Another outstanding video, love Clancy Brown in Highlander, as a kid from the 80s I always thought he was a such a bad@ss, not to mention the awesome Queen soundtrack on the original movie. Great Job.
So, Queen Margot, I believe I have a few films to recommend for your treatment: 1. Over the Edge (so brilliant and Matt Dillon plus *fab* music) 2. Ghostbusters (1984) my all time favorite film forever!! 3. Mystic Pizza (good actresses and friendship stories) 4Wall Street - it inspired every money boy of today...
Such a great explanation of the film. I thought this was a very memorable film, and I used to reference all the time. I thought this was a very unique film, and an exciting story.
The Kurgan also quotes Neil Young in the church - “it’s better to burn out than fade away” (which some Xers think is from Def Leppard but it’s all from Neil!)
Yes i know Lynch's Dune to some was not great. To me it was wonderful. Remember getting all the toys for Christmas that year and got ro see the movie on Christmas day, twice after i asked the manager to let me see again. So i would love if tou were able to blend your wonderful charisma with Dune for a sokid review. Also this video was fantastic. I just got through your miami vice videos, which prompted my subscription. Keep these awesome vidoes coming.
As a medievalist I can’t get enough of sword-fighting - usually it’s much worse than it is here (Excalibur is particularly bad). I’d love to hear your take on Excalibur as well Morgan! Love your channel
I first saw this on a lark about 15 years ago because of Sean Connery and that it mostly took place in gritty 80s NYC, which I love. It didn't disappoint and I must say, Clancy Brown played the Kurgan to the bloody hilt (e.g., the church scene). This is the film that also introduced me to Queen which led me to see Flash Gordon as well. The sequels were such a letdown, however. I did enjoy the series with Elizabeth Gracen but the original Highlander will always stand out as something truly original. And yes, whenever I have visited my relatives in Flushing, Queens on the 7 train, I can't help but see the famous Silvercup Studios sign (the back of it anyway). Once again, you are spot on, Morgan.👍
Oh, and girl, please please please do Sting-as-poet inThe Bride! I will love you forever and ever...plus we see some gorgeous Jennifer beals wearing gorgeous regency costumes....sigh!
Great suming-up as usual.👍
Excellent! Thorough as always. Loved all the links to Star Wars... and spot on with the mitichlorian analogy. Good grief, you're good!
Thank you for your *awesome* channel Queen Morgan! I’ve made some suggestions and I am so thrilled I found your channel

Great video Morgan! Love this movie and your depth of knowledge is crazy impressive!!!
Of all the movies I never saw on the big screen, this is the one I regret the most.
Outstanding as always! Please consider reviewing David Lynch's DUNE before the new version is released.
Yes! Morgan please please do Dune! I’d love to hear your take on that Lynch (flawed) masterpiece...

Thank you so much for the video.
I watch these videos at a very slow pace because I think about them for a long time.

Gordon is alive?
*"It has larger-than-life characters" I saw what you did there Morgan.*
Ah yes! How can you not love the original Highlander? Any thoughts of delving a bit deeper into the sword wielding and reviewing "Excalibur?"
👏
There can be only one.
