  • Huge shout-out to Tracie, who saved my bearded dragon from the symptoms of gout! Buy your gout ease at:
    Bug-De-Lite: bug-de-lite.com/
I purchased the Gout Ease package, Flavor Cherry. It took about 3 weeks to notice movement in my dragons leg!
Hey all! I am happy to be back. A series of fortunate events and kind words gave me the inspiration to begin filming again. Today's video focuses on a gout or leg paralysis solution in dragons. I hope this reaches those who need the tips, and wish you all the best!

I'm not sure if you will see this message, But I just wanted to Thank You for making this video! My Beautiful Beardie Stella is going through the same thing & Its heartbreaking to watch.Im beside myself. I just placed an order on Bug delight for quite a few things.Im so grateful that you referred them.I took her to the vet & they said it was vitamin D deficiency.I bought the Arcadia 14% light.I take her out in the sun everyday & been supplementing with Calcium w/out Vit D.But her symptoms are getting worse. They only did an xray. They said its swelling which was obvious. They said she doesn't have MBD yet thank god.But I knew something was off.I researched myself & found out that the roaches I was told were a great meal for her are actually the worst thing for her.Ive been crying my eyes out.I just wanna take her pain away. But your video gave me hope that I can heal her.Im big into supplements & herbs myself & feel its the best route to cure many things.Shes just about a year. Its strange because I fed her 2 large roaches & 2 days later her foot swelled. Then her finger, thats when we went to the vet & it started to get better but now its worse. Both hands & wrists and both feet are swollen. Her finger looks like it has a ball in it.Id give anything to help her.Shes my world. Please if there's anything else you know that i can do.Or just to ease my mind. Please comment back.Again Thank you! Your beardie looks just like my Stella.Shes beautiful

I just took my beardie to the vet because I noticed his toe was swollen. The vet said that he has gout (didnt do any blood tests, she could tell by looking at how his toe was swollen) and that there isn't really anything I can do to treat it. I would love to get a second opinion and I'll definitely use this website if the next vet agrees :) Thank you so much. my baby is 5 years old, and I wasnt feeding many insects recently but I think I didnt provide him enough water. I feel so bad. He's my first beardie and I raised him by hand from 2 months old. His name is Buddy.

Dragacron Good luck!!! Her website is more holistic-herbal based so I’m not sure if it’s “vet approved” but Bug De Lites Gout kit hands down saved my girl!

I got a Frilled Dragon and none of the vets in a 100 mile radius helped at all, and the majority of them won't look at her since they aren't familiar with them. We raised her by hand and spoil her like no other. Her cage is 4x4x2 with a huge running water fall, water bowl to play in (mainly go to the bathroom in), arcadia 4ft 12% uvb t5 D3 light with basking spot, with overhead infrared heating. I hand feed her roaches with calcium everyday, and I give her water by bottle as well.
We just noticed last week on her right side that her legs are starting to get bigger then the other side. She still runs and jumps, but we need to get something! The vets are just taking our money and not helping her at all so we need to do whatever we can. The closest vet to us that can see her is 8 plus hours away and that's even if they do anything! She's about 1.5 years old now. Hopefully after finding your video and getting ahold of her this will help! I'll keep you updated and thank you!

HI. Thank you for this. My 8 yr old male beardy has, I believe, developed gout. My vet is similar - have done x-rays which show no abnormalities. This began about a month ago and his front left leg is affected. He went off food and lost in total about 50-60g in a couple of weeks! He's now improving - putting weight back on and his leg is less swollen and he's not reacting like it's painful and beginning to put more weight on it. He's beginning to show interest in food again too now. So far only treatment has been daily baths in reptoboost, critical care formula and vitamins in a mash of butternut squash, bee pollen and greens with a small amount of medicinal manuka honey (in case of any internal infections) which I am syringe feeding him daily. In addition he is getting CBDs per his weight and am using arnica 200C and daily reiki. I am taking him back to vets in a week for another check up but am hopeful now when wasn't before. If he gets worse again intend to have him registered with a homeopathic vet as well as using whatever the vet suggests and will definitely look into the herbal product you suggest - lets hope she will ship to the UK. He's always been a sod to get to eat any greens - I don't think he's ever eaten so many so regularly lol But seems to be working so far.

Sage is absolutely beautiful!! We are dealing with gout in my sons beardie (she is his, but I take care of her) Her name is BB for big belly, she is a healthy girl. But I noticed about a month ago that she wasn’t eating and she was going to the bathroom, even when I would put her in a warm tub of water, which she usually would go right away. Then I noticed her two front legs looked swollen and I definitely felt something was wrong. Took her to the vet and basically paying quite a bit of money still didn’t help. So I will definitely call the people you have suggested, wish me luck.

Hello ! I just came across your video A few days ago and I’ve watched it a few different times actually. I have a leopard gecko that’s not doing well at all. I took him to the vet a few weeks ago the vet thought it was MBD but said it could be gout also. He said the only way to find out if it was gout was to do this test or bloodwork that was gonna be 200 bucks. So instead the vet suggested to wait on this test and continue doing the anti-inflammatory medicine and antibiotic that he had previously prescribed. He wanted to see him again in 10 days which puts it out today actually I have to bring him there this afternoon. But since his last appointment and watching all of these videos and reading information I am about 100% sure that my leopard gecko has gout and probably should’ve been on some kind of a gout medication instead of the Antibiotic. And of course with the goat DFT eat low low protein food and since my little guy isn’t doing well he hasn’t been able to eat on his own at all so the vet gave me this critical care food that of course is high in protein which I think it’s made the gout worse ? But he gave him this food without the gout diagnosis just yet. I just can’t believe there’s no videos out there about leopard geckos with the gout. So I’m wondering about this bug de lite website that you suggested I did check it out and I’m wondering if this stuff is OK to give leopard geckos because they are a lot smaller than bearded dragons lol. My poor little gecko seems to have pretty bad in his feet and his knees and elbows and of course he has trouble moving around. I wish I would’ve found your video a couple weeks ago because I would’ve ordered that stuff that you suggested and maybe my gecko would be getting better by now instead of getting worse. I’m not sure what my vet will say today and I know you’re not a reptile doctor lol but with your experience with your bearded dragon what would you suggest I do with my leopard gecko ?

God I’ve been trying to find some kind of explanation as to what’s wrong with mins. She’s had swollen limbs for weeks now and we’ve had multiple vet trips and they can’t find anything! They say it’s some bacterial infection, but the injections we’ve been giving her aren’t helping. Not even the anti inflammatory we’ve been giving her is helping. It’s not MBD from what they said and I just don’t know what to do!

@Mohammed Mustafa Well he's been on Allopurinol for 2 weeks now we're supposed do more bloodwork after 3 to 4 weeks so I'll know more then. They put him on Metacam for the pain but they can't stay on that forever. He seems to be feeling ok like 75% of the time. We believe we caught it early. Did yours have parasites before this? We think it was the parasite medicine that weakened his kidneys enough to get it at this age. If you haven't, you need to change your's diet to low protein. If you have any more Qs I'm happy to share info.

I just got my bearded dragon about 3 months ago and she’s only about 7-9 months old and when I got her she seemed really healthy and was active and seemed very happy but after a month of having her her back right ankle swelled to almost double the size of her normal ankle... I went to the vet and they said she had gout but everything they told me to try didn’t work :( I don’t have a lot of money so I can’t pay for expensive treatments and now all her ankles are swollen and her right hip is starting to swell... she doesn’t move much and I don’t know what else to do... I don’t want to lose her but I also don’t want her to suffer please help!

    • @DaniGlover

Seth The Cat hey! I’m so sorry to hear this is happening. I would absolutely look into the products I mentioned in the video, and send this comment to Tracie at bug-de-lite. Your dragon sounds like it has the same symptoms mine did, and the daily allopurinol helped her get back to normal!
In the meantime, give your dragon lots of clean water, syringe feed greens (baby food) if he won’t eat, and possibly cut protein with your vets advice.

Im glad your beardie is doing better
My old beardie who was 6 died from gout..
I didn't take him to the vet because i thought he can be treated at home...
    Stupid me..
I never knew that getting that kidney support medicine and the other prescriptions from Tracy would work
When i researched about Gout i only saw that cherry juice helped
And my beardie tried it but through time quickly he passed on after his arm gotten worse
The gout must of spread through his heart
Its weird back in 2017 therr wasn't enough evidence on how to treat gout with beardies...
Anyways im glad Sage is doing well
