Racing an M4 GTS Down Stunt Rd! | IRL Samples | Realistic S55 Soundmod Showcase | Assetto Corsa

Found some time and processed most of the recorded samples from my previous video (not all of them). As the sound sits, it has exhaust, intake, and overrun brap samples. I will probably get to recording interior and bits and pieces soon.
The limiter is not sourced from my own recordings. I had to find a temporary solution by recording a few limiters from TH-cam. That will change once I go out and record again. I'm loving the sound though, as it's more realistic (imo) than any other S55 sound out there, since I had full control of what I record and have a decent mic setup for this. It's just missing a few small details currently
I'm excited to finish this and bring you guys the most detailed and realistic S55 audio to Assetto Corsa. This is only an early version of it

Obviously since I recorded the samples on my own personal F80 M3, this will be the most detailed S55 sound in AC to date. Everything to the braps (recorded every 500-1000rpms) to the engine ramps is all recorded in a controlled manner. I don't have a set release date yet as I've been busy outside of soundmodding, but this WILL come out, for free as per usual

Excited about this. It sounds really close if not same as IRL. What do you use to record it? I have Boya M1S hooked to my license plate but it’s never this clean. I think it can’t handle the decibel level.

@@DailyDrivenM2 And I'm excited to finish it finally. I just got a Dinan muffler so I'll be re-recording this weekend with the same Zoom H1N with a deadcat. It can barely handle how loud it is even if I have stock downpipes so I suggest suction cupping it to the top of the trunk (about 4-6 inches to the left or right of the BMW logo). However if you have a full exhaust with downpipes I would suggest the higher-end Zoom mics that can handle higher SPL levels

Man I'm looking forward to being able to do what you do. Recording vehicle audio is so fun but so tedious. Gaining connections to be able to record these awesome cars is not easy. Really solid samples you've got here as well! Keep up the AWESOME work!
