My students will freak when they hear how fast you played the Allegro and they may fall off their chairs if I add in that marvelous ornamentation you played at the end of the second repeat

Thank you, a very nice performance and a very nice visual setting too! This sonata happens to be one of my personal favorites of Vivaldi. The fourth movement is an excellent piece of dance music - too bad they don't play that in the night clubs. If you ever end up playing that in a night club, let me know! 😁
Absolutely beautiful. I am playing it to help me relax while working from home, there is a thunderstorm and my cat is in a panic, so he has now moved closer to the pc with this music playing, starting to relax much like his dad ;)
thank you for the performance. i hope you dont mind if I add my opinion: i dont know if it was your/sound engineer's intention, but the solo violoncello is sometimes not prominent enough and is shadowed by how loud the harpsichord and other cello are. especially in 3rd movement.

The ornamentation in the second movement at the second repeat was pretty damn incredible
Yes it is ! I noticed that too, sublime !
00:20 I. Largo
03:45 II. Allegro
06:20 III. Largo
09:43 IV. Allegro
Ein sehr schönes Werk, gefühlvoll und souverän interpretiert, und das in einem so wundervollen räumlichen Rahmen - alle Daumen hoch!
love the more restrained and less emotional interpretation =a true Baroque style performance- bravo maestros.
Baroque music was emotional music . . .
@@erika6651 as is all music

2d largo verynicehowever
The second cello is not necessary. It only ruins the piece.
The piece is written like that. It is not up to me to change the text. And I disagree.
Too fast too showoffy. Hardichorf too loud
Maybe learn to spell "harpsichord" before you criticize someone else's performance
Personally, I love the harpsichord in this
