Sooner or later someone has to make that into an actual videogame weapon. Plus it would come with the most achievement ever! After picking up the LG 1000 times. It says:" I did mention a planets full idiots."
@@mgris Make that a MMO April Fools mission, where the players have to get to the top of the tower and remain there for a certain amount of time, fighting off critters. The players are the ones who paid for the game, the critters are controlled by people who didn't pay for the game. The players are given basic weapons/armor, and can upgrade it as they get closer to the top. So the entire mission has the players stopping in rooms, scanning for critters/loot, then heading to the next room. The critters are using clever tactics, trying to ambush the players, aso. But once the light grenade gets introduced in the game, you'll soon have rooms with lots of loot in them that will tempt the players.
its in space station 13's goonstation server, it acts just like a light grenade but doesn't actually kill you, it sends you to a voidlike dimension and is usually surrounded by the clothes of those who have interacted with it
While it's not a videogame, I am working on implementing it into my Fallout tabletop campaign as a potential Wild Wasteland encounter, along with the preceding 'armory' scene.
🙈..."What a silly fun picture-show!!!😆"..."I still fondly remember watching this on HBO or "Skinemax" as a kid & laughing hysterically at this particular scene!,... Also let's not forget the cute little fish folks and even cuter tadpole-frog like alien critters with the razor sharp teeth!😂
It'd be a pretty horrifying weapon/scene in a slllllightly less silly movie lol. But oh man, the face the captain makes at 1:44 has lived rent free in my head for 25 years (I have it on my face more often than I care to admit)
Fun fact: The director of this movie, Greg Beeman was originally in talks of directing the live action Super Mario Bros movie back in 1991 that was originally a much more faithful adaptation of the games with Danny DeVito as Mario. But because this movie unfortunately a flop, he was fired with the directors for the 1993 movie instead. Which is a shame because this movie's sets, comedy and character designs look like something out of the Mario games. Especially the mushroom creatures.
Rocks and light grenade you better be scared earthlings. Love it. There's a giant sign in capital letters that read "EARTH MAN'S BED DO NOT TOUCH" and they do the exact opposite LOL
cocaine probably makes this possible, even out in the field with super serious soldiers, if theyre on cocaine, theyll end up falling for something like this.
The funniest part is the first two guys recognized it as a light grenade, didn’t fall for the “*Pick Me Up*”, and still ended up 😵ing themselves.
Planet of idiots.
"I think we're gonna need some reinforcements out here"
😂😂😂😂
That the same line from the clip we all just watched. lulz!
Smartest man in Tod's army
There's something eliminating our men! We clearly need everyone out here investigating this danger!
A very funny and very under rated movie. OK, it's dumb and cheaply made but it's got tons of laughs in it.
Not cheaply made. Not dumb witty. Good jokes. Rapid fire. Like Simpsons used to be.
I still laugh to this day and i havent watched it in years
This movie actually went way over budget and was almost never released. It flopped at the box office though
"Gotta love the slapstick comedy gold of old"😏
I remember this ONE scene from my childhood! For the longest time, I had no idea what the movie was, but I finally stumbled on it again! So funny!
6 years later I was finally able to find the title myself! Same exact 1 scene I could remember. I was so relieved when I knew I didn’t make this up!
“Who would pick it up?” (Sign on grenade: PICK ME UP.) “Diabolical, isn’t it.”
😆... hell yeah!, funniest scene in the whole movie bro! Especially the way Jeffery Jones says it!😂
2:04 Wilhelm... NO! Guy can never catch a break.
Also gotta love the "Token Black Guy" they installed for effect!😂, ya know, just to even things out alittle!👍🏿

put it in a game like Fallout where you're always picking shit up... /Added to inventory /Instantly dies.

Hilarious scene, you can't stay in a bad mood watching this movie. This movie will definitely cheer you up lmaoo

These guys make the Gotham police force from The Dark Knight look like geniuses
Except this is a comedy, and not trying to be smart.
This should be used in Gotham
@@TheLatiosnlatias02 and the very first to pick up the grenade is Batman....
And I thought Joel shomucker's batman police looked embarrassed enough.
As a youth, this single scene taught me a valuable life lesson. Don't be a follower. Don't do stupid things just because everybody else is doing it.
This sums up the world of tanks players in a nutshell.
They have light grenades that kill you if you pick them up?
Or do you mean driving past a mass of burning tanks only to promptly explode?
i love how the one guy encourages the others to pick it up.
where is the light grenade? i can't see it? where is it?! can you pick it up and show us?!
1:26, 2:05 Wilhelm Scream!
I will always love this scene.
Holy shit, this is 90's as fuck.
😂😂
A clear example of Hollywood's TACTICAL GENIUS!
I loved the heck out of it as a kid.
This is my team in every FPS I have ever played.
It'd be a pretty horrifying weapon/scene in a slllllightly less silly movie lol. But oh man, the face the captain makes at 1:44 has lived rent free in my head for 25 years (I have it on my face more often than I care to admit)
I don't care what anybody says, I love this movie and have done so for decades!
@ericberner That was my favorite scene.
"Mutton chops, my lord?"
Grew up watching this. It's goofy, but goofy in a good way 😂😭🤣😭
Emperor Text To Speech: Heresy
Would love to see a parody of this with the halo grunts 🤣
Mutton chops!!! :D *shoots self in head*
This sums up 2020
it may be from a bad movie, but this is an absolutely inspired joke.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!
This movie was so good.
Take that Mike Judge!
We need some of those in Washington D.C.- O.K. just one should do it.
Take it to an AntiFa event.
DEAR GOD! It would take out the entire eastern seaboard!
Give it to EU parliament
@@Kelgoroad That's a funny way of saying "Western seaboard", considering they've been dumb enough to elect Eric Swalwell.
This was the best joke in the film. lol
I sometimes think the whole movie was made in order to have this scene in it.
Greatest movie ever.
has to be the best movie ever made!
One day I'll get the chance to see the entire movie
Light Grenade...Piccolo would be proud.
this movie has awesome costumes
This is the IQ level of the world of tank player base.
Ha! I remember this movie from long ago!
you got a death wish? don't pick up that damn thing!
with a whiny voice: But it say “pick me up” I have see why??
but how do you know it REAL light grenade if you don't actually pick it up?!
This movie became a true story of how people are today.
light grenades are powerful weapons of choice!
God Bless you
I want this movie!
1:45 it was at that moment he knew.... he fucked up
hahaa god i miss this movie
Best scifi funny ever.
Omega Maneuver
Okay I never saw that movie but now I want to!
love that goofy movie
Rocks and light grenade you better be scared earthlings.
Love it. There's a giant sign in capital letters that read "EARTH MAN'S BED DO NOT TOUCH" and they do the exact opposite LOL
@Kenshiro3rd very true. i cant count the number of times ive thrown grenades in modern games to have enemies run towards it.
cocaine probably makes this possible, even out in the field with super serious soldiers, if theyre on cocaine, theyll end up falling for something like this.
This clip was fucking hilarious. Holy shit, I must watch this movie.
*Piccolo will remember that.
I'd like to see some Luvits as Lord Todd. 'goatee or mutton chops?' he was great
They should use this in the real world, but make it more smart so the enemy won't just pick up and show it around xD
At least the officers led the way!
Have you ever considered reading a description before asking questions?
Classic example of NC and VS tactics.
Points for style?
The original idiocracy.
XD that was halarious
Is that a distorted Wilhelm Scream from the third-to-last guy?
"digg it" lol
Piccolo would approve.
Also this movie is hilariously stupid

In the 40k world this would do marvel.. with a slight change to the text…. “Pick me up for the emperor”
Was that an enhanced Wilhelm Scream?
When im killing NPCS opponents going around the same corner as the last one and they pile up i think of this scene.
...I'd probably pick it...
this movie did have some funny parts. low grade but worth it
... really? You took the time to write this question out but not to just check the description? How are there so many people like this on earth?!
Question is what actually happens to the victims because you can still hear the screaming after they vanish.
I'm surprised they can read. lol

Any chance of uploading the goatee/mutton chops scene?

Well there is a major difference… these guys here are idiots, Spaceballs are @$$holes.
that would have been hilarious
Is there such a thing as a light grenade, for home defense or police/swat use ?
Blindingly bright light, with delay, you could throw.
yeah its called a flashbang.
This scene and the mutton chops or goatee scene are the only redeeming comedic pieces from this doomed vehicle
