- Gorge Road Trails is an icon in the world or MTB and BMX dirt jumping. In the heart of Queenstown New Zealand this legendary riding location has everything from beginner and intermediate lines all the way up to some of the steepest and most technical jumps and transfers in the world! Riding these lines on my dirt jump bike felt amazing and the POV shots are unreal. Shout out to the locals who spend so much time digging and maintaining these jumps for us to enjoy, we really are lucky to have such hard working people in our sport! Good luck to the Slopestyle riders at Crankworx Rotorua!

This has to go down as my all time favourite youtube clip. Period. I've walked these jumps many times and almost had a panick attack contemplating what it would take to jump them. I pictured Greek gods on chariots sailing over these things. The guys that do it are a different breed. I wish I was reborn as one of them. Seeing them on here and you doing them with such skill... I feel so privileged. To switch from line to line like you're a passenger is insane. You're commentating the whole way!!! I seriously feel that Dream track and Gorge are some of the most difficult or maybe extreme jumps I've seen you do. If you're still in the area, check out Queenstown Hill. There's gold in them there hills....

After watching this i realised my quads and hammies were tensed up from pumping into the ground while i was sat down “relaxing” i think i might have ptsd from a recent jumps fail. 😂
Im happy to accept these kinds of jumps aren’t for me now. Only took 1 collar bone and 10 ribs to learn that lesson. Hope you stick around for crankworx rotorua.
went to queenstown a couple months ago and it was the best experience. I went and saw those downhill jumps you were hitting and that alone was the coolest thing other than skiing and the views there. coming from australia it was amazing
The height and air time leaves me in awe. I did 5 foot high 180's when I was younger and thought I was the man. This is just.....wow.

dude this is such a sick edit man..! Dream track really is an absolute beast! .. And the absolute sculptural work of art that is Gorge Road, it's so insane to think of the work that's gone into it, & so crazy to think that it was almost lost to the world were it not for Rod Drury saving it.. also the flex with the 918 & the F40 lol just casually ;) .. Given Rod founded a now 13B USD company, i dare say there's probably a McLaren in there somewhere too most likely haha! Of all ridiculous sports cars worth more than i earn in a 10 year period lol, a McLaren would be my favourite, not just cos theyre epic cars but it was first started by Kiwi legend Bruce McLaren..
Such a pity Christchurch hills had the fire just before our first Crankwworx summer series, that new DH track looked sick! woulda been sick to see ya on that maybe, & towed in by Blenki down some other DH or Matt Begg down Ozone, or maybe down the Mt Hutt trails.. Anyway sick vid as always!

When a rider like Matt is towed in, is he watching how fast the leader goes AND how much they pop? Or do you just assume the leader is doing a regular amount of pop unless they say otherwise?
