- The transition from junior to elite DH racer is notoriously difficult... But it takes more than that to scare Thibaut Daprela. The consistently quick ‘Rookie’ of the 2020 season had an explosive and more than impressive first year elite season, finishing 5th overall!
Back on familiar training territory with his SUPREME DH 29/27, he's preparing for 2021. Will this be his year?

That horrible pinging sound (most apparent at 1:43) picked up by the onboard mic is pretty unnerving. Is that an echo inside the tire? I suppose we couldn't really hear it without strapping a mic so close to it but it's interesting none the less.
Yeh it’s a very interesting sound. Only really heard that noise when one of my mates had pumped his tyres up about 40 psi and was hitting roots and rocks
I just put a schwalbe pro core in my rear tyre and it makes that sound when the tyre hits the inner kevlar tube.
