Him and his wife would drive along the beach where they lived and invite random groups of people to dinner to talk about hobbies and stuff. He was a nice man.
I wish I could have met Vincent Price while he was was still alive too, but I met him only in dreams that I had about him back in the 1970s and 1980s, including a scary dream that I had about him that was based on the old ABC-TV series Curiosity Shop episode "Where Do You Go to Get Out of a Scare?" , where Vincent Price was a guest star and Master of Scaremonies.
Fun fact he didn't develop that distinct voice until a little later in his career. In the movie The Invisible Man Returns. He uses a different vice then drifts into the more famous voice off and on as the movie progresses.
R.I.P. Vincent Price. He was an amazing American horror film actor. Plus, he was hilarious. Just remember his voices of the characters will always be there for everyone.

Vincent Price was the Unquestionable King of Horror, But he also LOVED doing Family friendly works as well, because he figured that being in kid friendly movies would help to develop fans at an early age. .....And He was Right.
Something about Vincent Price's voiceacting, it's like water. It's with the capability to be on the extremes of exceedingly cold, yet also awfully warm and friendly.
OH! RIP he was a true KING among actors, not just horror! when a guy says "I love it when I'm nasty!" with such twisted glee, not only do you know he's having a genuine blast, but you've definitely got the right guy for the part!
Vincent Price is my favorite actor i like the quotes from Michael Jackson Song Thriller and that evil laugh during the end of the song gave me goosebumps that was awesome. R.I.P. Vincent Price
Vincent Price was a truly wonderful performer. "The Great Mouse Detective" was where I first learned his name, though I didn't know at the time I had also heard him narrate a few episodes of "Faerie Tale Theatre", which could have been included here too. But he had more voiceover roles than I realized. What a wonderful career both onscreen and offscreen. RIP, Vincent.
RIP Vincent price he is one hell of an actor and horror movie actor he's my favorite horror movie actor I love him a lot I can imitate his voice from his great different roles
Oh god... It was him all those years ago, when I was a wee lad going into the Phantom Manor and losing my sanity when the floor started to descend while his voice was playing on the speakers :)
Huge Scooby Doo child. Adored Vincent Price since a child. Am rediscovering him and learning more about of his life. Love TH-cam . Price also loaned his beautifully creepy voice to an Alice Cooper album, Welcome to My Nightmare.. the song was, "The Black Widow".. my favorite Alice Cooper album.
Great video Tim, I’ve always enjoyed hearing his voices in different cartoons, especially when performs one of my favorite characters Ratigan & Iron Tail! & we can’t forget loving his iconic voice in Thriller😊😊😁
Ah a true Icon in every sense of the word, he was the man who invented the "Evil Laugh" that even today so many can only try to imitate. Poorly I might add. God rest your soul Vincent Price, you shal be forever missed.
Vincent Price also appeared on the Muppet Show as a guest star. A few years ago, my brother Robert asked me if I know Vincent Price, and I told him of Vincent Price as a great actor. He had done some research, and he told me that we're distantly related to Vincent Price!! It's no wonder 🤔 I like Halloween so much.
@@pikppa The closest we could hope for now is for Maurice LaMarche to get a chance to voice Dr. Strange. If you watch Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated, LaMarche gives an excellent impression of Price as Vincent Van Ghoul.
You missed two. 1974, Alice Cooper, "Welcome To My Nightmare": Devil's Food/Black Widow monologue. It's where MJ and producers got idea for Thriller rap from. You also missed the narration from Edward Scissorhands.
Professor Ratigan and Irontail were my first two times hearing his voice as a kid! I loved him, Tony Jay and Tim Curry the absolute best as villains throughout my childhood.
I've seen House on Haunted Hill as well as other films with Vincent Price. My statement still stands. The Thriller video is one of the most well known videos ever. People who don't even listen to music are aware of the video and song. I am certain more people know Thriller than know House on Haunted Hill. It is his most recognizable work.
I Remember That. It Was Terrifying, Scary, Horrifying, And Perfect For Horror Movies And The Narration Of The Haunted Mansion Attraction At Disney World And Disney Land. P:S He Was Perfect For Narration And Voice Acting For Cartoons Like Scooby Doo And Michael Jackson's Thriller Rap Back In The 1980's\80's
One of many good actors that have left this world. I love all of his horror movies even a few comedies he has done. And anything animated that has his voice or his hands in the mix I definitely get a chance to try to find then enjoy watching them.
I’m so glad they’ve brought his voice back for Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris. He was the original voice, but they replaced him coz his French parts were incomprehensible and just had it all in French until a few years ago
He was also in The Number of the Beast and a song by Alice Cooper or something like that. Rest in Peace best Ratigan and ZigZag. He was best as an actor for horrors movies which's actually true, and he had good narration. Oh yes, and he also performed Monster Mash and read the Raven once.
If you to Disneyland Paris, in their Haunted Mansion ride version called "Phantom Manor", Vincent Price provided the english narration for the ride and his iconic laugh. Disney removed Vincent Price's narration on the ride but they later brought it back in 2019 after they refurbished the ride.
From what I understand, Ratigan was the last voice role he did, as well as my favorite by him.. He even said voicing Ratigan was his favorite role.. Also, when he voiced Zig-Zag in The thief and the cobbler, the lines were already pre-recorded before it released.
Hey Saturday Morning Rewind, there was another show that Vincent did in the year of 1971...it was called 'The Hilarious House of Frightenstein'. It was shot at the 163 Jackson St. West studios of CHCH Television in the downtown of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and it took him only a few weeks to do all his segments, the vast majority of them having poetry recited. The show also starred Billy Van(in multiple roles), Fishka Rais, Allen 'Guy Big' Hoffman, Mitch Markowitz, and Julius Sumner Miller. For Vincent to cross the border here into Canada and do a show here showed that he was willing to give the Canadian TV industry some help when we kind of needed it. He was selfless in selfish times, and to me, because of that, Vincent is, now and forever, an Honorary Canadian. =)
Anything that Vincent Price did was pure gold. I wish I could've met him.
We all do.
Me too
