I own a copy of this and I thought the worst part of it was just that the leaders just have cardboard tokens and not unique models (even just cheap plastic ones)
Abaddon’s unique ability is on point, given that he did thirteen Black Crusades that all failed… until GW decided to retcon it that they were actually all totally part of his plan and succeeded. He ‘rerolled his ones’ if you will.
While there are legitimate issues with this game I feel quite a lot of the negatives are nitpicking. The examples on the box, missed brackets, wrong "you"s, and the lore inaccurate map don't directly pose issues to gameplay and overall quality. Lore is held in far to high regard as a standard and infallible. Even GW blatantly ignores and rewrites it constantly.
The classic version speeds up the game by rewarding players with larger numbers of troops as the cards get cashed in. Eventually, someone will gain so many troops that they can go on a roll knocking off players and acquiring / cashing in more cards as they go. This is the "risk" of the game. If they run out steam and fail to conquer all, the next player to cash in will likely win. If the army rewards are static, then I fail to see how this could shorten the game or allow for underdogs to come back? It has been basic risk game theory for decades that increasing army rewards for cashing in cards shortens game length.

Stopped watching as soon as you said you used A.i images, warhammer has plenty of art you could of used.
You clearly dont play warhammer. Interpreting rules and spelling errors is basically part of the game now. I have never spoken to anyone who has the same interpretation of the same rule, because the dont word anything well at all.
Another Cynical money grab only this time both Evil Empires are involved (Hasbro and GW)
Why cant you pronounce Vigilus properly?
Vij-i-lus
hahahah. did I goof that up. hahah. my bad.
Very informative but could you not do coke before filming?
Unprecise wording? Thanks I pass. Cash in on the franchise nothing else.

What would you expect from GW these days other than total incompetence, corner cutting, disrespect for their own lore and a total lack of consideration for their customers?
Good job their miniatures are nice, right? RIGHT?
Ah you don't get any. Oh also, they need you to get another rule book? Haha.
I'm actually a warhammer fan, I just can't stand GW.

the editing is unbearable man... I had to turn it off, sorry. Cut down on the noises, it's very annoying.
Idk why u keep making risk warhammer content......
haha, that is the last video. still working on my video making skills. also playing with video content types, like this 'how did this actually make it to production' as an on going series with other games. next is Scythe. then the new Axis and Allies. cheers
Probably cause he likes it, any other stupid questions?
@@BoardGameHackers Do what you want dude, can't please everyone.
I don't think this can beat Risk Halo Legendary Edition; and that is not even mostly ignored on BGG.
I like the Starcraft and Metal Gear for their IP representation.
So far best Risk versions, playability wise, are still the Risk 2210AD and Risk Europe. You could also say the same for Star Wars Edition Black; though that one is more Queen's Gambit than actual Risk.
Best Warhammer board game so far: Forbidden Stars.
*board game, not tabletop war game
forbidden stars eh? I'll have to hunt that one down. ya, 2210AD is hard to beat and Europe has an interesting taxing and spending system. I have Risk Halo, but I haven't played it yet. Should get it on my roster. Cheers

Forbidden Stars = Out of Print
Note: Risk Halo and Risk Halo Legendary are two different games.
I have a Risk Halo that says 'Legendary included'. I didn't know they made them separate!
I'll keep my eye out for Forbidden Stars at flee markets. Thanks
