, I just don't like the way Jaime handled so many situations with navigation and locals with so much aggressive impatience. And if things didn't go Luke's way, then he shouldn't be a baby and should've dealt with his dramatics himself. Even Margie was kind of fed up with him doling on him by the end of it if you don't remember the second half of the Beijing leg. If you're trying to make them likeable to me to appease your ego, then you're gonna have a tough time doing so, cookie.

    Redmond from season 29 makes this guy look awful. Redmond lost his leg and is an amputee but you wouldn't even know it. He doesn't let it define him. He doesn't pull out the victim card or whine or complain about his disability. He plays the game with the same advantages as everyone else, as if he's got two working legs. Watching season 29 I totally forgot that he was an amputee because he was such a force and never harped on his disability or made it a problem; he went on to dominate and was a top player regardless of his disability. He never once used it as an excuse or a crutch. This is because he didn't see himself as a victim but as a winner. That's the difference between him and Luke. Redmond doesn't dwell or let his disability get him down because it doesn't. He used his circumstance as an opportunity to rise up and be better. He didn't let it defeat him. That's inspiring. So Luke and his mom should learn from people like Redmond. Luke needs to stop seeing himself as a victim and his mom needs to stop seeing and treating him like a victim. They need to somehow learn to draw inspiration from his disability and rise up. Whatever horrible fate, circumstance, or challenge life throws at you, stand up to it and don't let it make a victim out of you. Come out of it better! That's the silver lining.
