If you ever find yourself in Clayton, Ga and needing breakfast, make sure to check out the Rusty Bike Café. Super people and great food, but be prepared to wait a little for a table if you go on the weekend. Wonderful cakes and cookies too.
That single obstacle could prove challenging for you. I watched a lifted gladiator have a bastard of a time on it, but other than that you're golden. You carry traction boards? That might make the difference...
Cool video! I thought for sure Sarah's Creek was more tore up than that but guess they must have graded it. Hey, if you ever get the chance to go by Dahlonega, about several miles north is Grassy Gap Rd (trail #55 on Avenza & FS). I did it last yr and it was pretty scenic and a little intense, more so than your average North GA trail because it was rutted out. I bet you'll like it!
I would. If you're going all the way to the end, for sure you'll want to air down. But I even air down some on just dirt roads, too maybe 20 psi just to make it more comfortable. My vote, take your compressor.
I think you're referring to the only obstacle in the trail? If you watch near the end you'll see me coming down it, then going back up it in reverse. I approached it a bit from the left if I recall... But I assume by the time I see it again it will have changed. I may have used my locker, I know I used it when I went up it in reverse, but I don't remember if I used it the first go around...
I thought about that, but the GPS tracking within gaia seems to be dead on. It produces tracks perfectly. But if I want to add a waypoint, or just watch where I am, the arrow always seems to be in the wrong place...
You can barely see it there near the end of the video. I backed up off the trail and was going to go spot him but he got it figured out on his own. I wish I had it better in video...
That big ol tree @6:28 was crossing the trail a year or so ago.... We spent hour removing that Goliath. Good to see yall out!
I appreciate your effort!! Made my day easier... :-)

Thank you,

Ya they graded Sarah's Creek a few months ago... I'll make note of Grassy gap for sure! Thank you for watching!
Great video.. I'm hitting Chestnut Mountain Rd near Rainbow Falls .It cuts south into SC
Have an awesome trip!
Is it necessary to air down? Headed out there this weekend and want to make sure to bring the compressor if it’s needed.

What path did you take to get around the massive rut after the first river crossing

What exhaust do you have on your FJ? Sounds good whatever it is.
Thank you... It's the trd exhaust. If I recall it's made by bosal, but sold through Toyota dealers.
I have been told that if you purchase a GPS receiver it will give a more accurate GPS location.

Would have liked to see the Gladiator fail 😁
