My 5yo took over my K10 and loves the bed; currently waiting on driveshaft parts. Would you recommend they Cheyenne over the Atlas?
I hate my Atlas, maybe I hot a lemon but nothing but issues, week drives haft broke and super underpowered yet still broke, esc fried also. Ran it maybe 3 times lmao.
Where's the driver tho....
@@anthonytuccillo6274 Same experience, got one in December 2021 after seeing some glowing reviews and so far nothing but issues. Even had it replaced once, second one seemed better but now the center axle is binding if there is any load on it.
@@DipeshHinduja yea, I bought mine because all the amazing reviews as well, I don't get it. The thing is a peice of crap, I do like the body though. I see all of FMS products get rave reviews but after my experience I'm afraid to get anything from them. Way over priced in my opinion. RGT on the other hand is great. Have the 1/10 Jimny and it's amazing for the price. Can't wait to get the Toyota land cruiser they just released!

Looks like a very capable crawler. More companies should do the high low speed thing, reminds me of my old cars that have 2 speed gearboxes, or the ones that have normal and “turbo” on the control 😁

Hey my dad made those airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) planes at Boeing here in Washington state when I was a kid. When he retired he was making the wings for the F22 stealth fighter. Cool 6x6. Driver looks good in there. 👍🏻✌🏼🤟🏻

I have the Roc-Hobby 1/6th scale jeep. HAD to fit a scale GI. They look totally stupid with no driver. So, a big thumbs up from me Mr T for your efforts !!!!

PS was very funny because if you watch RC driver video of it he lost the same screw in the same spot that you did exactly for the back roll cage his is bouncing around inside as well.

What a shame that Roc Hobbies got the sseat height so wrong. Congrats on sorting yours out.
Lights - what are they thinking? Why don't they listen? It's simple; wire the rears to the sane feed as the fronts and ditch the ridiculous indicators, or let us switch them off.
Otherwise, it's a lovely thing, this...
congrats on getting the driver in! looks great! however, how long did it take you to find those screws to mount the roll cage? were they easy to reach once the body was off? cheers! see you in the next vid.

Rc driver says that this isn’t the same as the atlas. He thought it would be, but when shown side by side, this model has a different design than the atlas does. Also… great job on the driver! Haha!

To do upgrades to it where would I find them? I love but like everyone else ide want to lift it add bigger tires and new motor and swap new links/ shocks in for starters

Might be just me, but I just can't like 6x6. They look nice but they run clunky, but awesome job putting that action figure in there! Btw, which figures do you use? I usually use 80s and 90s gi Joes.

Pretty cool little rig I'm yet to have a FMS or rockhobby / or even a scx 24 I'm leaning towards the scx 🙄
The SCX24 is certainly the most capable out of the little 1/24 scale. And they have some nice hop ups. FMS are more scale though 👌

Where can I but the new version ESC? For the Lc80? My lights started doing a slow fade in and out. All the ones I find on foreign sites are not available for some reason.
How do you guys charge your batteries. My usb charger is rubbish and refuses to charge from PC, can be weird charging from an ‘apple’ style wall charger.
Phil, which would you recommend the rochobby cheyenne 6x6 or rochobby magnum? I like the look of the magnum, but it looks like the 6x6 might be more fun. What do you think? Or is there another rochobby you would recommend?

I totally dug your montage at 10min. Normally I don’t comment but that was really well done. Was that your phone? Maybe next time slow it down just a bit more and a smaller f-stop to add a bit more reality. But all in all it was super! 🙌

What do you do now the AEWACs have gone from RAF Waddington ?
Interesting that they chose a 55 turn 050 motor in this compared to the 100 turn 050 in the atlas. You'd think they'd want the extra torque considering it's the same chassis as the atlas with the same gear reduction but increased weight of the hard body. Looks alright either way 🤓👍👌
The problem i have with the bonnet on my regular Jeep is that it's difficult to open. Almost broke a nail trying to open it. It definitely stays shut. So maybe is a quality control issue.

Personally I don't mind there not being a driver figure in an rc. I guess in my mind, as long as there isn't a figure, I am the driver in there. But then, I also prefer for rc windows to be either cut out completely, or just solid grey or black.
Yes, I never was bothered about it.. but the more videos I made, the more I preferred a driver in there
@@TomleyRC hmm, maybe with time I'll find myself leaning that way a bit then. But, it does seem that with crawlers , the scale realism is much more important to people than it is with a racer or a basher, I do notice that. I guess every crawler is little bit of a show car in that way. So, yeah I guess I kinda get that.

Rcdriver_online used some tape to hold the cage as he had same installation issue. Shame it’s such a design issue. It looks an amazing little truck. Can you add oil in those shocks or friction only?

@@TomleyRC thats good news though, i wasn't a fan of the atlas transmission, have burnt up a couple now. and they have become almost impossible to find the parts for. not sure what FMS is doing there but they've been removed from the site
