It sounds 99% like my car! It's so much cleaner and more realistic now. I highly recommend downloading this as I don't think there will be another S55 soundmod that will be as close as this after this update. Sorry this took so long, I've been on and off the PC for the past few weeks. But anyways here is the changelog! Install should be the same BMW F8X S55 Soundmod V2.1 -Revised EQ for all tracks -Revised pitch for engine samples (no more wowowowowowowowow/flanger effect in the interior) -Added diff thump sound on hard acceleration and deceleration in interior -Correct interior shift sound added to the DCT version -Drivetrain/diff mechanical noises upon shifting at lower speeds -Diff whine added (recorded from my car) -New brap samples for interior -New burble samples for interior (GTS tune) -Turbo sounds revised, quieter in the interior, added slight whine on spool-up -Turbo spool on decel and coming to a stop in the exterior. Recorded from a Pure Turbo M4 -Shift sounds on DCT, per popular request, are now audible at full throttle instead of 50-75 percent -Flyby sounds reworked with my own samples, gone are the GT4 samples -Traction control sound is added, albeit not perfect because of AC's FMOD bank limitations. Could you tell me how to add the upshift sound in, or maybe you could add it in a future update hopefully? thx
Is it somehow possible to use it for the Kunos M4 Akrapovic? I'm getting an LOD error because of the .acd. Wanted to use the no burble variant on the normal M4 and the burble variant on the Akra variant.
@@Shinkaaaa you only need to copy the sfx folder inside the burble variant onto the akra and rename the original .bank name with the file name of the akra m4 and also do the same inside the GUIDs.txt
Can you please do a soundmod for a Nissan 370z with like an Armytrix exhaust? It's my favourite car and I drive one myself but there is no game out there that gets the sound right :(
in the readmereadmereadme.txt file it says to drag and drop into ks_bmw_m4 from either non zcp or zcp if you have the default kunos m4. For the manual m4 I have included a link that leads you to the download for that car. Install is similar

ive gotten the sound to work but i dont get any upshift sound with the dct sound version, any fix?
As far as I know the DCT only makes that shift noise when at 50-75% throttle. I’ve made it similar in the game

Yes just rename the car name inside the GUIDs and the name of the .bank file to the name of the MNBA M4’s filename

As a gt7 players this sound’s perfect polyphony got their m4 sounds so poor. They do well with the other cars but their m4 sound is way off
