This came to my Homestuck playlist when I put it on a "random". It was *almost* 5 am, and the rays of the sun were breaking through the window, behind which there was a lightly blue-pink sky of dawn. It fits perfectly to *sunrise*.
I have bittersweet feelings about homestuck, it carried me throughout my teenaged years and it helped me find my best friend, this and all of one year older have always been a comfort for me. The older i got the more i realized homestuck was an extremely flawed franchise but it will always have a special place in my heart, I would not be who i am without it.
Now that I've listened to this song more, it's more like a really warm sweater. Really warm filled with love. One that I never want to outgrow nor lose. A precious memento~ of people close to the heart~
don't u love how everyone says "I wish homestuck ended on this song" on just about every homestuck song on the track? like, some of them didn't get their wish. and im glad they didn't. it's partially schadenfreude on my part, but its also a bit of concern for how the ending would actually have turned out if it was playing action music or some shit.
To everyone who reads it. You're the strongest and the most talented person on Earth. You have a vast potential. You'll achieve everything you want. You are smart, strong, attractive and cool, and don't let anyone (even yourself) tell you otherwise. The friends and lovers who dump you didn't deserve you anyway, because you're better than them and their shit. Don't let it hold you down and keep striving. I believe in you.
If I really wanted I could copy the embed url paste it into youtube to mp3 and download this song. But I don't, and you know why? Because I feel so close to everyone who contributes to Homestuck that I would feel like a complete shit if I downloaded this beautiful song without paying for it.

I am considering getting my master's degree actually. I thought I would call it quits at my bachelors because I'm a first gen student but I really want to do some post grad considering my recent success in school.
This is true, but that doesn't stop anyone from using the more harsher and rip'perer ones. My quicktime app on my mac still downloads TH-cam videos that I play no matter what. I just casually delete them or share. So Piracy isn't a thing.
All apps for youtube that I've ever seen don't even work. I don't mean to make it sound like piracy is cool, but it's really the only thing that I can do to get music.

oh yeah, hindsight is 20/20 and homestucks fucked, but i'll never forget the friends i made and lost thanks to the series.
