Definitely the right decision. I love a challenge. I'm sure it was getting too easy for you before. When you compare the wage budget to your old club there is no wonder the other teams in the league don't do great in Europe (seeing as they finished 3rd)

There's a lot and i mean A LOT of work in the next two seasons to get rid of everyone not suitable for first team. The kind of person for the job is mr. ELLISON. GOOD LUCK MAN🎉

25 foreign players the previous manager must of been stupid you need to cut 16 players sell them off to get some transfer money in then focus on bringing in that homegrown quota otherwise it's 2nd division football.

I'm glad u did change clubs mate. Last year on fm23 I got to over powered ie at 1 point I beat real Madrid 13 0 in a cl final and won cl 25 years in a row. I was using second yellow cards model for a build a nation. I think his model is best suited to streaming purposes but for me I think the dominance needs to be spread amongst the nation and managing as many clubs as possible I believe is the best way to make the end goal possible
I hope it can help and it just keeps things fresh, I think different.m methods work different ways, his older series I loved, not followed this years since I saw he edited Malta to make it easier in early seasons so a bit dull imo to cheat the exciting years 😂
But his methods of loan farm etc are insane exploits of the engine and made it insane to have so many loans, crazy

@thenorthman1987 I'm with you on that 1 mate. It would of been interesting to see him tackle it without the editing there r some saves out there in Gibraltar unedited and there doing incredibly well

@@thenorthman1987 352 strikerless asymmetric, tried to make the most out of the LB's, - LCB, WB, ALW , DM and CM.
Iirc I made one of the CB a target man and it worked better.
I think my girlfriend could build a squad better than Lillestrom did. Shocking job.

FM really need to get rid of the eyebrows have been raised on every single job when you get hired. Surely it's not that hard to have some variety based on what you have achieved!

Honestly believe you shouldn’t have left Egursunds. Just think it’s impossible to do build a nation series while the AI is so stupid. Already Egursunds are struggling to win the title and inevitably will fall off and sell all the best players
I think your opinion might be right but might be wrong, time will tell but refreshing the series can only be positive and adds a new side of this journey
In my journeyman/build a nation I started at Lincoln red imps in Gibraltar I made the national team better there now a League C/B team in the nations league they do ok in qualifying but don't make it. The trick is because of the rules you can take any UK born player make them play for Gibraltar within 2 years. But I managed to get Dario sarimento who was Argentinian because he played in Gibraltar for 5 years. But I'm no longer in the GFL I am at Northampton Town in EFL league 1 and France manager. I was briefly Manchester 62 manager before taking over Northampton I was on £10,000 a week signed some cheap players won the rock Cup, papa reyes Cup but we went into administration becuase of £4M of debt I resigned and the new manager is on £5 a week.
Taking over Lillestrom shows just how bad the AI in the game is. While you were generously giving money to clubs, I fear those clubs were just wasting it like Lillestrom was. What a mess you've inhereted. Good news is, should be easish to fix as what is wrong with the club is very, very, clear. 🤔🙂
Yeah he's gotta cut 16 foreign players and maybe raid his old club or look at other teams for some of those homegrown talents so mainly some players from Sweden, Finland, Norway ect as long as there trained in the country your allowed them.
Only Norwegians count as HG and Northern Europeans take just as long as a Brazilian for example to gain Norwegian citizenship sadly so it’s only Norwegians I can look for basically which is annoying
