    I don't understand why this human life is precious.

    • @PrimordialWisdom
      @PrimordialWisdom 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's precious because it is the only opportunity everyone has to be ourselves.

      Because the freedoms and advantages connected with the human form are very difficult to find so it's important to make the most out of them. Thus, human life is very precious as long as you understand the importance of practicing Dharma for the benefit of all sentient beings.

      According to Buddhist thought (and some other religions) human birth is a necessary prerequisite in order to step off of the wheel of birth and death.
      It is taught that this "precious human birth" is very rare. For these reasons we are told that failing to use this rare opportunity is a terrible tragedy.

    Thank you for the teachings!
    At the 45 min mark, several practices are suggested. I would like to search for information about these. How are these teachings spelled?

    • @katethomas

      Trainings in Illusory Body, Dream Yoga, and Luminosity Yoga are the three practices mentioned to work with the true nature of mind through practicing deity or yidam yoga (Padmasambhava, Vajrakilaya, Buddha Shakyamuni) and visualizations of the three channels, etc. That is what Khenpo Sherab Sangpo mentions around the 45-minute mark in this video.

    what is the word which we must repeat 5 times?🙏

    • @KhenpoSherabSangpo
      @KhenpoSherabSangpo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The word is the seed syllable HRI (shree, shree, shree, shree shree). Here is the practice text for you related to this video. www.bodhicittasangha.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/PDF-Phowa-Transference-of-Consciousness.pages.pdf

    So what I become an animal? :)))
    I won't have a sense of self awareness no pain, no suffering. Without discriminitory mind and self awareness the pain and suffering don't make any sense. The real fucked up situation to be a human this is the worst reincarnation the soul can take. Nothing has meaning at all everything is impermanent. "To help to others?" even a lion takes cares about other lions.
    You see the whole Buddhist point misses a few things. There is no "good" and "bad" karma. Good and bad only exist in human mind. Nowhere else. In terms of existence no such a htings good and bad. Pleasant and unpleasant. The existence only divided in human mind. There is no evolution without violence and killing in animal kingdom. There is no flower without compost. There is no life without death. Bad karma was essential to human biology structure developed by the time. There is only karma.
    That's why I don't think this whole liberation got a point at all.
    Who cares what you was what you'll be? You won't remember anyway. Just if you do recall those memories by practice.
    But in default state you won't remember. Even if you would that's the past who cares? :D
    This is a poor argument to motivate people to practice.
    I practice because brings balance, peace, and calm. Teaches me to be more compassion and don't give a shit to anything and get attached to anyone or anything.
    These are the real benefits.
    If I'll be a cockroach next time who cares? :D That's not me first of all if no ones is here who will be what? Hahahaha.
